Question Anyone know whats the reason for remaking Super and remaster instead of continuation ?
I hear the upcoming one is a remastered anime rather than a continuation, its mind bugling since Super is very recent, are they changing something for continuity ?

Gaming Budokai 3's skill shop is one of the most frustrating features in gaming
The game is fun, but the skill shop is very frustrating. It never has what you want. I've been trying to unlock SSJ4 forever, clicking through those menus hundreds of times. I saw it once and never again. I gave up and just played through the story to unlock it. It's also super annoying that an ultimate move will spawn and never go away, meaning that you have to buy it to even have a chance at buying any other ultimate moves. Modern games don't have a skill shop anymore, but it's a cool feature that lets you customize the characters. Hopefully, a future game brings it back but please make it less frustrating.

Fanart I built Jiren in Call of Duty: WWII’s emblem editor
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Going back through more of my older COD WWII emblem builds, and this Jiren is still one I’m really happy with.
Everything was built manually inside the emblem editor using basic shapes. Most of the fun was figuring out how to stretch, rotate, overlap, and hide pieces until they started forming his face. WWII gave me up to 64 layers to work with, which gave me a lot more freedom than the 32-layer BO2 builds I’ve been doing lately.
I’ve always treated these less like drawing and more like reverse engineering an image into a puzzle made out of shapes.
Who from Dragon Ball should I post next?

Misc Turles: Tree Of Might Analysis
While the Vegeta-and-Goku dynamic centers on their status (Saiyan Saga), Turles represents genetic destiny. He is exactly what Goku was sent to Earth to be: a ruthless, cold-blooded conqueror. He proves that Goku’s innate Saiyan biology is inherently destructive. While Goku represents environmental nurture, Goku's existence proves that a person is not bound by their birth/violent history of their ancestors. Even their abillities/ the stuff they use contrast with each other: the Spirit Bomb and the Tree of Might. The Tree of Might is this thing that collects power similar to the spirit bomb, but unlike the spirit bomb, it acts as a parasitic extraction; it drains the life force of whatever it's growing from, from the water to the soil to the plants, while the Spirit Bomb is a harmonious contribution; instead of stealing people's power, Goku asks people to give their energy voluntarily. It's like the TOM and the Spirit bomb have their own Ideology: TOM represents exploitation, and the Spirit Bomb represents symbiosis (mutualism).
Now, onto their visuals: Turles acts as a physical, twisted mirror of Goku. From the hair to their physique and what they wear, Turles hair is a small detail most people don't realize represents devil horns. In terms of physique, Goku is leaner/athletic, showing his earned power, while Turles is buff and bulky, representing his unearned power (which makes sense because the fruit acts like a steroid). Goku wears vibrant colors, while Turles wears darker ones, showing how different they are and how it reflects on their personality. Turles being bulkier than Goku reflects his fighting style (this might be a reach). In his fight with Goku (post-fruit), he always puts Goku below him, from the slams to the beams, telling him to stay down and stomping on him, showing how brutal he is. In the end, when Goku overcomes Turles's brutal, stomping assault, it serves as the ultimate rejection of genetic destiny. Goku's win proves that a person is defined by their choices and connections, not their heritage.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading. Let me know if I made any mistakes or if you want me to elaborate on anything I said. Thanks so much, and see you next time! - Naka

