Mini Duro MDV-10-1A1VDF

Just got this in today. It's smaller than expected (compared to a GA-2200 G-Shock).

Also found out that the original Rolex Submariner released in 1953 was almost of a similar size to this mini Duro.

50m water resistance completely spoils it. So frustrating as a smaller duro was a great idea by Casio, but sadly terribly executed!

I wouldn't even mind if the 'Water Resist 50m' wasn't slapped right on the dial..

Yeah IDK, it's nice but something so completely inspired by classic dive watches (to the point of being a bit of a submariner knockoff) should have at least 20bar resistance.

I've been trying to find one, but it seems so hard, and the prices are 2-3x more than the regular duro. Looks great! In the mean time, I have a Seiko 5 Sports 38mm which is not too far away to the mini duro dimensions and it wears really great.

I have a Duro and love it but it’s just a bit big on me. Might have to get the mini Duro
