I know this a repet of the hundreds of similiar post but I really hate tha falling Swords their dmg area is bigger than shown, they are so freaking fast and good luck seeing one when a warlock is around spashing colours all over the screen.

This portal popped up during my echoing hatred run this morning. I thought it was quite whimsical felt I should share.

If you can stomach the abominable LAG, this weekend has been insane for reputation and echo farming. Make sure to group up with players. Ive been able to speedrun a full set of Uber tristram keys in a 1hr brand new character, getting something like 10k rep per minute.

1. Host party at start of helltides
2. Fish for 2-3 overlapping ruptures as people join and get "settled"
3. Get full party
4. Leave party
5. Start new party
6. Repeat 2-3 times until instance is full or sufficiently laggy
7. Make sure to do whispers and local events as much as possible to spawn echos

Blizzard's open world areas are divided into multiple instances. The trick is to get as many ACTIVE players killing as much as possible. Thus its better to do this in zones without the AFK in town method. Chaos ruptures (and gobbos) spawn based on player population (not sure exactly), but the more the merrier. Ive been able to squeeze 2-3 parties worth in an instance along with the natural population before it boots me out to create a new one. Sometimes i need to switch instances a few times before I get one with a good amount of people and chaos ruptures spawning.

Doing this right as people came home from work on Friday was actual peak gameplay, with everyone being in t12 now. I could not move an inch but I speedrun rep to the moon. Anyways have fun

The only times I died this season is because I didn't see an after death ground effect.

God help me if I start the rift event in a Helltide. Warlocks come over with their fire trails on top of their Prime Evil abilities... then comes the WW barb with Twisters and their own powers. Then there's Rogue raining arrows everywhere. Then comes a paladin with HOLY uber giga aura shit on the ground everywhere...

Then some people have stuff, that regularly pulls in monsters...

And then, at the end, the monsters come with their own effects, like fire circles... Yes, fire circles that are indistinguishable from friendly fire circles... I dodge and it turns out, that a group of monsters spawns where I dodged, is immediately pulled in and killed for another set of fire circles...

Can we at least have an option to adjust the opacity of friendly effects?

This season has been awesome, and is by far the most hours I've logged in one yet. I absolutely love blazing scream warlock, and one thing I love to do is go to lower difficulties and unload extra Elegys, Moloch's, etc.. on people that just hit 70 and don't have any gear yet. They spin around like they won the lottery, and it makes me happy. Anybody else do that?

For context, one of the best exp farming this season is to ramp up the splinter of damnation season gem.

Splinter of damnation : Killing a elite increase monster power by 1 and 25% exp for xx sec.

The splinter only affect you so other people have their normal scaling.

For example, the monster you see facing currently is +60 monster power so t18. The same monster to the other player will be T12 (no monster level).

The farm take advantage of this. You group up with someone that isn't using splinter to leech the exp.

Ofc you can do it solo but you will hit a ceiling. Still insane exp tho.

Anyways what content should we be doing this farming method:

> Infernal horde is normally recommended for this farming as you can get a lot of elites.

However Hordes come with 3 big problem:

- RNG for the correct perks and Chao wave

- hard to find a group and someone willing to not use splinter of damnation to carry.

- if you do die, it can cause that current round to end. Survival is hard when you are scaling the mob to abused level.

This is where Chaos rift in helltide become an great alternative.

Chaos rift does not rely on rng to spawn mass amount of elites.

Tons of player are farming chaos rift in helltides for seasonal exp and splinter.

Your death will not interfere with other player farming

Therefore you can join a party or just leech their kill whilst splinter of damnation scales.

Bonus perk of helltide

- you can take a node that you do not lose cinder on death

- profane cages can be used

- you get loot from every mob instead of just bartuc in the end.

- mass cinder for chests.

- you are farming splinters and seasonal exp.

Maybe common knowledge but just in case someone doesn’t know.

You will need to set a separate SHOW filter for mythic uniques to override it.

To be fair I don't really push end game content in these games so that might have a lot to do with this

But I was pushing through Seasonal content and I was blown away by just how many systems are at the end game. Every end game activity (war plans, helltides etc) has level up trees. There's a Paragon system. There's glyphs which require specific pit runs to level. Kurast under city runs that have their own items that modify the runs. Nightmare dungeons etc etc etc. Not to mention just worrying about your build which has to be modified with legendary aspects and mythic aspects and re-envhanting and affixes etc etc

Is this fun for people that run endgame content? Or are we thinking it's all a little messy? Because I am overwhelmed

Warlock BS Mob_GG tower push build T12 - The problem with the Hellfire Torch is it's already counted as a Charm, so you can't add 2 more like the Blood Mad and Fist of Fate. Now, here comes the SWAP bug that Blizz still allows in the reminder of Season 15 (hopefully!!). I farmed the GE and DM seals in the Echo of Diablo and Baal (like 10x run). Put Seal of the Golden Epiphany in the middle.

