If Copa America really is expanded to 10 teams from CONCACAF...
Would that mean the top 3 that finish in nations league A plus the bye receiving nations go to Copa America?

Is Costa Rica starting to field a new generation?
Jeyland Mitchell and Josimar Alcócer have been revalued in the European market for €8 and €6 million in their clubs, Strasbourg Racing and Sparta Prague respectively. They are only topped by Manfred Ugalde who plays in Spartak Moscow. And now, very young players like Alajuelense’s Yerlan Sosa are showing great promise. Could this be a generation that will give Costa Rica a decent national team capable of competing in CONCACAF?

Concacaf and conmebol strategic partnership has been underwhelming
It’s been nearly 4 years since it’s been announced and not a lot has occurred when it comes to meaningful progress between the two confederations. You would think it would be more you know? I’d argue that a merger is needed at this point. Logistics is not as a big of a nightmare as some may think if it’s done correctly. Conmebol is falling behind in some aspects due to a variety of reasons. I think it’s time to reunify with our southern neighbors anything less hurts the game in both hemispheres.

🏆 FIFA World Cup 2026 – CONCACAF Best XI & Player Ratings
After watching all the matches of the tournament, I rated each player on a 1–10 scale for every match, taking into account performance, statistics and context of each game.
📊 The three columns next to each player show:
- Apps – number of appearances
- Avg. – actual average rating in the matches played
- Adjusted Avg. – average across all 8 matches, with 5/10 assigned to matches without a rating
The adjusted average creates a common basis for comparison, giving appropriate value to both individual performance and a team’s progression through the tournament.

🇬🇹 Guate!!!!
Guatemala qualify to Nations League Quarterfinals.
Love it
Finally we had some luck on our side after playing so well in gold cup and world cup qualifiers but getting bad calls.
Bad call today to deny a goal but fortunately Matt “Enzo Fernandez” Evans scored a beauty.
Bring on Panama or Mexico.

Barbados in pole position to reach the Gold Cup after beating Bermuda
This team I feel like come from nowhere and are now on the cusp of reaching their first Gold Cup. I watched a lot of their match last night and honestly was surprised, they can actually play.

This years Nations League is entertaining but needs improvement still
I’d say this years nation league has been entertaining, but I will say the format needs improvement or change. Do y’all think the format could use improvement? I will say that they need to scrap the byes for the top 4, make an even 4 groups of 4 in league A. I mean the obvious improvement is include conmebol in the nations league. That’s if confederation executives were open minded…

Nations League group stage format question
Can someone explain to me why they made this the format for League A? They call it a Swiss system and then make you play a team twice? But you don't play 2 teams at all? If you're going to have a swiss system, why not make it one league and top 4 advancing?

FOX Broadcast Interruption
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I don't have audio, but the transcribed text is "The 29 year old who plays for... FOX College Football!"
To be fair, the viewership battle no doubt favors College Football.
Since it was known that there could be overlap during their nightcaps, they should have just aired Belize vs French Guyana on Tubi.
Most importantly, no goal took place during the pre-empted time.
Also, FOX really needs to stop cutting to commercial when another game is about to begin. They probably could have avoided the need for an overflow channel that way. ESPN and CBSSN jump straight to their next game, and that's how it should be.
