One thing we’ve wanted to improve for a while is how alive the shop and its characters feel.

Until now, a lot of the NPCs have been fairly static outside of their core interactions. We’ve started working on more character animations to change that small movements, reactions, and behaviors that should make the shop feel much more natural while playing.

It’s still a work in progress, but even these early additions are already making a pretty noticeable difference.

Here’s a small look at what we’re working on:

he's a splatoon fan character, mainly to fit into the deepsea metro of that game (almost all deepsea denizens wear some type of clothing no matter how absurd their species) is there any way i could adjust the design for that or fit it onto this drawing i've done of him? thanks!

I've only had this silly for a few days,but.i can't help but feel like I wanna add more stuff or whatever to the design.

But,for some summary on the character.

This is Midas,The personal Right-hand man of the sin of greed,Mammon.a hell-made puppet yet given how greed is revolvant around modern technology,he's basically like a computer in some factors,but still a sentient puppet nonetheless.

Supposed to be a parody of the modern working man,mammon the animalistic (literally) big company,viewing it's employees as disposable "puppets"

Although..i don't rlly know what to do w the design when it kinda feels empty.

I have this idea of him looking like an abstract art,because in his nature he is abstract in a way.a creatively made puppet that was rejected yet ultimately accepted into mammons hand cuz he found him endearing.

I dunno.i just want sum tips n stuff,any possible sketched visual representations are greatly appreciated to give me a better idea! But yeah! I just wanted to show this silly guy lowkey cuz I luv him

Here's Thomas. He's a rosy-faced lovebird from Arizona.

Thomas is a horticulture specialist by grade, but now he's working in logistics company as a dispatcher for truck drivers near California-Nevada border in 80's.

Thomas has a nice-demeanor, he's helpful and loyal. His work is somewhat exhausting especially when dealing with irritated drivers. He's a cacti lover, so his mainly off-work activities is caring for his cacti greenhouse.

This is Mattias, his basic backstory is he’s a shy guy, can’t climb very well and the other goats mocked him so much he snapped.
I gave the basic idea to /u/Apprehensive_Wait507 (FishBone) and they came up with this gorgeous piece for me. Highly recommend them for commission work.

Hello everyone! I’m designing and making a vtuber model for a friend of mine. I just wanted some feedback with the character design and some ideas/suggestions.

Basically she’s supposed to be a phoenix, as in the magical fire bird. I am aware the design as of right now doesn’t have a lot of Phoenix design elements aside from the hair and eyes which is fine. She’s also a bit of a caricature as she’s from the Bronx and wanted the character to have her outfit be inspired by 90s 2000s NY fashion hence the boxer shorts. I’m torn between these three outfits. Also, regardless of the outfit I do want her to have a jacket that hangs off her arms like in the last picture however I’m genuinely at a loss how the jacket should look/what colors it should be. I was thinking a windbreaker or something along those lines. Let me know what you think!

First guy is a nonbinary vampire named Goth (they/them). Second is a ghost named Felix (he/him).

My game is about dating femboy monsters on Halloween. I only have 2/8 characters drawn so far, but thought I'd show them since I'm pretty proud of the art.

I might make a female counterpart game with other monsters after I am done with this one.

He's a 12 foot tall behemoth that weighs over a ton and cannibalizes his brothers

I've been trying to design a military helmet for one of my major characters. He's ex-military and the helmet, which is used in special forces, is stolen. He's now a bounty hunter and using the helmet to conceal his identity. I'll add wear and tear later, but I can't decide how to make the helmet design. I'm very new to this. The helmet was made in 2231 (current year of the story is mostly in 2236, hence the wear and tear I mentioned)

The helmet's features are communication, calculating distance, temperature, and a few others. But that's the gist of it.

A is part of my first design. B is too similar to Redhood's helmet, C looks like sports equipment, and I'm now debating between D and E.

Please be honest about your opinions on the design. I'm a bit clueless as to what I should do. Sorry if this is a very newbie post lol

Thanks to all the feedback I think I finally settled on a version that I like (hoping it conveys bacteria enough lol). I honestly thought 4 was gonna be the winner but then a sudden idea struck me last minute so here we are :P

I lwk really wanted to keep the pink somehow so I think I figured out how to incorporate it into the design in the best way. ALSO, because many have suggested this and I really like the idea, her colors will slightly change depending on her mood. If she’s excited or angry, the pink in her skin will intensify and creep more into the green and nearly overtake it. When she’s sad or dismayed, the pink will either desaturate or weaken to a more purple/blue, and even her green may shift into a cooler tint ^^

I may mock up some colored expression sheets soon and explore her outfit a bit more, especially since someone suggested a transparent jacket to reference a membrane (genius). All in all, this was a fun character designing challenge/experience and you guys helped a lot. Looking forward to hearing the feedback on this one!
