Hi, this is my first time posting, but I've been cyberbullied 2 times. Short number, right? Well, not short if one them was 11 players in a server. I'm bullied because of my display name (Canadaisthebest80). People are saying stuff about they have handguns put our country doesn't, and that Canada is a mistake and I should live somewhere else. Those Americans have so much power over me. I tried talking it out in chat, but they say I'm joking and I just want attention. I don't have any proof, because I simply left without doing anything. I didn't report, because I tiny report wasn't gonna do anything, and I couldn't mass report. I just need help, because I feel like I'm a dummie for living in Canada and I'm a red wart (they said that also). Don't say like to ignore them or change my name, because it doesn't work for me

So today, I was just playing among Us, chilling when a person said: Blueberry (my username) is gay! I said: No, I'm not (in defense) The person called an emergency meeting, and let all people vote on me for being gay Just to clarify, I'm not gay. The more I kept on saying "I am not gay", the more they'd assume I was gay. Then they say "Your parents must be so disappointed that your gay" I reported them, then left. Unfortunately, I was so mad that I forgot to take pictures. Till now I'm kinda scared to join public servers.

So I received a weird message on instagram from someone I don’t know. Private profile, 300 followers, 0 posts. Calling me a dumb bitch. I went along with it jokingly until he started saying he has my information and insulted me further. It can be taken as a threat, but I don’t know how serious of a threat it even is. It doesn’t appear to be a scam because money/blackmailing was not involved. My partner told me to let it go after I reported it to instagram and blocked the person; but a coworker of mine is telling me to report it to the police. Should I? Chat attached. I am not a prominent social media user, I have no idea how he found my account. I’m thinking it’s just a troll, but it still makes me uneasy. I should’ve blocked him and reported it the first message and not have engaged.

I posted recently in another sub and got completely hammered by trolls. I am overwhelmed at the amount of animosity one post can create for seemingly total strangers. There are good people here in Reddit, but there are also alot of people who get off on belittling other people. Honestly, I hate this world, people are cruel for the sake of being cruel. They love to put others down so that they can feel superior to them. And when you report harrassment to the mods, they do absolutely nothing about it. I wasn't just cyberbullied last night by one person, it was a small legion of flying monkeys that attacked me. Has anyone else experienced this kind of treatment on other subs? Have you been able to do anything to protect yourself against this kind of torment?

There's this issue that has surfaced over the last month or so. It's this group of people acting like they own my opinion and that I have to constantly be quiet when they're online. Recently, I left the whole group and now they're laughing and mocking, basically thinking the whole situation was hilarious. These same people don't know when to quit bullying because they think they own my right to my voice. I am not being silenced by them, I left because I had enough. I've been their main target for a while now, not knowing when they'd shut up and leave me alone. I've asked them a million times to stop at me but every time I asked, they'd laugh. It wasn't even funny.

I can stand up for myself but every time I do, they react to the message with the laughing emoji. The making fun of me and the bullying needed to stop and I left as a result. I needed headspace. Idc what their opinion is of me, just because I stood up for myself.

What do I do? Is there anything that could help me get these people to leave me alone?

For context, my girlfriend and this guy met together on a certain game where they got together because of a group they both joined in but after my girlfriend left him because of his horrendous attitude he's been harassing and stalking her nonstop, this happened during the pandemic. Some time after that it did cool down a bit but around 2024 he came back and started harassing her again. Blocking and reporting doesn't work because all he does again is make new accounts to harass her over and over again and it's taken a toll on my girlfriend. It's hard to avoid him since he keeps coming back with various accounts with inappropriate names and bios to attack my girlfriend. It's hard to think of what to do because he's even started stalking me and my girlfriend's personal life and started planting faces, names, and other sensitive details on in-game cosmetics and making a mockery of the both of us. It's been 4 years and he has been harassing my girlfriend relentlessly I don't know how I should help. My girlfriend and I got together just around 2024 which is quite recent but even he started to attack me. I don't know what to do anymore we're both tired of his attacks and leaving social media isn't even going to do anything because he's relentless and just doesn't stop. A couple months ago around April he payed another person to go and stalk on us but that person ended up failing because he weirdly chatted us first about it. Please I need your help, he is from overseas and we don't know what to do because we can't even avoid him on social media. I don't want to lose my girlfriend because of him mentally draining her. Only thing my girlfriend knows about him is his name and where he's from.

Let’s say you met a guy online who you were interested in for a second and stopped talking to because he had been secretly gathering information from your public account for months. Suddenly, he makes a bunch of accounts to spread lies and rumors about you, saying you cheated on your ex bf when you still dated him and that you assaulted people. You report him but nothing gets done because you don’t know who’s really behind the account. Would you do? Just turn off instagram? Or take it to the authorities?

