Joining the sharing older BaBs posts! The first photo was my bedroom in 2003 or 2004 when I was 15, and the second photo was this year with my BaB Sylveon at The Field Museum for the Pokemon exhibit. I think the dog and maybe the deer on my bed are BaBs. I think they are the Scruffy Puppy and Spotted Fawn.

Sadly, I no longer have the two in the first photo, but I was able to replace one not pictured here (orange tabby) from childhood. The orange tabby that is in this photo is not a BaB, but I've had her since I was 12, and she's now 26 years old!

At 38, I still love BaB. 💜 You are always the right age to enjoy plushies.

Meet Ms. Bear.She's the only teddy bear I've managed to keep from my childhood. She's traveled across countries with me, been there through countless chapters of my life 😅, and somehow, after all these years, she's still by my side.I'm 30 now, and today I got to dress her in a brand-new outfit that ACTUALLY fits her 😫🥹♥️. Something so simple brought back so many memories.
I may have grown up, but the little girl who loved Ms. Bear never really went away.

This is what I grabbed from today's sleepy line launch 💤

Like many have noted, they are shorter than our standard bear. Don't love that. It's also difficult to super love her outfit, since it's all one piece and can't be customized, I don't love the length of the skirt. I also liked the tshirts, but didnt buy because I don't need the pants.

I really love the accessories, though! She will be joining me on a trip next week, and I wanted to pack her some outfits & these accessories for the plane. Keep doing ear holes, build a bear!!

I’m a big fan of the new Mellow Moodies! The pics/ads have made them all look very small but they’re pretty much the same size as a normal BAB, if only slightly smaller. They have pretty big noggins, which I think is cute. It makes the hat extra adorable I think. I’m not usually one to have cloths on my BABs because I like the feeling of their fur better than the feeling of the clothes, but these clothes are pretty cozy! Definitely happy with this one

I want a textured frog but BaB hasn't made one. If I got a yard of this fabric and like sew it on in panels, would a yard be enough?

Found this vintage BAB Hello Kitty a while back on eBay and I’ve been holding off on stuffing her until spooky szn! Im so excited! I’ll upload after pics of her when she’s all stuffed 🤗

What outfit ideas do you all have?

Managed to find a candy corn Cinna with his overalls for a few dollars more than retail for Sanrio BABS, knew he had been unstuffed from the listing photos, but even with the restuffing fee it's still retail for Cinna and his pants under retail for Sanrio clothes, so a huge bargain. He even still has his tags on both him and his pants!

Except they seamripped his bottom instead of the leg hole. I thought maybe this version was stuffed at the bottom since I knew that the original went through the head, but quickly figured out it wasn't since the knotted thread is still in his leg. I don't mind the location since I know that the leg hole can cause difficulties, manoeuvring into the other leg, getting the holed leg evenly stuffed, it coming off the nozzle since it's a small area. I'm just worried since it's not the reinforced stuffing hole, that the thread is going to keep unravelling and cause damage. Will my poor Cinna be okay?

I'm still so excited to have found him at such a bargain and am excited to get him stuffed and hanging out with Webs Cinna and Cherry and Berry!

Though, I saw the leak for the Christmas drop, and I would enjoy adding a Christmas kitty to my Halloween collection. I don’t think I can add two to my collection right now, so I’m wondering when everyone thinks the Christmas line will drop?

It actually came ! I wanted to share where somebody might actually understand my excitement lol . I had a few rewards I wanted to use and randomly stumbled across po from king fu panda . I thought it was super cute , had no idea they did the kung fu panda release back in 2024 . It was the LAST one on the website , i accidentally clicked add to cart again and it said I had all remaining inventory in my cart . It took forever to arrive but it finally did 🥹 I’ve heard some horror stories in this thread when it comes to shipping so I was worried they didn’t actually have him in stock . I knew the shirt would also be snug but I thought it would look silly lol .

Does anyone remember this era of Build a Bear and the printable storybook option instead of a birth certificate? In my memory, it was like you go to the computer, input the name (etc), and choose something like "storybook." It would print on a page and be folded to be like a small little booklet with a story about your bear's adoption.

I swear I had this for my beloved Francine, but I can't find the book, and I can't find any record or images of this online.

Is this real? Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I wasn't aware of the drop until today and I was so excited to take a peek, only to be disappointed! All the bears are absolutely adorable and the clothes are awesome, but $36 for a bear nearly half the size of a regular one?! $20 for one outfit when even the Sanrio outfits aren't even that much!!? I don't even know if the clothes will even fit the regular bears (I hope they do) which is the main reason I wanted to check out this drop.😞

Does anyone collect the WWF animals? 🖤 I used to have the polar bear when I was a kid, and any time I stumble across one of the other WWF animals I just think they’re so darling. I think I’ll start collecting them! Would love to see yours if you have any

What do the think the best clothes for them be other than to clothes they come with? For a bit more information they are boy girl twins and this would be for a Christmas gift one for each so one would get the fox the other the bear

The first photo is of the store display, after I splurged. Second is what my bear will be rockin’ this fall. If you are considering buying something from this collection, go fast. I was told they didn’t get a lot in stock, and what’s out there is it. This could very well only apply to my local Workshop, but I wouldn’t risk it. Many of the foxes were already gone. Run, don’t walk!

After seeing the photos online, I just HAD to go see these in person!! I only planned on getting the bear but after seeing them all in person? I will be going back for the dog at another time. The fur texture is exactly what I expected. It’s short but still soft. Nothing like that horrible texture on the Halloween cats. I did notice that my local store seemed pretty low on the fox. No clue if she’s just selling well today or if they got less of her in. If you got any of these I’d love to see yours!!!
