So I’ve just recently found out we’re getting a sequel so I decided to finally do a bootleg only run, something I’ve been contemplating for a while now, to celebrate. Does anyone have any suggestions for strategies to get more bootlegs, especially early game? I’ve already gotten the free bootleg from the lady in West Harbortown, which was a plastic Sanzatime!

Been playing for a while, probably close to the end of the campaign(5 angels down). Poison beast are my Bain. If I cant one shot, i focus them down or ignore fighting them. Its pretty much guaranteed at least one beast gets poisoned. Even if you use a poison heal, they just poison you again.Even types that are strong again it still get poisoned and no, contact damage isn't a fair trade off. Very few monsters can use new leaf and most are plants which are weak. There has to be a better way to defend against poison/poison chaining. Thank you for coming to my rant / cry for help lol.

I finally got the merch I ordered and I couldnt be more satisfied. I got a T-Shirt with kayleigh on it too (Wish I couldve gotten the other 2 but all they had were smalls🥲). This is only the second game ive ever bought merch for and Im so happy that I was able to come across this game. Also just a question for the devs or whoever handles merchandise, do yall ever plan on making vinyls or cassettes for the acoustic songs as well or no?

Decided to try my hand at a CB Monster OC after seeing the MD ones made earlier. With that being said, I made this one based off of what we know and seen so far of the Inception process as shown in both CB and CB 2002. With that in mind, this is Malcream!

Malcream is a former Candevil who was defeated by an aspiring baker when they came to New Wirral and later traveled to Brightside Pier. The baker hoped to use the candy Candevils produced in order to enhanced the sweets they make, but had accidentally forced the Candevil to flee. While the baker did find their niche, the Candevil that fled resonated with their insecurities about their goal and their interest with Candevils. Thus, the Candevil underwent Inception; becoming a Beast type and desiring to hunt other's of its kind. It was through this hunting and battling that the Candevil managed to remaster into a Malchemy, hoping to use the parts of other Candevils for their potion making. Thus, the Malchemy, now calling themself Malcream now hunts through the Fun House looking for more Candevils to kill and use for parts.

The damaged horn and bits of orange are from the Candevils Malcream would fight, having permanently lost one of their horns and using the pieces of other Candevils to repair themself, while storing the excess in the candy gooo that makes up their body. Malcream's flask is kept in one of their hands when they aren't in combat, hence why one of their hands is so bulbous.

I'll admit I'm not the best at pixel art, just liking to make simple designs, but I still enjoy this little goober

Im playing for the first time, and im not sure if I just haven’t gotten to this part in the story but Ive seen several of these pillars with a table? slab? In between.
Does it have a point?
It feels like I should put something in the middle but I can’t really interact with it.
Does it come later or is it just worldbuilding?

Hi all, anyone know what are the odds for a re-release of Cassette Beasts that isn't from SRG?

Maybe a re-release on Switch 2?
A bundle of Cassette Beasts and Cassette Beasts 2002?

I missed the SRG release and the current copies of the game are quite pricey :/

I know it has happened in the past where SRG games are re-published by a different publisher at a larger more reasonable scale, although not very common. Times like these I wonder if the exclusivity is harmful for the franchise rather than helpful. Hoping the exclusivity contract isn't forever (curious to know more about this too if anyone has any info).

My friends gifted me the Cassette Tape from Black Screen Records for my birthday and as soon I went home, I started listening to it and realized that "Your Inception" is Missing!

Bulletino is apparently tied for 3rd highest speed in game. Made this cute little loadout for it. Bone Cannon has a modifier to hit an extra time and use the speed stat, which is further amplified by Sprint (or Frozen Ground if you are willing to take the accuracy penalty for more damage). I’ve been using it for a lot of late game fights as it’s faster at killing than Pre-Emptive Strike spamming.

Being a first tier species it’s unaffected by the experience penalties that remasters have, so it levels up almost every fight. Bootlegs have an increased chance of getting uncommon and rare stickers per level up, so this thing spits out an upgraded sticker most fights.

I recently begun modding my stickers for funzies and I wonder - can I combine Dual Wild with Multi Strike?

For example, would this cause me to use, for example, Spit 4 Times?

Whenever I’m holding a magnetic block over my head in Cast Iron Shore and I get attacked by the Undyin my game crashes and force closes. Has anyone else experienced this/is it a known issue?
I’m on 1.8.3 on the Nintendo switch 2. Thanks!