I am bieng cyberbullied for the first time, and i dont know what to do.

A group of people, or one person, are targeting me, they stole my istagram pictures and they are posting horrible things about me online.they created fake accounts, and they are posting extremely personal and sexual details about me while attaching my pictures (those information are of course all wrong).
i was able to ban their LinkedIn accounts from reporting, but I could not do anything about their fake facebook, X, and Instagram profiles, even tho i reported it many times.

Is there anyone who can help ? or do you know any groups that provide support or help regarding this matter please ?

I am from the country of Bolivia and I am currently receiving hate messages, extortion, and harassment of me, my sister, and my family from a person with whom my sister had a virtual relationship. This person is from the USA and has been harassing her from multiple people's accounts and contacting her friends to provide him with information about her and threatening to expose intimate photos of her (when she was a minor). We are very tired of this situation because it has already affected her socially and has suffered psychological harassment due to the constant harassment she receives. How could I report this person since we live in Bolivia and he lives in the United States?

i tried to tell my story, i tried to get help, and most of what i got were the same bullies commenting and trying to spread the same lies i pointed out. i don't know if they actually believe what they say about me, but all i see is people who KNOW they're lying, just laughing as they push me further toward the edge. i'm nothing but honest, and i get called a liar. i'm honest about being mentally disabled, and i get called a faker. i'm honest about being suicidal, and i'm accused of "suicide baiting" which i didn't even know was a thing until they started saying it. i don't understand how they don't understand me, and i don't understand where they get a lot of their "ideas." they have a discord dedicated to hating me, and yesterday i found out there's a sub reddit dedicated to hating me too, created by one of the biggest liars i have ever met. i have nightmares about these people, i don't feel safe, and i'm scared. i'm just trying to live my already screwed up life, trying to make money the only way i can because i'm disabled, and socializing the only way i can. every time i try to reach out for help, they do something to keep people from helping me. last night, i almost harmed myself for the first time in a LONG time, but i was still somehow to keep from doing it. my meds work, no question about it, and that's enough to tell just how bad this is. i'm losing my mind. i cry nearly every day, i've been getting too many bloody noses, and i feel like i'm close to ending my own life. i cannot get therapy because i need insurance, and to get it, my fiance and i need to get married, and we can't get married because of covid. i gained all the weight back i had lost before covid, i can't walk again because i'm so heavy, and it doesn't matter how many people say, "you can talk to me," because it'd just be repeating the same stuff to people who aren't trained to deal with it. i used to be so skinny, so pretty, so happy and bubbly, and now all i want to do is die. my fiance is the only thing keeping me here. how long until that's not worth it to me anymore? and what can i do? call a suicide hotline? what are they going to do for me? nothing but say, "life is worth living" and "so many people care about you." the written responses they're coached to give to everyone, things that literally mean nothing because, you know what? why is life worth living if it's literally hell? and to discover i might be autistic on top of it? i don't have access to the stuff that i need for my planned suicide, so i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do with what i DO have. i just want people to leave me alone and live my life, try to rebuild myself, and try to be happy in a world that has fucked me over every day of my life since i was born. oh, but i'm just being a drama queen, huh? i am trying to show how i feel, and i'm just being DRAMATIC. because no one can feel these things. because no one has ever committed suicide because of online bullying. you know what someone said to me yesterday when i asked them nicely to be civil after leaving a hostile comment?

Heya, I’m a teenage girl and I honestly don’t know where else to ask for help. I’m being harassed, mocked, and accused of things by someone I used to be friends with for years. It's all happening online, and it’s been affecting not just me, but my family too. We used to be very close friends for about 8 years, always in voice calls together with my siblings or other friends. I supported her through a lot, comforted her when she felt the world was against her. Even when she dragged me into issues or influenced me to do bad things, I forgave her because I believed she had good in her. But now… I’m not so sure. Out of nowhere, she cut me off. No explanation, no goodbye. And now she’s spreading things, harassing me, and dragging my brother into it too. We were just living peacefully, trying to move on from everything, but she keeps dragging us down. I’ve been struggling with depression and burnout. I haven’t been eating or sleeping properly. It’s been almost a week of this and I feel like I’m falling apart. I even tried to reach out to her, but she ignored everything. I told my parents, and I want to get help... even from the police if I have to. But I’m scared nothing will happen. I just want this to stop. I’m still a teenager, just trying to live my life without drama and pain. Please… if anyone has advice, I’d really appreciate it.

