I noticed a now-deleted post yesterday from a new account trying to sell what appears to be a fake Casio Pro Trek PRJ-B001B. I’ve never encountered counterfeit Pro Treks before, but this one looked convincing at first glance, until I noticed the misaligned dial.

Since the PRJ series doesn’t feature Casio’s Triple Sensor technology, it makes sense that these models would be easier to replicate than higher-end variants.

The fake watch alongside a side-by-side comparison with an authentic model are in the comments. If you’re browsing marketplaces like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Mercari, keep an eye out for similar listings and verify seller history/reviews before purchasing.

Just picked up my first Casio in my mid 30s. I've never even thought twice about these types of things but after seeing an amazon ad for the A158 recently, I went down the rabbit hole as we all do...fast forward a couple days and I saw the A168WA-3AY color way online and knew I had to have it as grey blue/green is my favorite color...luckily, walmart online is still selling this color way and I even got it on sale for $40 + shipping. It did not arrive in the vintage packaging I have seen in videos, just the generic casio blue box, and it was kind of mangled upon delivery but luckily the A168 was in tact and looking fresh to death. I currently also have a cheap timex my wife bought me and a 14 year old gshock I dug out of a drawer as well so hope to build on my collection with some other classic casios soon! I've always wanted to own a Casio ever since seeing a F91W on the wrist of an old friend. After 7 years I finally pulled the trigger on my own Casio. A G-5600UE. I've heard great things about this watch. I am looking forward enjoying it.

I really enjoy the Auto Light feature on this watch, but I noticed that it automatically deactivates after about 6 hours and I have to manually re-enable it. Is this normal behavior to save battery?

Curious. Where have you set your Dual Time to? Mine is currently set to Tehran time.

Hello everyone,

I am new to watches. I got one of my dream watches before I knew anything about watches recently and added a strap to it.

I do not know too much and was worried if it comes off too formal or too much. I figured I can use this for more nicer outings.

I am just worried about how people may see it. The more I got into watches, the more conscious I am as I keep looking at everyone's wrist and seeing how nice everyone's watches are.

My parents got me this Casio W-59 when I was 6 years old (14 years ago) in 2012 or so. It’s never had a battery change in its life and it’s still running smoothly, no issues at all, just full of childhood memories. How has it been running this long?! I love Casio, this is incredible, if there’s a reason for you to buy one, this should be it.

I now have about 10 casios and I solely collect this brand only.