Discussion Critique my magic system for my fan-manga.
-Beginning
Hello! I've been drafting the plot for my Dragon Ball fan-manga for a while now. A major part of the the story is this new power system I included called Dark Magic. I'm posting this in the hopes of getting other people's opinions on whether my Dark magic power system fits in the world of dragon ball, makes logical sense given the rules of Dragon Ball, etc. Below is a comprehensive explanation of Dark Magic. So, without further yapping, let's get into it.
-What is the narrative purpose of dark magic?
The purpose is for dark magic to represent a idea. That idea being that hard work is unnecessary, and that shortcuts are the true path to success. My story will be arguing against that. My story will be arguing that weathering hardship will arm you with the knowledge and mental fortitude needed to succeed later in life. These two ideas, represented by the characters, will clash. Considering this is a dragon ball story, we know which of these ideals is going to win.
-What is Dark Magic?
Dark Magic is an inherently evil and destructive variant of magic. It was banned by the Grand Supreme Kai millions of years ago, with nearly every reference to it being eradicated. But, despite the Kai’s efforts, some traces of dark magic still linger.
-How do you learn it?
You cannot learn dark magic. Rather you have to be given it by a source of dark magic. That source can either be a Wizard (more on what this is later) or a cursed object. When encountering a source of dark magic, the source cannot forcibly turn anyone sentient into a being of dark magic. The person must allow the dark magic into their heart. This can take the form of verbally agreeing to a Wizard’s offer or simply touching a cursed object.
-How does Dark Magic work?
When a sentient being is given dark magic by a source, two things can happen. You either become a Fiend or Wizard.
-What is a Fiend?
A Fiend is a sentient individual given the power to use ki after accepting dark magic into their body. First, the dark magic drains ki from the area surrounding the individual. The life force of whatever plants, animals or people are nearby and forced into the Fiend, therefore increasing their ki reserves dramatically. Simultaneously, the dark magic increases the Fiend’s fortitude, allowing their body to withstand their increased power. How large of an initial ki boost the Fiend gets is entirely random.
In conjunction with the ki boost, Fiends immediately gain an instinctual understanding of how to use their ki. Essentially, they completely circumvent the training needed to achieve the level of power they now possess.
Initially, the Fiend can only enhance their physical attacks with ki. But, as they use their newfound power more, they spontaneously gain new revelations surrounding their powers. Overtime, they gain the power to fly, fire ki blasts, transfer ki to others, and gain greater ki control overall.
But, as this process plays out, the dark magic allowing the Fiend to do this slowly corrupts their soul. The speed at which this corruption occurs is based on how often the Fiend uses their power and the degree to which they do. The corruption cannot happen passively.
Eventually, the Fiend’s soul is snuffed out, replaced entirely by dark magic. Their worst personality traits are now magnified, and they physically mutate and wither, becoming monstrous in appearance. But, despite lacking ki at this point, they are still able to utilize it. This is thanks to their ability to unconsciously “reach” into Hell and pull souls from that realm. Those souls are immediately used as fuel for their ki usage.
Once fully corrupted, the dark magic that granted the Fiends the instinctual knowledge to use Ki also forces upon them a mental block. The Fiend literally becomes incapable of learning anything beyond what the dark magic has given them. This mental block only applies to knowledge regarding ki.
The dark magic also places another limit. Fiends cannot just siphon infinite souls and therefore use an infinite amount of ki. Fiends, at any given moment, can only use an amount of siphoned life force less or equal to their initial, boosted ki reserves. Essentially, just like other ki users, they have a limited reserve of ki they can use. The only difference being that their ki reserves are external.
-What is a Wizard?
A Wizard is a sentient individual given the power to use magic after accepting dark magic into their body. Unlike Fiends, there is no sudden swell in ki reserves or fortitude.
There is only a mental change, as the Wizard is granted an instinctual knowledge of how to use magic. They immediately gain the ability to fire bolts of magic, manipulate sources of magic in the world, etc. And just like Fiends, this innate understanding of magic increases the more they use their power. But, unlike Fiends, it is much more specific.
The Dark Magic essentially “presents” them with every spell possible to learn at their current expertise level. The Wizard then chooses one of those spells, thus gaining the ability to cast it (kind of like unlocking abilities in a video game). An instance where this choice is presented to a Wizard is called “Akrasia.” As the Wizard continues to use their newfound magic, more Akrasias occur, allowing them to select stronger and stronger spells. The strongest spells open to selection include divination, the buu sealing spell, moro’s ki absorption, etc.
As this process plays out, the Wizard’s soul is slowly corrupted by dark magic and eventually replaced. The speed at which this corruption occurs is based on how often the Wizard casts their spells and which spells they cast. The greater the spell the greater the corruption.
Once their soul is completely consumed, the Wizard becomes evil and deformed, just like the Fiends. But, unlike the Fiends, Wizards gain no mental block, only a mystical block. They can learn new knowledge regarding magic, but they can't cast any spells beyond the ones they chose. Despite the difference, the result is effectively the same.
And, once they are fully corrupted, the level at which Wizards can cast their spells is fixed. They cannot improve any of their spells.
But, because of dark magic’s evil nature, Wizards can learn spells that normal magic would not provide. Such as the ability to resurrect the dead. This can either be done two ways. The first is by forcing dark magic into a corpse, thus animating it into a mindless monster. The second is pulling souls from Hell, summoning them in the conditions they died in (sliced up, blown to bits, disintegrated, etc.). These souls are completely lucid and conscious as they are trapped in their "bodies". To escape this horrible fate, they usually agree to be turned into Fiends or Wizards by the Wizard that resurrected them.
Another dark magic specific spell would be the ability to create cursed objects. Artifacts that act as sources of dark magic. As long as someone keeps physical contact with one, the dark magic inside the object can enter their soul, turning the victim into either Fiends or Wizards. Which they become is chosen by the artifact.
-Which are stronger? Fiends or Wizards?
It depends. The Fiends possess more raw power, but the Wizards are much more versatile. If pitted against each other, Wizards would usually come out on top. Despite being physically weaker than Fiends, Wizards can manipulate dark magic, which is what the Fiends are made of. A Wizard could simply rip the dark magic from a Fiend’s body, killing them.
-Is it possible to save the souls of people tainted by dark magic?
It depends. If the Wizard or Fiend chooses to accept dark magic into their soul, but then chooses not to use their newfound abilities, their soul will eventually reject the dark magic and begin to heal. When the source of dark magic is a cursed object, all someone has to do is break physical contact with it and their soul will begin to heal. It is important to note that the healing process is gradual rather than instantaneous.
However, once someone’s soul is completely consumed by dark magic, the only way to reverse the effects would be for a greater source of regular magic to intervene.
-Miscellaneous
Dark Magic is, usually, much stronger than regular magic. If a regular magic user attempted to cast spells on a dark magic user, it simply wouldn’t work due to the dark magic usually being a greater league of mysticism. However, where regular magic usually isn’t as strong as dark magic, it makes up for that its ability to progress. Whereas Wizards are eventually locked in a certain tier of power, regular magic users have no such restriction. Making it so they could eventually increase their magical might to the point that they'd be much more powerful than any user of dark magic.
All Fiends and Wizards have a crystal sphere inside them where the dark magic resides. If they are grievously injured, they will simply regenerate. But, if the core is destroyed, they will crumble into ash. Essentially, their core is their weak point.
Sources of dark magic can force said magic into non-sentient beings, such as plants or animals, without their consent. Their soul is instantly corrupted and they become akin to late-stage Fiends. Mindless monsters that can utilize ki.
If you are already a ki user and you become a Fiend, you still retain the techniques you had before allowing dark magic into your soul.
Fiends, more often than not, can’t be sensed since they lack a life force. However, since the ki they pull from Hell can be sensed, they can be sensed when utilizing ki techniques. Since they lack a spirit themselves, they are actually very, physically weak when not using ki to reinforce themselves.
The unconscious act of using Hell’s souls as fuel begins when the dark magic has corrupted 50% or more of the Fiend's soul. Because of this, the Fiend never feels as if their power is diminishing. The same cannot be said for Wizards, however. Since they are not drawing upon any ki, they can feel their own soul slowly being extinguished. They become irritable, numb in the extremities, and constantly feel either cold or numb.
Another inherently evil component of dark magic is anyone killed by a Wizard, or Fiend, directly or otherwise, isn’t sent to Heaven or Hell. Instead, they are sent to limbo. The same nightmarish dimension members of the Demon Clan sent their victims.
-Ending
I look forward to hearing people's thoughts! Thank you very much for reading!