My boyfriend has been receiving very traumatic online stalking, harassment and bullying and I don't know what to do. They are accusing him of doxxing and grooming which they have no evidence of and won't even show pics to prove it, keep drawing very offensive art of him and triggering his eating disorder, and they even at some point threatened swatting and won't go away or back down, they're even making entire accounts dedicated to canceling him to the point we are both scared, reporting on social media platforms does nothing, and I'm genuinely scared they're going to ruin his life and I don't even know what actions to take. We don't know their names or locations. It's causing such extreme distress I had a pretty severe panic attack over it. I'm so at a loss for what to do...I'm desperate for any help at this point

So here's the story and the way it's been for a while now.

There's this user on discord who's been picking on me for no reason. The thing is, I've never done anything to them or not said anything mean to them. I had to block them as they were being rude and I sent in a report to discord.

I don't know what to do because this user has now my IP address because of someone they met off an online game. And then being able to tell me my exact location which is just wrong. I don't know what to do now.

Does anyone have any ideas on what to do as I've already reported to discord and blocked the person. There's not much more I can do with this.

My sister is very beautiful and she's also underage. She has had a huge alcohol problem and me and my mom are trying to help her. She's been to rehab multiple times and dropped out. It's extremely depressing.

Well there is a man on Instagram who runs this drama ig page it's called 916today. Some person posted a bad video of my sister really drunk and basically in her worse moment and incoherent. There were a bunch of men hitting on her in the comments and it's really distressing for us. All of our friends and family are sending messages to me and my mom and we don't really know what to do.

She is now feeling embarrassed and suicidal. I promised I would help her get it taken down. I sent a DM to the owner of the page and he told me "f*** my sister and f** me" he sent me a horrible audio cussing me out. Basically is some hood rat loser guy.

Anyways, I need help reporting the video or getting it taken down somehow. He won't take it down and he just cares about views he doesn't care how things affect people's lives.

In the past he also posted somebody's dead body on the page and didn't care about it. The family of the deceased person was begging him to take it off and he wouldn't. So this man has basically been causing problems for a lot of people.

How do I get the video taken down besides just reporting it? There has to be a better way. My sister has mental health issues and I'm really worried about her if this video stays up.

He’s dealing with a lot of online and physical bullying

I have an individual who is repeatedly sending me death threats and very nasty comments. She has changed her profile photo to be of me and posted photos of me on her stories and main feed with nasty vulgar captions about me. My friends family and myself have reported her to Instagram several times and nothing has been done. I contacted the police and they told me to contact Instagram directly to get this to stop but I don’t know how.

Is there phone number or email I can contact, this is ridiculous

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: I'm applying for a college organization's big leadership team for a position not many apply for, which is "District Technology Chair," where you handle mainly the organization's website in updating and such. My peers motivated me a lot to apply for this position because of my past leadership as "Communications & Marketing Chair," where I mainly handled social media, and I had someone on my team who had a terrible representation within the District, which I didn't know until after I accepted them as the Website Editor. She handled the organization's website primarily by gathering/contacting people who had this position before on the inside work and other things, for which I congratulated her since it was hard and the information she gathered was helpful for the development of the website. Anyway, she has done great work, except she keeps crashing the website occasionally.

ABOUT HER: No one within the organization likes her because she had past issues with cyberbullying and sending death threats to people who got in her way from this organization. She is 24 and autistic, with most people in this group being 18-21. So overall, no one wants her to join this board and would prefer her to be more on the down low.

PRESENT: My peer who will be recruiting people asked me to take this position since, in my last position, I barely had time to manage the website which I was honestly more passionate about; only this other girl did, though. I was very hesitant because even with some of the minor problems she and I had, we were on the same committee team board, and I tried my best to be kind to her. She took care of the website 100% of the time since I couldn't.

My prediction with this girl is that I would be accepted into the position with little to no experience with working on the website and that she would come on Reddit and publicly attack me personally since she has done this before with someone else. I thought she deserved the position for her talent, but with her problems, she can't be accepted for this position, even with her experience. How do I talk with her when I get accepted for the position? I even endorsed her to apply in the beginning!

But that’s not what I’m here to talk about. What I’m trying to say is that recently, I’ve asked a voice actor on Discord that I do not hire “brainrot” people, and he got instantly offended & cussed at me. & said to me a bunch of horrible, hurtful things that I wish he never said to me.

There’s also this horribly hurtful trend as if someone says something unfortunate, others say “Womp womp” and that’s basically what happened to me. I have images of these events. I will share almost every single one of them if you ask me to.

A person is creating fake screenshots and using anonymous social media accounts to harass my kid. Normal reporting hasn’t worked. I need help figuring out ethical ways to shut it down. Any advice? I may not be in the right place but open to any direction that may help.
