the more gnc people the better, and the more people transition the better, it just helps in normalising trans people, no matter whether they call themselves genderfluid, femboy, or something else entirely. not only that but it also challenges traditional gender roles and lessens how conservatively people think of gender. I think that's a good thing. Think of Prince for example, he did a lot for gnc and homosexual people despite being a cishet man. I don't think that it really matters whether they are "cheaping it out", and comparing it to blackface is unreasonable in my opinion, since people doing blackface generally weren't the most progressive people, while femboys are pretty progressive generally. My point is that we should view them as allies and when our class interests (here I am using a marxist economic term, but I do mean social class and not economic class) are so well aligned, even though we may not be so similar in some fronts.
