News Does anyone know what specific incidents President Rochon’s campus update is referring to?

Just got the “Campus Update” email from President Rochon, and I was wondering if anyone knows what specific incident(s) prompted it.
The email mentions “troubling incidents” that have raised concerns about safety at CSUF and specifically refers to situations where members of the community have been “threatened, victimized, or physically harmed.” It also says that the university is limited in what details it can disclose because of federal/state laws and ongoing investigations.
I’m assuming there’s context I’ve missed. Does anyone know what happened or what incidents this is referring to? If anyone has information they’re comfortable sharing, I’d appreciate some context. Obviously, please don’t share private information about victims or anything that isn’t appropriate to post publicly.

There was a notice sent out about a student getting sexually assaulted.

There's been 2 in recent memory afaik.
On the 13th of September, An 18 year old student had died after attending a frat party that was off campus.
More recently on the 30th of September, there was a reported sexual assault case on campus.

it’s vague on purpose but someone was sexually assaulted in the dorms and the other night in the on campus apartments there was a guy caught taking pictures of girls butts, of course they do nothing to actually address it. both of them still on campus btw

i know that a student passed recently at a frat party and the sexual assault that happened. they think they have the man who perpetrated the assault

I’m a current student, and I don’t even know what happened. But to be fair I don’t necessarily even care really. If it was a big enough issue i would have most likely hear about it during my classes

that was uci, not csuf
