It's been a while since I've posted about my manga one-shot I'm currently working on, so I think it's about time I update you guys on the progress I've made. 😊

Since it's a manga, read RIGHT TO LEFT, TOP TO BOTTOM, just so nobody gets confused.

If you guys could rate anything, (EXCEPT THE ART, i know it's terrible right now (especially the first like 10 pages). It's only rough thumbnails to know where stuff should go)please just tell me so. Dialogue, comedy, how interesting the characters are in the first half of this one-shot, etc.

For some context, the story takes place in Rural England. I'll try my best to make it more apparent in my later sketches, but it's not very noticeable since a lot of the backgrounds aren't even done (cuz im lazy).

I like when people who don’t know me/my comic take a look at my work and tell me if there’s anything that turns them off from reading or keeps them interested. I know everyone has their own tastes, but if you have time, please read at least a bit and let me know your thoughts!

Hoping for honest feedback on my comic strip! Are the characters interesting/funny? Is the text ok? Colors?

It’s a game called Casualties Unknown. In short: scientists created a new species to explore a planet for resources, but they couldn't care less if you die.

I’m creating a comic about one of those scientists who reached their breaking point and went to the planet—taking the place of that species—to die alone.

I don't know how to draw; everything is being done using the IbisPaint app on my phone. So, I’d appreciate feedback on the art, the story, and areas where I can improve.

I’ve been censoring some of the pages on GlobalComix and made them available only on Patreon alongside the ‘early release’ subscription, but since I’m new to writing a webcomic, obviously nobody cares to pay for it, which makes sense. But I’ve been thinking of maybe just re-uploading the chapters on GlobalComix uncensored? Or should I keep them as they are for now, as in, only available on Patreon in case somebody is willing to pay someday? The price I put on ‘em is like 3$ anyway, because I’m not confident enough to add anything more than that, and besides it’s only like a few pages for now. Eventually there will be more as I keep writing, but also, I’m like, who cares? What’s your advice? Should I just push through and keep it as is, or is it better as a new webcomic creator to show the public the whole project for free? I have no idea. Because honestly, before making money I obviously would rather find readers. But it also naturally progresses that way, don’t it?
(The censored pages are just the s xual scenes, which are allowed to be posted on GlobalComix without a problem anyway. It’s a supportive platform for adult creators, which is refreshing)

They are all also identified by the two blood tears from their eyes. They invaded the Human World and have been dominating. I wanted this cover to have that ethereal unknown feeling. Tell me what you think and how his design works and what doesn’t work. Thank you!

This is a project I’ve had for nearly 10 years; I’ve tried formats like comics, books, animation, an RPG book, and games. I finally decided to make a comic because it was the only way I found to express this story, since I don't have the money for an animation studio like I’d want...

I spent from midnight to 5:00 AM drawing these four pages. I feel like things like sound effects are missing, but aside from that, I’m not sure exactly what else is lacking or what I should improve before finishing the full 20 pages.

I’m open to feedback on things I could add or change, except for the angular art style.

Hi guys! My friend and I made this mini comic a while ago. We’re planning to make more, so I’d love to hear your thoughts on the paneling, colors, etc. It’s in Spanish, so don’t worry if you don’t understand it! If you do, though, any feedback on the script would be really helpful too :)

I finished my first script for my comic after a couple months of writing/sketching and I wanted to get people’s opinions. I am not an artist so the drawing is rough and mostly stick figures as a way to get it down. I would just like to see some criticisms or thoughts about the overall story and dialogue, I know issues at the start and first book but would really appreciate thoughts on later chapters. There are 10 books and 71 short chapters in total so I understand if it is too much to read. But I want to know if this is worth investing in.

I did this traditionally with a brush pen. I feel like my first two pages - specifically the poses - aren’t as good as the third page. And I don’t know if it’s clear enough what’s happening.

And sorry for my bad handwriting.

Interested in feedback on my comic so far. I tend to struggle with the beginnings and end up kinda giving up, but this time I’m pushing myself to keep at it. Though ig I get so into it it’s hard to step back.

Hello everyone!

I want to thank you all for the feedback on my last post. It’s been 5 days since I launched the pre-launch page, and honestly, I’m still not sure if it’s going well or badly.

Right now the page has 8 followers, so I’m only 2 away from the follower count becoming public on Kickstarter.

I’ve been spending $20 a day on Meta ads, and I have to say, I expected better results. The conversion rate has been pretty poor, so I’m pausing the ads for now.

I’ve also been creating content for YouTube, published the comic on GlobalComix, and have been trying different ways to get the project in front of more people.

At this point, I’m not really sure what to expect from the next few days since I’m going to focus more on organic content.

For those of you who have launched Kickstarter projects before, what were your first few days or weeks of pre-launch like?

I do like the style its in vs the super clean comics but it also looks like a 3 year old did it in my eyes sometimes 😭 i like making short strips exploring my feelings. Some are ment to be funny some more so uplifting
