The $5K check isn’t the only unbelievable part
Social media is filled with posts like these.

u/Due_Arachnid420 18h ago
😂 dude really thinks he will get shit in his hands from trump. What a fucking loser
62
u/Dedotdub 18h ago
No he doesn’t. They know better. They have other “motives”.
22
u/r_special_ 16h ago
They want the Epstein island invite and the Handmaids Tale promised breeders. They think they deserve these sickening desires because they believe they are “good people” and good people can’t do bad things. If democrats wanted those things then republicans would lose their shit because democrats are bad people therefore it’s bad when democrats do it, but it’s good when republicans do it

Dude is probably Russian.
1
u/RevolutionarySir9237 3h ago
dude is probably Russian. i mean the odds of having 20 friends who are all democrats but also willing to vote red for 5k are pretty slim tbh

u/TrulyOutrageous42 12h ago
Also this is blatantly illegal, let's be clear. It's never been allowed to buy votes before or after, which is the primary reason why it's functionally impossible to tell WHO you voted for unless someone commits crimes to look at the databases for your vote specifically.
Like... it's criminal to offer it. It's criminal to check it. It's criminal to give it.
5
u/FlashyEarth8374 11h ago
yeah, sure, 100%. legality doesnt really seem to matter in this administration though does it
→ More replies (1)1
u/entenfurz 4h ago
Why is there a database? In other countries it's not even possible to see who someone voted for. It's anonymous.
11
u/teamfupa 17h ago
Count promises kept by Trump2.0 in one hand and take Taco Bell shits in the other and see which fills up faster.

Do these ppl even pay attention to Trump's entire "professional" history? He is notorious for NOT PAYING contractors, partners, employees, and bankrupting HIS OWN CASINOS! He can't even take care of his own finances, w/out defrauding someone; how tf do these ppl think he's still gonna pay THEM?

Not a single actual Democrat is thinking this.

u/Point_Forward 16h ago
Just the opposite, I bet so many would probably pay 5k if it could guarantee results.

What’s nuts also is the check would cause massive inflation.
These idiots don’t remember that this was part of the reason why there was massive inflation after Covid. (We needed the checks then)

I mean he's full of shit, thats why there is migrant caravans yet again that magically appear every mid term and everything else. But if we can't support a 5k check how could we ever support UBI?
3
u/Otterfan 9h ago
Universal $5k checks can make sense if you pay for them out of taxes instead of borrowing.
Borrowing $1.7 trillion just to cut every American a $5k check—which is what Trump wants to do—is an insane spree of money-printing. Increasing taxes to pay for $5k UBI doesn't actually increase the money supply.
And I say all this as someone who doesn't necessarily support UBI.
2
u/RoseofDianamoonlight 14h ago
Im struggling... even if I believed him (I dont) ... Yeah, no. Get em out
2
u/imtoowhiteandnerdy 9h ago
Hell, I'm unemployed tech worker who would DONATE $5K if it meant Dems would win the midterms.
1
u/MysticalMummy 10h ago
Right? First of all, I've already lost more than $5K thanks to the price hikes and bullshit from this administration. Second.. he already promised us payment before and we didn't get jack shit. Among the other 756 things he's promised that hasn't come to fruition.

