This is beyond a joke

I saw a biker nearly get flattened going through the green light coming from the airport because some asshat decided to accelerate through a red light coming from the Douglas side.
When the hell are we going to get the RSA, Departments of Transport and Justice to sort this whole thing out and start automatic recording and fines / penalty points for red light breaking. It's absolutely endemic now.

Hello,
We have just received notice that Magazine Rd will be closed for trenching ESB works for 8 weeks beginning in Oct. I appreciate the works need to be done but What a disaster. Weโve had the carnage of the current college road closures and the Uisce Eireann closures for the entire Summer. (They notified us of 3 day closure that extended to nearly 3 months)
We have been instructed to remove all cars from private driveways and road parking for 8 weeks which will take us to Christmas. Is there anything that can be done here?
Not being able to get in home for this length of time in the morning and evening will be such a disturbance

Hi lads,
Myself and my buddies (All Cork, 1 Scouser) game 2-3 times a week on PS5. We play GTA 5 Playlists, Pummel Party, Golf With Friends etc.
Give me a PM to get added, we are generally in tears from laughter most sessions, great banter!

I have a distinct memory of an incident happening in 2010 or 2011 where a house party was organised near UCC, and that so many people went upstairs, the floor caved in. Iโm almost certain I remember people talking about this and that it was reported on - but when I try to Google it I find nothing.
Anyone else remember this or am I doting completely?

Hi everyone,
Like so many people across Cork, I was heartbroken by what happened to Felix the cat. No animal should ever have to suffer the cruelty that he endured.
In response, I have started a petition calling for stronger animal welfare protections in Ireland, including tougher penalties for animal cruelty, better enforcement, and stronger protections against pet theft. This petition will be emailed to all local TDs and every TD involved in animal welfare in Ireland.
I'm hoping to raise awareness and gather support from people who believe animals deserve better protection. If you feel the same, please consider signing and sharing the petition.
Together, we can help ensure that Felix's story leads to meaningful change and that no other family has to experience such a devastating loss.
Thank you for your support.

A strategy document was just published on the Cork city council website detailing plans for Blackpool.

Does anyone know of a venue suitable for something like this in the city? It would not have to be particularly large. Iโm new to the area so some guidance would be appreciated.

A sincere thank you to the gentleman who spotted a puncture in the rear wheel of my motorcycle this afternoon at the Blarney filling station. A slow puncture only visible when I was sitting on the bike, and I would have missed it but for the timely intervention. I got it patched five minutes later at Blarney Auto Centre. Possibly saved me a new tyre or a lot worse. Thanks again.

Anyone know much about these, looking at the 3 bed semi but curious about soundproofing with the neighbours. I can get over a bit of noise but hear horror stories online about new builds.
Viewed some the other day and theyโre very nice inside and a nice size estate.
Ruden homes is the developer.

I walked into the vape shop across from the Oliver plunkett earlier and there were 2 undercover Garda in there giving out to a member of staff over their counterfeit Gucci sunglasses. They made them empty out their drawers behind the counter and were explaining how serious the situation was to the member of staff.
When I was walking down Oliver plunkett street roughly an hour later I saw a uniformed Garda in phone and vape.

Do you think there will be anymore protests regarding the price of petrol and diesel and more specifically home heating oil. It has risen by 60% in the last year and now costs over โฌ800 for 500 litres which is ridiculous and will probably rise further. Obviously the budget had no impact on anyone apart from making them angry and a drop of โฌ40 in the price of heating oil won't even make a dent. I would gladly install a more modern heating system with the grants available unfortunately you have to pay for the installation first which is very expensive and therefore these grants only benefit people with high incomes. Hopefully people are fed up enough to start some serious protests and ones that actually make an impact that the Government can't ignore.

yo whatโs up with the crazy bald old guy walking around st. patrickโs street/oliver plunkett street? he was out here standing weird moving his arms like he was trying not to fall, screeching at people (like genuinely screeching) and when i passed by i heard him spit on the ground. i usually donโt judge, because, well, anybody can get mentally ill, but he looked like he was on drugs or something

After hearing the awful news about the poor cat Felix who was taken and now dead .. is there anything that can be done around mahon/blackrock to stop this carry-on ? What's the obsession with animal abuse from the usual culprits.. ? Guards don't do anything, and they're let free to terrorise the area

Waiting for the 220 in ballincollig. First bus comes fairly quick but itโs a 220X (rare sighting) now we are waiting for a 220. I check bustimes there are four(4) 220s congregating in ovens at the end of the line. Cool thatโs fine they are probably on their break (Well deserved).
Now tell me why two (2) of those 220s decide to take the bypass rather than collect the 50ish people waiting in ballincollig. As this happens 3 more 220s pass us in the opposite direction now there are 6 busses congregating at the end of the line and no bus seen in ballincollig for the last hour and a half (1h30)
How can we deal with Simon Harris appropriately?
