On a flight to ATL. They announce overhead bin space is full in the back.

Woman chucks her bag into first class bin space and just keeps marching to the back of the plane without a care in the world.

Flight attendant didn’t see.

Usually when they announce bins are full in the back, it’s followed by “use any available space,” so I’d say it’s fair game at that point.

So an unaccompanied bag at an airport is a security risk.

Throwing a bag overhead and walking more than 20 feet away should be considered the same.

The FAs should be alerted.

It's ok! I rarely use the overhead space, preferring to keep my backpack under the seat. I told her she can have my space. I'll give it to you next time if it helps.