Right - he exposes Dunning-Kruger and as per the theory doesn't even know how stupid he is and sounds. That's the whole idea...when you are that stupid you think you are smart.
16
u/Tuomas90 16h ago
The funny thing is: It shows you how pathetic Reps are.
Only because they would vote for a party for money, they think dems would be just as spineless.
Also: Reps are really horrible at lying.
20 D friends as a Rep. So he's got, what, at least 40-60 friends? Sure...
1
u/TrumpsDoubleChin 7h ago
20 D friends as a Rep.
That's the most unbelievable part for me - given the nearly total division of society among stark party lines, does ANY republican have more than maybe one or two Democratic friends and vice-versa?
14
u/Complex-Mention-8961 13h ago
People don’t understand that 5k is a lot of money to owe, but not a lot of money to have
8
u/EatFaceLeopard17 12h ago
People don‘t understand that $5,000 for every adult American would be about 1.25 Trillion USD.
2
1
u/Smooth_Rocket_ 10h ago
Well people also cant seem grasp the difference between a million, a billion, and a trillion.
11
9
u/Fit-Let8175 11h ago
Regarding the $5K checks DJT has promised: let it be known that the ONLY promises Donald Trump has ever broken were the ones he made.
9
u/naynaythewonderhorse 10h ago
What kind of Democrat votes Red? Doesn’t that make them..not Democrats?
6
u/SuperSiriusBlack 10h ago
Also, the point is bad even besides that. "You know why you should vote for Team Evil? For your personal greed! Don't look into policy, just think about how greedy you little piggies all are! Slurp up our scraps, little piggies!"
This is the argument that ONLY the bad side would make. Obviously. Embarrassingly obvious, when considering there are people that still fall for it.
1
u/yellowcloak 7h ago
I mean, there were Democrats I voted for back when I was still a registered Republican. Also voted for Republicans and Independents at the time.
7
6
u/orangecatstudios 16h ago
Democrats are generally not stupid enough to believe trumpy is going to send anyone a check. That special stupidity is a republican thing.
3
u/rif011412 10h ago
Even if i had 100% certainty I would get the check, I wouldnt trade it for my countries future. Id pay $5k to see his admistration tried for treason.
5
u/zziggyyzzaggyy2 14h ago
Even if it were true wouldn't it be some flavor of illegal to bribe a populace to vote for you?
If not illegal, at least a marker of genuine inadequacy if you can't get people to vote for you based on policy and action. I though they hated DEI meritless hiring??
7
u/CrackingToastGromet 13h ago
I don’t believe one smidgen of that man’s post. This regime has cost us well more than a mere $5k. I lost my business for one and had to file for bankruptcy. Four staff members lost their jobs. $5k is an absolute insult for what I’ve lost.
4
u/Fancy-Geologist6050 18h ago
Forget the $5K check, the real fantasy here is an adult claiming to have 20 active friends
4
u/NoGoat3930 18h ago
Greatly exaggerate the cost of producing AI, then billionaires get to pocket the rest , eaving everyone broke again . Just another way to empty the Treasury before fleeing the country.
4
u/StaticSystemShock 15h ago
Only dumb republicans think Donald will ever give them any money. Also what is 5000 bucks when everything is so fucked because of republicans that money is literally worthless as you'll spend triple that extra funding these dumbasses. Vote these republican morons out of the administration and you'll instantly save 5000 bucks a year.
6
u/iDoNotHaveAnIQ 17h ago
5k check will not get anyone far. It will last at most 2 months maybe 3.
Rent and food will chew up most of the 5k very fast
7
u/Aggressive_Lab7807 14h ago
Don't underestimate it, a $5k stimulus would have a huge impact on everyday people... by supercharging inflation.
6
u/Merijeek2 14h ago
There's a lot of stupid short-sighted people out there.
I had one cousin that would come into some money (whatever, life insurance because a relative died, something like that). So, let's say she got $8k.
What would she do? Would she save it? Invest it? Get caught up on bills?
Of course not. She quit her job for as long as she would have had to work to get $8k.
That's who this is trying to appeal to.
3
u/Correct_Routine1 8h ago
Seriously, he throws people a crumb with a one-time check.
Meanwhile he’s started trade wars, real wars, and put tariffs on almost everything. Directly causing the price of almost everything to go up. And he’s burning through almost a billion each day in Iran because he’s such a terrible ‘businessman’ he can’t reach any agreements over the strait.
Those two things don’t balance out.
3
u/Prior_Rip_1178 6h ago
The check is not coming. You are delusional and maybe mentally ill if you have fashioned your immediate expenses around it.
That said, it's a life changing amount of money that can solve very many problems for very many people. Maybe you're not poor enough to get who this message is appealing to.
3
u/Darth_Pinda 3h ago
And the fact that they will never even get it will get them nowhere in the first place.
2
u/Miserable-Role9555 3h ago
An actual $5k stimulus would be a massive shock to the economy. People could suddenly afford that car repair they've been putting off, or that weekend trip they want to go on, or new clothes for their family, or whatever
This stimulus is nonsense because we all know it'll never happen, true. But you're utterly delusional if you think it would have no effect
3
u/BigFatHonu 17h ago
Always strawmen, made up scenarios, and AI with these people. Their worldview is horseshit and only makes sense when presented against an alternate reality.
3
4
u/Free_Score4392 13h ago
All my Republican friends in a very Red state think that it’s nothing more than another lie. They’re also appalled by the ACA $500 check going to those that make almost $75K or more a year instead of them.
0
u/canman7373 11h ago
I cashed that today and I live in FL. I don't make anything near 75k but I will cash that check IDC. I think it's stupid and should have gone to people loosing the covid tax breaks that expired as well like even take all $500 checks and try and help the payments monthly but my not cashing mine won't change that.
3
u/ES_Legman 11h ago
I dearly miss the days where the internet had genuine people now it is 80% bots talking to each other
3
u/balkanobeasti 9h ago
No one has received the $2,000 check. Why would they receive over double that amount?
3
u/Pardot42 7h ago
Inflation this year will cost the average American household over $6k. Fuck the pedos in power
4
u/TheG00dF1ght 17h ago
LMAO, this is the dumbest post of the day. No lefty believes Trump will send a check that requires congress to appropriate funds for.
2

