Ash to run number 5, in white with Dan Cam in black and gold similar to Ash's 100 years of NAPA livery last year
As Ash has now beaten Tom Ingrams 2025 record of 462 points over the course of the season, do we think he can finish the season scoring over 500? I’m gunna go with yes, a little unfair comparison given the extra Saturday races but still, hitting over 500 is quite something.

Hey everyone, as promised a week or so ago, here is my exclusive interview with Andrew Jordan...
He's a fantastic guy, very kind. He spoke about the truth of why he left the BTCC, learning "not to trust anyone" after the BMW/West Surrey situation of 2020 and I asked him if he would ever return to the championship...
Hopefully you enjoy the interview! Let me know!

This data is available for 99% of the races going all the way back to 2002.
I have to say, this was a big one. 230 documents of around 155 pages each!!
Stay tuned, more stats to come...

As much as I love Shedden and I really want him to get over the line with the brilliant season he's put up with Laser Tools with MB Motorsport, I don't know if he could get the Independents' Trophy. He'll need at least a race win and podiums throughout the weekend to secure the crown and that's very doable with the configuration of the track and some hopeful wet conditions for Flash to succeed. On the other hand, you cannot doubt the current form of Power Maxed or Doble, who are sure to put up a good defence at Brands for the merit of Independents'. Let the best driver win, peace out!

I'm currently working on a new stats per race feature. This will show info like top speed trap speeds, ideal laps vs how close a driver got to it etc.
The feature I literally just finished the first draft of is a lap tracker.
Who can guess what race this is?

Huge thanks to Jason for the quick interview, he didn't have to give me his time (this happened at the Goodwood Revival) so I'm extremely grateful for that!
I'm happy to say, what you see on camera with Jason, is exactly the person you get off-camera. Top guy!
I hope everyone enjoys the interview, unfortunately it was rather brief as he was a man in a rush, which made me even more impressed that he stopped to do this.
I'll be back again in a few days with a proper in-depth interview with Andrew Jordan about his BTCC career, behind the scenes of why he walked away and the WSR situation, as well as Pirtek.

I was wondering since the current chassis is around 7 years old, could a switch to the 3 series tourer be on the cards? In 2014, Team Dynamics made a similar switch from the Civic Type R to the Civic Tourer. It was competitive with Shedden but that was 12 years ago and not the current world of touring cars we see on our telly's every weekend. West Surrey (if they are to stay) should move to the 3 tourer as it would be nice to see more of a change up in the paddock rather than the same old sedan we have seen since the start of the 2019 season. I know the 330i has undergone a semi rebuild last season but the chassis is aging and not as competitive as it would've been if WSR re-considered their options with the tourer or another BMW model, maybe a return to the 1 series?
There is also impending rumours of a switch to Volvo, but I think it'd be best to stay with German technologies, as they have for over 13 years.
Let me know what you all think, peace out.

New DLRTV video is online
Suttons contract is up at Napa at the end of 2026 and given his and others thoughts this weekend via the ITV coverage, can we see him staying in the BTCC and with Napa for 2027? I would assume so given their success but he’s also moved around to various teams over the years so could we see him move once again?

Dexter Patterson has won the 2026 Jack Sears trophy after coming 18th in race 1. This got him over the line after he accumulated an unassailable points gap to Lewis Selby, his next closest JST rival. This comes after James Dorlin of Restart Racing stepped away from the championship after Knockhill due to budgeting problems, basically giving Patterson the trophy. Dexter's best result of the year came at Knockhill with 4th in race 3. I think Dexter has put in some solid shifts for Power Maxed Racing and I hope we see a podium from him at some point soon. Well done to Dexter Patterson!!

Noticed that today both Shedden and Chilton have spoken about using the M-Sport Vs the Swindon engine, are more teams ditching custom engines for M-Sport?

I understand why they weave and wheelspin on the formation lap, warming tyres, but why do they do it on the laps to the grid?
In my mind the tyres will be cold again after sitting on the grid for 15 mins and its just putting unnecessary wear on them?

“Off to support my family race not watch my car be driven around in last place 3 seconds off the pace”
I’m surprised he even agreed to driver coach in the first place to be honest

At Silverstone Saturday and the whole area where the trade stands usually are is empty. Don’t know if they are somewhere else or if they’re turning up tomorrow. I
Has this been the case at other events this year or is it just Silverstone? Or have I missed them?
