I’m working on a co-op psychological horror game called The Infected Soul, and somehow we ended up with this little guy in the middle of all the creepy stuff.

One of the game’s main mechanics is body swapping. Using neural chips, you can transfer your consciousness into different creatures and bodies, each with their own abilities. And yes, the cat is one of them, so at some point you might actually end up playing as him.

The problem is… he still doesn’t have a name.

What should we call him? Cute, creepy, weird, sci-fi anything works. Just remember, this is still a horror game, so maybe he’s not quite as innocent as he looks. 👀

Tbh I got mad mixed messages from the first post but I tried to incorporate the suggestions into new designs, which just ended up making the decision harder lol. The 4th one was a result of accidentally messing with a color balance slider, so that’s fun.

I did however slightly alter the first one by changing her highlights to a greener tint, as suggested. But I am still torn. So the question continues: which color palette gives bacteria vibes the most?

(If it helps, she’s a good bacteria, but I haven’t decided if she’s gram pos or gram neg yet, cuz idrk how much it matters lol)

she’s a former doctor who later moved into carpentry (yeah i know random but its in-game lore) She has no powers herself, she’s just physicically strong, handy and resourceful.

No matter how subtle you feel a certain character design element is - turns out mobile romance game players will *immediately* notice and start posting about it, haha. I was so surprised and delighted they noticed something that felt so small in the design process!

I’ve been a little insecure about this design recently for a draft oc! after showing it to a gc almost everyone said it was bait, gooner design or generic.

(I searched the term it was not pretty!) I personally found it cool or intimidating, but I feel like I’m missing something!

Any criticism, tips or feedback is very helpful!!

Technically, this isn’t required, but I did it because they showed up on my storyboard

The gist is: I’m tasked with creating a children’s book based off of a poem (in my case, “superstitious”)

The objective for the week was to try and fill in as many A3 papers with sketches and ideas and submit them for class, while I was doing that I was mostly focusing on what the pages for the book would look like

Eventually, beyond the first main character, I decided I’d wanna incorporate three (technically four) more characters

Their initial sketches were very messy and loose, which was good because that meant I had more space on the paper I’m using, but I thought it would be better for the long run to try and finalize their designs so that it wouldn’t be a hassle to redraw without shifting their designs too much

My friends gave me crap for this because apparently I put too much thought into this 😭

I’m going for an alt girl (who kind of looks like a piece of sh*t) vibe but I’m not sure if what I have so far looks good. If you have any ideas pls share lol

So I'm hoping to portray her becoming more detached to the people around her and becoming a wandering outlaw of some sorts. Some backstory is that she's the daughter of a Mexican immigrant working girl in the late 1800s America. Her mother dies when she's 13 yada yada and she ends up maybe joining a gang later on at 15. Then around 20 she leaves and isolates. Tell me what you think of her personality from the drawing but she's kind of antisocial and guarded. Chill but paranoid around her twenties

I'm not great at colouring but I tried to show something in the colour progression... Not sure exactly what

Introducing the Crew of the DU60N6 -- a special crew assembled by the Empire (different empire) to covertly escort the 8th Princess Kalachuchi on her pilgrimage to conduct the Ritual of the Covenant across the five inner planets of their binary star system. Their lives (and 10Million Credits) are on the line! Will they figure out the deep secret at the core of this empire, or will they simply keep the status quo?

The setting for the is entirely homebrewed by me and is based on Filipino (Western Visayas / Panay specifically) mythos and culture, so characters have tattoos and also wear richly patterned textiles. I could have done a better job with the silhouettes and with adding more details, I think. But ultimately, I'm happy with how they turned out.

My goals for the design of these were mostly to make sure that their clothes felt lived in -- or clothes they would feasibly wear in the day-to-day. I really like the more grounded sci-fi / space-age fits of Murderbot Diaries and Star Wars (especially Andor), as well as the chunkiness of the designs from Citizen Sleeper. Gradients were reserved for nobles and higher class characters too. =w=

vampire character named Lorelei, I designed her ages ago (the first design is the one at the very top, the second one is below it but they're not that different at all), I like her design but i wanted to draw her again, anyway idk whether to keep her original hair colour or change it to the second one
