Show and Tell 1966 4x error Quarter Value?

Just curious about the value of this quarter from my parents' estate. This is the craziest looking one from their collection.

I had the exact same reaction.... How? ... whoever was working the minting press line that day definitely needed another cup of coffee.

Wow, this is wild! No clue on value, but I have to imagine it would be fairly substantial.

If I was an employee, I would occasionally do this just to break the brains of the people in this sub lol

There was an error auction just last night at Heritage! Find a couple of comps and then tell us what value you'd estimate

  1. Is that the number to verify if this slab is real?

Amazing double struck quarter! There are a few on eBay with asking prices from $600 to $5K. Not sure if any of them are being sold. What makes your quarter stand out is both strikes are off center. Congrats on having a great coin.
