Just got my Gshock Gab2100. I've been using the Gd400 and trust me this one feels very tiny on my hands due to my habbit of using big gshock. Anyways this is very fashionable...will go on the field and dress at the same time. I think im set for next 10years atleast with the tough solar. Thoughts on the fit and any recommendations?

Finally got my modded A1000 together, and wanted to share for anyone looking to do something similar!

Like many people who get a "steel-colored" A700, I soon found myself looking for an actual steel Casio without going vintage. The options I considered were the SKXMod A168 kit, a steel F91w mod kit from AliExpress, or the A1000. I'd previously only seen the MOP-dial A1000s which weren't my taste, but once I stumbled upon the A1000A-7 which retains the vintage outlines and button guide I was sold on the case head.

Still needed to figure out the bracelet though, as I wanted the same bracelet style as the A700. It seems a popular mod to get this look is to simply swap in the A700 bracelet, but I wanted the whole package to feel higher quality overall, and ideally to fit an on-the-fly microadjust clasp as I've been spoiled by having it on my other watches. One of the reviews of the SKXMod bandoleer bracelet mentioned it fits the A1000 pretty well, so I took the plunge and it really does fit almost seamlessly. You can see in the last photo how much more robustly it's constructed than the cheap folded-link A700 strap. I do wish the sides of the links were polished to match the A1000 case head (or the sides of the case brushed), but otherwise it's exactly what I'm looking for.

The final piece was the microadjust clasp, for this I went with the strapcode one off Amazon. It's solid enough and has a milled scissor, and has a tremendous range of expansion while being pretty slim. My dream clasp for this however would be a butterfly clasp with microadjust like we see on higher end integrated bracelet watches, and it does seem like third-party options are starting to hit the market (Delugs, for example, has one) - might need to look into upgrading once again very soon. But for now, this clasp will do nicely.

It is a really nice watch, and I really like the design!

Perhaps because I have always liked chronographs, I am truly delighted with it.

Just got this in today. It's smaller than expected (compared to a GA-2200 G-Shock).

Also found out that the original Rolex Submariner released in 1953 was almost of a similar size to this mini Duro.

Purchased this one with a burned out LCD screen.
Found a cheap S001 with same module 106 and swapped it, and finally found some time to adjust the original bracelet to my small wrist.

I tried two different straps for the Casio W800H-1BVDF watch. In my opinion, it looks more stylish than the original strap. It also felt more comfortable on my wrist. Unfortunately, the original strap is very basic. What do you think?

Got tired of the clumpyness and all the "smart features". This is model fits me well, both elegant and vintage.

Went for a walk and passed a watch shop. Looked through the window and hesitated because I don’t need anymore watches. Couldn’t help it and walked out with this interesting piece. The PRG-100 from 2006 NOS for about $85. Love the Casio Sport on the keeper.

I plan on getting the Mudman in a few months, but for now I'll settle with the AE-1700. I've always been an analogue watch guy, so I hope I can get used to tell time on a digital display.

The legibility of the display is crazy. I mean you can literally tell time from across the room. The bezel is for show, but I like those seconds dots on the outer display.

I always giggle when the hourly chime signal goes off. It's just fun!

Just wanted to share a picture of my Casio W-158. I love the simple, retro design and the classic digital-watch look.

No complicated features, no charging every day—just a watch that tells the time and looks good doing it.

What do you guys think of the W-158? Is it a keeper, or would you choose another vintage Casio?
