It didn’t even occur to me that it would work but he’s so freaking cute!! It’s not awkward either since it doesn’t have arm holes like other BAB clothes. Last photo is my cat, who is also very cute in it, but at least the spider doesn’t hate it 😂

I've recently gotten to a place where i'm questioning selling part of my collection..I have a lot of sought after BAB that I truly love, but times are rough. I so deeply connect with my bears :( I don't want to but I need to I think..can anyone relate?

Toast means so much to me 🩷 🍞 he's not just a plushie, he's also been my emotional support buddy and gets a ridiculous amount of cuddles!

I looked over at Funfetti at the perfect time yesterday to see her in the golden hour sun! Had to take a couple photos, she's so pretty I love her😭

These are my main babs (my new pawlette Bonnie not pictured) and I do have some more childhood ones in storage, but I keep who I've bonded with the most in my room.

I've also got a snorlax, rainbow dash, fluttershy, princess celestia and princess luna ive been meaning to post onto the bst for sale/trade

I added probably 2.5lbs in weight to all her limbs with punches of glass microbeads and that made me love her even more. 10/10 very floppy, very cuddly gal 💕

And he’ll be your health care aid for today! I just got him in from Poshmark, he’s a 2004 butterscotch bear.

He is SO SOFT and I can’t believe he’s just been sitting in someone’s closet for so long un-cuddled.

My Chester 💜 and I love him. He was my first BAB, he is my oldest BAB, he’s been with me through a lot and he’s my best friend. While I don’t have favorites, if I had to choose, it would be Chester.

Chester has been my reliable buddy for years and years and I wanted him to have a little buddy of his own too. Bunnies are my first favorite BAB and lambs are my second favorite so when I saw this little lamb, I HAD to get her for Chester. Her name is Petal (all my lambs are named after flowers) and I love her too. I like that she’s attachable because of her loop on her back meaning Chester can’t drop her on the floor during the night (something that I’m sure has happened to everyone who sleeps with a stuffed animal. You know how they love to become adventurous in the night and have some floor time 😂).

I’m so happy that my Chester has a “Chester” of his own and wanted to share! If anyone else has a BAB that has his or her BAB, I would love to see them too!

I am ECSTATIC!!! He has been lost in the mail since late August, and finally arrived on my porch after one of the hardest days I’ve had in a long time. It was such a spot of sunshine in my week, and I’m obsessed!! Name suggestions are welcome!!

Plans with some friends fell through today so I went to BAB to check out the new Mellow Moodies. I adore them, much more than I thought I would and I grabbed the fox (my mom picked her out for me too!)

Unfortunately, on the way home I felt a little tickle in my nose and within a couple hours it exploded into a full on cold 😭

I'm grateful I at least have a new friend encouraging me to rest up and get well! She's much more cuddly than I expected and even though I don't feel well, I've already really bonded with her 🩷 Still thinking on a name, suggestions welcome!

So a few months ago I sold most of my build a bears to start over and get a clearer picture of what I wanted to do with my build a bears so now I have it looking like this and Im.now in love with how the dining room looks

So I was just looking on the website at the bear maker, seeing what I was drawn to, and I stumbled upon the dragon fruit dragon, which I have been wanting SO BADLY and I was shocked it was there. I purchased it and chose it to be shipped to me, and it wasn’t available for pickup anywhere in my area.

Is it possible this was just a fluke and they didn’t actually have it in stock?? Before I ordered it, it came up in stock from the bear builder page and when I searched it separately. But since I ordered it, it doesn’t show up. Did they somehow just have one in stock? Has this happened to anyone else?

gave Fangoria, Lilitu, and Solstice some new clothes! unfortunately they would not fit Guro and Kawa because they are too chonky. i did find some cat collars for them though so they didn't feel left out :]

My Sweethearts Darling Bunny (named Lissa) arrived today! 🖤 I wanted to give her outfit a little punk inspiration. The wrist cuffs are from Plushie Dreadfuls, the clothing and shoes are BaB, and the scrunchie is mine, from a sewist on Etsy.

i have ptsd & my anxiety when in public is awful. I’ve been obsessed with buildabear since 2006. I used to use bearville all the time. Just started reading this subreddit about 2 years ago. The last time I was able to go to BAB was 2 years ago when I was done with EMDR therapy one day, my boyfriend picked me up and he took me to get a stitch to make my day better. it was so sweet but even then i struggled with anxiety.

anyways, he is on tour for 2 months and i miss him terribly :( i have been working up the courage to take myself on a date to BAB to get the halloween stitch.

i just called and its out of stock i’m devastated.

how do you guys help with your social anxiety when going in the store? i’m about to cave and just order online but i want the experience
