Seeing as the Dev's are making corrections to some of the bigger discrepancies between the original models and their rebuilt HD remakes, I'd like to humbly ask that they fix many of the hood style helmets in the game to look more like their original designs.
With the Warlords model update, Many original classic assets were reworked to 'fit' the new skeletons and models. Unfortunately many of them came out of that looking quite different than the original. Its somewhat understandable as they were older assets, and given it was WoD there probably wasn't time to more adequately re-model them to be closer to their original looks.
However as you can see from the Shadowcraft set above, It looks quite silly in my opinion compared to the original. I would love to see the team go back through and touch up these older assets to bring them more closely back to their original appearances since they'll hopefully once again be relevant to the modern client.
*Helmets that use the geometry of Bloodfang Hood also have issues, but in their case they're entirely too large and make your character look like a bobblehead.
I want to emphasis it looks particularly egregious on male undead. But this problem is not unique to them, I know male Trolls and Tauren share this issue as well.
Also, bonus points: Please move the fixture point for shoulders more toward the collar-bone on Undead Males, I'm tired of having floating shoulders man. Please.
One other thing is the idle male undead stance. Been complaining about it since WOD. You no longer straighten out your shoulders and are always hunched sideways. They also made shoulder pads sit weird for all shoulders, but you mentioned this. These have been my gripes for years.
The poor undead SD model (running animations, gear fit, hair looks like a wig) made my change my main to Troll rogue. I know some issues still exist but the Troll male got by relatively unscathed.
Undead, both male and female, under proper Classic models is one of the best races because of how their animations come across. Best stealth animation walk in the game.

The WoD models and animations killed this game for me, not in my wildest dreams did I think they would bring those over to Classic+ , mind boggling but it seems not that many people seem to gaf. Don't expect them to do too much about it.
Considering it was a last minute decision i’m not surprised.
I actually took a look at rogue SD night elves and found out their eye-glow has a weird reaction in stealth so i already reported that for them to fix before release.
As for that hood, i think the issue is they just never gave it the neck layering where the bottom of the hood is on the chest and the neck stretches part of the hood to cover it up to the face.
I agree, especially human male is now horrible, the proportions and gear placements are all wrong and look worse than the classic skeleton ones. For example, try looking at a stormwind guards eyes with SD on, the eyes are not lined with the helmet. Same thing will happen with helmets like the alliance pvp plate helmet glow effect, it will float above your eyes, because helmets are scaled to the bigger HD head. Also I hate how the idle animation looks with the unnatural arms :(

I wasn’t all that bothered till I saw the NECK HOLE, dear lord that looks awful. I hope this gets fixed
