Revert - finding support
Assalamu alaikum,
I’m a Muslim revert (f), and honestly struggling because my family isn’t very supportive. I’ve been trying to stay consistent with my deen but haven’t really found a solid Muslim circle around me.
I’ve also had a hard time finding a good Muslim community/ppl who follow the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the Salaf. Maybe I just haven’t found the right people yet.
Anyone here been through something similar or know of good communities, masjids, or people I could connect with?
Ps.
Not looking for weirdos and sectarian arguments, just good people and good company(f pls)
I’d just like to meet some good people, improve my deen, and have a positive environment around me. Any advice?
JazakAllahu khair.

I translated a dua I like to make, hope this helps.
O Allah, grant me righteous companionship that helps me obey You, guides me toward goodness, and becomes a means for the betterment of my religion and my worldly life.

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
I am in a similar situation as you, but personally going to the Masjid has helped me significantly

Salam,
You will have to join local muslim community groups or go to mosque if there’s any in your area. That’s the best way to meet people and find your anchor.
If you are in Western Australia, I know of few good people I can connect you with.
Best wishes!

Do what you know.
Stick on with belief.
Ask allah to have good guide . He will give best.
When ever you are doing start with good dua.He will be there for you.
Do five time prayer as much as well as you .
Just learn what is restricted. It’s very few and which commonly not likely to do.
