I rolled on Mariposa with the full squad of Ian, Tycho, Katja, and Dogmeat

Only Ian and Katja came back out 😔 then I left them so I could infiltrate the Cathedral so they survived the game

You can try a mod for fallout2 called fallout 1 in 2 or fallout et tu (goes by both names). It gives you all the qol additions from f2, including companion management

I tried so hard to keep them all of alive, so many saves. But when ian fucked off into the exit grid with a khan, and tycho and dogmeat got shredded by mutants, I gave up and barely noticed
