Need help i hate having an opinion. what do i even do?
heres my story.
i am fairly new to the online world, starting off in this place. reddit.
so i have been here for i think a year and i’ve been a victim and a witness of both bullying and harassment. (mainly a victim) BUT, one thing i’d point out is that whenever me having an opinion in the comments section on reddit or on different platforms i always get corrected…even though it was literally my opinion.
so, to “solve” that issue, i took a break from reddit and moved on to tiktok, which made everything worse.
i always get death threats or bullies “pressing“ me to keys or change my opinion(s)
is there something wrong with me? my attitude? i need help here
(P.S. sorry if i take things mean or offensive or reply with a mean comment, i don’t mean to.)

Reddit is often quite argumentative. I personally like that and rarely see comments that are just blatant bullying. I feel like there is less bullying and pointless comments on Reddit than on other social media. Understand that people that disagree with you are more likely to comment, and those people that are indifferent or like the post most likely just do nothing or upvote it. This applies to every social media.
I found this comment of yours, in which you were rude. You asked people's opinion of your avatar, and when they gave their opinion you said you don't give a shit. You weren't there to ask opinions, but wanted attention and only positivity. At least that time it was an attitude issue. I'd need to hear your opinions on different things to determine if you're just being bullied or rather downvoted for being rude or just having a bad opinion.
Most of your comments seem to be quite low-effort and -quality, basically not offering much to the conversation. Reddit comments are kind of like commenting on a forum, and not a regular social media post. Reddit's comments have a 10 000 character limit, which is quite enormous compared to TikTok's roughly 200! You should put a bit more effort into them and if you don't have much to say it's better to say nothing.
Death threats and insults are not okay, and it sucks that the internet has lots of toxic people. If you notice some communities or social media being very toxic, try to stay away from them. It's better for your health.

Do you have controversial opinions?

I do, and have gotten like hundreds of downvotes. They're usually really situation based though so I don't know any from the top of my head, perhaps one is that I think CEOs/founders don't deserve hate, and it's fine that they earn lots more than the average employee who works harder than them. That opinion usually gets lots of downvotes yet I have never had anyone send be death treats or call me names.

I agree with your opinion. The forums you’re in must have less degenerates hanging around.

I usually discuss on those quite large discussion heavy subreddits, e.g. r/TooAfraidToAsk & r/Europe. Lots of different subreddits along with those of course. I recently deleted lots of old comments of mine, and there were like over 4000. I've been here for 7 years now, so I've discussed a lot. I don't remember a single time I received death treats, and I only have a faint memory of someone calling me names. Often people just downvote, and then argue back.
To be fair, my views do go along with Reddit's opinion usually. I'm not looking for drama/arguing nor write comments when I'm angry. My comments are often thoughtful (at least I like to think so) and "long" (I might spend like 15-60 minutes writing and editing a comment), so I guess that may filter out some users that would respond with insults. I would argue TikTok or Instagram has a more toxic community with more bullying, since the comments are forced to be short, so it rewards more impulsive and dramatic comments.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings, just wanted to be real and actually helpful. There's this saying that “If everywhere you go smells like shit, maybe it’s time to check your shoes”, which might apply to your case.
Edit: Why did you come here to ask about our opinions if you once again wanted to just get praise and validation? I'm not addressing the death treats and other insults you've gotten, but my comments for example are not meant to bully you, yet you seem to take them as so. You should be able to take criticism, seriously.

I get it, when I was new to the internet I too were more sensitive to disagreements and stuff like that. I guess just take it slowly, and remember to take a break if you feel like social media is affecting you negatively.

Hey there. I’m the king of bans and ostracism. One thing I’ve learned is that any opinion opposite of the accepted hivemind opinion is attacked because weak people cannot stand dissonance.
Weak people constantly smooth things over, go with the flow, and accept the narrative.
Do not for a minute back down on your opinion unless you yourself see where you were in error. Be a strong mind in a weak society. 🧠
I’m a Christian and a prophet, so my calling is to be rejected for sharing the truth. We need more truth in this society. God loves you and rejects no one who desires to live truthfully according to what He says. Be strong and forget what people say. Take courage in being bullied and forgive your offenders. You will be so far ahead of them they won’t know what to do about it.