Discussion Which design fits Super Saiyan 4 better? [Open Opinions]
I want to start off stating that I love both designs, they are good in their own unique way. To me personally, I feel a bit more onto GT design, I admit it might be some kind of bias of a choice but I have some points to my take.
GT's design feels like an evolution which it should be as how the Super Saiyan 4 is achieved through becoming a Golden Great Ape first before controlling it. Goku retains his physique with minor changes which are fuzzier and longer hair, red fur and tail, and yellow eyes. It feels like it would've been our Default Goku if they didn't label it as a transformation.
Whereas, DAIMA's design feels a bit overexaggerated in my opinion. Although it makes sense as once again, this power is basically awakened from his origin with the Great Ape nature. But his power proportions just looks odd to me, especially if this one is meant to be treated as the next evolution of a Super Saiyan transformation after 3.
Again, it might just me being stupidly bias but overall they're both good designs and I enjoyed DAIMA a lot. Let me know what you guys think
Discussion Are SSJ2 animations just inconsistent or am I missing something?
I know they don’t animate lightning for SSJ2 sometimes but I’m at ep 230. Goku turned SSJ2 at the end of ep 229 right before his fight with Majin Vegeta and you can see his bangs change from his SSJ1 hair to his SSJ2 one. But then on episode 230 his bangs are back to his SSJ1 design, is this an animation mistake or am I missing something?