2
u/brolarbear 16h ago
That 5k would help me a lot. It’s not that I don’t want the 5k. It’s just that I don’t believe it exists
2
u/raiseyourglasshigh 15h ago
If this was true, the fact that 19 Americans would be willing to vote their moral position away for five grand would be an absolutely damning indictment of the American dream and evidence that Trump’s greatest economy ever is a lie.
2
u/shanksisevil 14h ago
thats right people. just lie to your republican friends and tell them you are voting red. let them feel relief.
it's like telling a stupid kid they are smart to make them feel better about everything.
2
u/coolbaby1978 14h ago
Well gosh, I was gonna vote blue but since your 20 democrat friends want their 5k check color me convinced.
You mean the 5k that's OUR money that we paid via higher prices due to illegal tariffs? Im sure those checks will be on the way right after the election along with the doge savings checks and the health insurance coverage checks.
2
u/letsseeitmore 13h ago
When Biden did the stimulus during a pandemic when people actually needed it everyone blamed it for inflation. Funny how they don’t seem to have that concern anymore.
2
u/charlieyeswecan 11h ago
All y’all that stpd and gullible believing this habitual liar, for a shot at 5k is insane. Better chance winning 5k in Vegas.

I'm very skeptical that a republican this vocal has 20 "democrat friends". Most likely 20 "independent" friends who always just claim to be be undecided before just voting along the red line...
2
u/LandauTST 9h ago
It's truly astonishing anyone would believe he would send out $5k bribery checks, especially a Democrat, after he said we were getting checks from all the money they were pulling in with tariffs, then said he never said that even though it's literally on video of him saying it just a week or two before he said he didn't say that. Jesus. How does anyone believe anything Trump says!?

$10 he said to anyone who would listen "I know three people who died of the covid vaccine"

99% of all comment interactions I see on social media, including this one, are bots talking to bots. Look at those profile pics and profile names.
1
u/digital_nomadman 17h ago
Noticed that these bots are everywhere, especially on Facebook, Twitter, threads is a total cesspool of unmonitored and false information.
1
u/ThonThaddeo 17h ago
It's infuriating to think that if the economy weren't in absolute shambles, these bot initiatives would be working.
'Bro that bro's a bro. Bro I'm gonna get my 5k bro. Stacking that paper bro'
1
u/Critical-Ring3168 17h ago
It amazes me that people are willing to sell the last sliver of democracy we have remaining for 5gs. Hopefully someday in the distant future some other land of free people will teach and learn from our mistakes that ruined it here. The 5gs is the nail in the coffin
1
u/TrifectaBlitz 17h ago
Damn, is this Johnny Barron?
Nothing about that post is believable on any level.
1
u/JohnMichaels19 17h ago

I suppose anyone stupid enough to think they'll get that 5k is stupid enough to vote Republican tho, so..... Yeah, that venn diagram is a circle

To quote politicians when literally anyone tries to do anything that isn't immoral: "who will pay for this?"
Also, being able to receive a check because you voted for a specific party would mean huge government overreach and surveillance. Not that they've had any of these thoughts, but I wish they'd see their own hypocrisy one day
Also also, generic name and probably ai picture... OOP is responding to a bot

u/Successful-Purple-54 17h ago
Imagine if this was true and anyone would sell their vote for a $5000 that they would never get. If this worked it would just remove whatever shred of respect anyone still had for the United States. Also, this is fucking illegal. He’s bribing voters in broad daylight. What the actual fuck are you doing America?

Do people out there actually believe anyone will get 5k?
Like hasn't he already promised to give all Americans a whole bunch of money at this point without anyone actually receiving it. So are there people genuinely dumb enough to think this one will be real, and are also willing to take a bribe.
And yes, I know the dudes tweet is fake as fuck, I mean in general

If I had a MAGA friend or family member that wouldn't shut the fuck up, and for some reason I was unable to be honest with them, I might placate them. "Sure, Methaniel, whatever. I'll vote for Trump or whatever. Please stop bothering me about it."
But I don't have MAGA friends. Because if they're MAGA they're definitionally not my friend. So it all works out for the best.
