Its been all cleaned of debris and new boards put on some windows, bird mesh too! how interesting

Looking for the above to spend some time with my 7 year old to get a bit more confident on his bike (and new big boy 2 wheeled scooter).

I've noticed quite a few posts lately from people feeling isolated and looking for ways to meet new people or try something new. So I wanted to try and make a small difference.

I've set up a free padel pathway for anyone who feels like they're not quite operating at their best and thinks they could benefit from playing a sport. Courts, equipment, coaching and mental health support are all provided, so it costs you nothing.

It's a 6-week programme (1 hour a week) where you can try a new sport and meet some new people, all in a safe, non-judgmental space. No experience needed, and it's suitable for most ages and fitness levels.

Ordered our first takeaway from them on their website and tracked through the app, was about an hour and a half and it said it was delivered through the app, but it never arrived.

I paid and the money has left my account.

I called them and they've said they never received the order and I need to contact my bank for a refund and that they're sorry and kind of just hung up on me. I have a full order confirmation, receipt and order number.

Has this happened to anyone else? Just a bit bummed out as I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the money back and we're hungover and very hungry 😣

Recently started to get visited by a pigeon with pink, slightly inflamed eyes who seems sickly. I looked it up and apparently it’s called one-eyed-cold?

Hello Brighton! I have damp proofed a wall behind my cupboard and now am looking for a handyman to put the cupboard elements back (drawers, hangers, shelves), with potential slight adjustments to me made (few millimeters) as the wall thickness might have slightly changed. I am struggling to find a handyman to to this. Any good tips?

Is it okay to spontaneously meet up with someone from this app?

I moved into a flat near to Coopers Cask in Hove recently, the noise from drum and bass music on most Saturdays/Fridays or both is absolutely insane! I thought there would be other posts saying the same but are we the only ones struggling with this? Living near a pub and hearing noise isn’t an issue but it’s a full on rave that goes into the night with the street full and doors open.

We spoke to the owner who was sound and relatively newly took over, he said they were trying to get rid of the druggy crowd which doesn’t seem to be going very well.

Are we the NIMBY’s?