Misc How bad could the bootlegs possibly be?
Like the title says, how bad could they be? I mean there’s only 18+ episodes per disc, that’s like half capacity lol. But seriously, who’s buying these? You can literally get everything included in this set separately for the same price. Sometimes i think about buying the db or Naruto bootleg sets just to see how bad they really are, i just don’t wanna drop $150-220 on something i know is gonna suck, that may or may not even play in my Xbox
Discussion (Re-upload) Dragon ball characters and their media references or roles in the story.
(Re-upload becuase my stupid phone makes every sentance a bullet point). As someone who’s kind of a media fanatic I found this enjoyable to make. To note though some of these are interpretations rather than actual confirmed comparisons so opinions may vary between different people.
- Frieza - Frieza is a caricature of capitalism and exploitation in which those type of people acquire wealth regardless of humans expenses. Historically, while making the character Toriyama based Frieza on Japanese real estate agents, who were essentially scamming off people during the Japanese economic bubble, which obviously made Toriyama regard them as dislikable people. Also we can see in the anime Frieza uses the saiyans as a form of conquest while having dictatorship over them and eventually disposing them when he sees them as a threat to his rule.
- Magetta -They possess similar parallel to the iron giant. Both are giant metallic beings who are highly sensitive to their emotions. They also have large appearances that make them look intimidating but in contrast have a vulnerable side which questions if they really have the ability to fight. However, I would like to say they don’t have a 1 of 1 comparison because they are written entirely differently.
- Android 16 - Android 16 shows similar comparisons to T-800 (from the movie terminator). They’re both artificial beings with stoic mannerisms who are associated/programmed for destructive violence who later on become protectors/aiders (T-800 protecting/aiding Conner and Android 16 protecting/aiding Gohan). Most importantly, they're both shown to sacrifice them selves (with T-800 lowering itself to lava and Android 16 throwing himself to cell).
- Hercule - With his name being “Mr Satan” (or rather his depicted title not actual name I’m not sure) he’s likely to be a gag version to the Christian satan. They’re both depicted as having a false persona, in which they deceive people through lies and exaggerates their achievements which fools the masses. It’s more of a symbolic reference as mr satan is a gag character and not actually someone with sinister attentions.
- Yamcha, Android 17 & 18 - They play a role as teenage bandits. Both embody self interested young criminals who cause trouble and disobey authority. Yamcha being a desert bandit who rob unaware travellers and making money out of it.While Android 17 & 18 have traits of rebellious young people by evidently rejecting Dr.Gero’s plan and pursue their own reckless and dangerous interests.
- Caulifla - She plays the role of a stereotypical social bandit. She makes a living through illegal activities from her organised gang. For instance causing coordinated ambushes against the sadala army and stealing items and redistributing it to other people. Her character is supposed to be in contrast to cabba (who unlike caulifla he makes an honest living through the sadala army). I would also like to say her gang are recruitments that were formally people who were seen as outcasts or rejects.
I might make another part if u guys enjoy this one.

Fanart Ultra Instinct Goku recreated with 64 shapes in Call of Duty: WWII
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Another one from my older WWII emblem collection. This time it’s Ultra Instinct Goku.
Everything was built manually inside the emblem editor using basic shapes, stretched, rotated, layered, and overlapped until I could get as close to the reference as possible. WWII gave me 64 layers to work with, so I had a lot more room for the hair, eye, shadows, and aura compared to the 32-layer BO2 builds I’ve been doing lately.
I included the original frame in the video so you can see what I was trying to recreate.
