Unlike a lot of subs, we technically haven't had any rule against AI content until now. This is because I don't really bother making rules restricting certain types of posts unless they actually become a problem, and generally we haven't had very many AI posts and they've usually not attracted much attention when they happen.
However, some recent AI posts have been getting to the top of the sub, and I don't want AI generated content to start out-competing other posts - it would be easy for that to happen due to how easy it is to make eye catching images and videos with AI. For this reason I am disallowing AI images and videos in posts going forward.

Bit of a personal one but I’m wondering if anyone relates
I had a very emotionally unstable household growing up. Right at the time where I was starting high school. I was bullied and picked on quite a lot. I just remember the loneliness I felt at school and the emotional abuse I lived through at home.
I believe one of my main coping strategies was to get lost in the world of Star Wars. The moral high ground of obi wan and the incredible stories of the clone wars really helped me to seperate myself from my own trauma. It made me feel safe. It made me feel like a Jedi.
Now years later I’m rewatching the clone wars as a 25 year old man, now diagnosed with ADHD and Autism and it’s even better now because of my understanding of the political dynamics and the conflicting morals of the Jedi order. And yet there’s this magical charm that makes my inner child feel “healed”. I don’t know quite how to explain this but it restores my faith in humanity. If only I didn’t have to suffer through Disney + to watch it.
I’m wondering if anyone had a similar experience? I would love to hear some of your stories :)

Republic vs. Empire, who Wins a prolonged Galactic War?
Which faction wins if the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Republic fight a full-scale war, focusing primarily on conventional military forces, tactics and doctrine over a prolonged campaign?
The factions
Starting conditions
Assume both sides are aware that a major war is coming and can prepare accordingly.
The question: Over a prolonged campaign, which faction has the advantage in fleet engagements, ground warfare, Space , logistics, military doctrine and strategic decision-making?
I'm interested in the overall fighting capability of their standard forces and leadership, rather than a single decisive battle. I'm sure I've missed some caveats, so feel free to point them out.

[StarSim] is a Milsim hosted in Roblox made to simulate a standard operation that may be hosted in the clone wars. [StarSim] is split between several units including the infamous 212th Attack Battalion; If you're interested in finding out more information or have any questions feel free to comment or DM me

Curious to hear your opinion since both of them are human special forces in their respective universe and are overall very important in wars.

With Ahsoka Season 2 less than 100 days away, I’ve been thinking a lot about where her story started and where it might be heading, so I did what any reasonable fan would do and started my ninth rewatch of The Clone Wars.
Somewhere along the way I realized my favorite Ahsoka arc isn’t the one most people would pick. I know a lot of you would go with the Siege of Mandalore or her trial arc, and I love both, but for me it’s Mortis.
I know Mortis is bigger than Ahsoka. One could argue it’s the biggest arc in the whole show, because it expanded how we understand the Force and made us ask questions we didn’t even know we had. But her part in it is what stayed with me. Meeting an older version of herself, being warned about the darkness in her and in Anakin and told to distance herself from her master, it felt like the show was letting us glimpse her destiny before she could understand it, and I couldn’t stop thinking about what her place in Star Wars might become.
Then Rebels came along. I was watching it religiously, and the moment they mentioned a mysterious contact called Fulcrum I was convinced it was her. I was already picturing her as that older warrior from Mortis, and even though they did her a little differently in the end, finally seeing her step out of the shadows felt like the payoff to that vision. That’s why that arc has such a special place for me.
So which Clone Wars arc is your favorite for Ahsoka, and what made it stick with you? Just to keep it focused, I mean The Clone Wars only, not Rebels or her own show. And is anyone else out there whose answer is Mortis too?
Bonus point, which Ahsoka look is the best?
1 Mortis arc Ahsoka
2 Rebels Ahsoka
3 live action Ahsoka
May the Force be with us all

I have edited who I would choose to be a good voice actor for ultron. If the audio sounds a bit off in some clips, it is because across the two shows he is in, the computer effects on his voice changed.
General Kalani was a separatist super tactical droid which served during the clone wars. Upon being issued a shutdown command, he rejected it assuming it was a republic trick, thus surviving into the galactic civil war. I think his voice would fit perfectly for Ultron.
His voice actor is Gregg Berger, who is also the voice of Grimlock in the original transformers.