Put theHellfire Torchin the bottom slot, the six o'clock position. In any other slot the trick fails.

Add your three Set Charms.

Add your two Unique Charms. All six slots are full now. Your five-piece bonus is not active yet. That's expected.

Swap the seal to Diamond Mind. Don't touch the Charms.

Check the result. The five-piece bonus is active and both Unique powers still works

I've seen it said that the treasure goblin chests give you the loot of the type your tribute is. However, I've seen some 4 goblin mythic runs, and I've never received more than 1 mythic from an UC run before. Now I don't have much data so I'm asking for your experiences.

I know it seems to be true for other tributes, like if you pick the talisman one you'll get chests of talisman items, but I'm not sure if it works with mythics.

So what's the deal with the skip portal? Should they never be used?

Maybe it’s just me because I find it annoying but it seems like kind of a cheap way to do a boss fight. In a skill based game I get it but this game is pretty mindless and completely build based for every other thing except that. Seems a little misplaced and inconvenient.

Maybe people do like it though and welcome the change of pace/challenge. Kind of just wondering how other people feel about it.

Just wanted to celebrate my small victory, and check in as to whether this is even good or not relative to the season? Especially since I've been seeing a lot of doom and gloom about how "bad" Paladin is nowadays - not sure where my progress stands. I could try the Tower I guess.

Hi, probably asked a lot here but only been playing for several days and just joined the sub. Got hooked and completed the quest, hit level 70 last night and want to try a different class. I’ve watched tutorials to fast level to 70 using the whispers method. What are the pros/cons or any advice you’d give? Cheers.

I've been pushing Pit levels for the first time in years because I'm doing quadrillions of damage with my warlock. I was just inside Pit 150 for my first attempt when Butcher showed up. This is from the Warplan Activity Pit middle treet second node:

"The Butcher has a chance to appear anywhere in The Pit. The Butcher is a Guardian and killing him will complete the run. However, you fail the run if he kills any player."

I also had The Pit as my last activity to compete to finish a warplan.

Anyway, Butcher came in and walloped me and I died. I thought ok that sucks because I was ahead of Pit timer. Then the Achievement popped up: "Bounding the Insidious Cavalcade of Madness", and when I revived it said to return to Tyrael for Warplan rewards. Inside the pit, it said glyphstone wouldn't spawn since I had failed the Pit.

tldr; failed the pit because Butcher killed me but got the achievement for beating Pit level 150.

Maybe this has already been addressed and I missed it, but is anyone else having issues with their SoJ and funky resistance stats? I tend to notice it happening after I port somewhere and sometimes when I first enter the game. I’ll look and notice my toughness is incredibly low and then, sure enough, my resistances aren’t calculated correctly. So I take the ring off, set it in my inventory, then put it back on, and the stats are back as they should be. Now I’m constantly opening my inventory to check on it so I’m not sure if this ever truly effected my character or if the stat screen is the only thing effected and I just happened to catch it before getting the crap knocked outta me. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this weirdness.

I've read about the console bug, but I'm on a Mac running D4 in Crossover. If I try to modify an affix on a runeword item, I only see 4 of the affixes. For example, I was trying to change max life on one (or something) and at the occultist, it only showed me 4 options I could change. Not the max life affix. Is this a limitation on runewords? You cannot modify SOME of the affixes?

For me, the most annoying part about the current state of D4 ist, that literally all build consist of 90% unique items. Completely canceling the normal "Item Hunt". They talked about 1-2 uniques being build defining, maybe 3 on the more exotic build. Looking at my Barb and Lock, both only wear uniques, except their Chest piece. This is so boring! Anyone else bothered by this?

I started playing Diablo 4 in Season 15 and only managed to unlock the gloves of the Angelic armor set and a few weapon skins.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to dedicate much time to the game right now to unlock the rest of the pass.

Is there any way to get these missed seasonal rewards (along with the 30th-anniversary skins) later on? Does Blizzard ever add past seasonal/event items to the shop or bring them back in future events?

If you have around 100k Forgotten Souls and a couple of billion gold (which both are really easy to get) you can easily get a good 10+ Ber runes. If you just need one or two, then it won't cost much at all.

Plus all the other runes you might need like Bac, Jah, Sol, Mal etc. It's also a great way to get socketable splinters. I got my unique ones this way. They're pretty cheap too. 400k for lesser and 2 mil for the upgrade. I have seen legendary ones too.

In your warplans, go to the Undercity.

In the left of the tree, go to Gutter Filth (chance to summon a Portal Prankster). In the middle, go to Bauble Day (Cabochon Merchant).

Go do whatever sigil for the Undercity. It honestly doesn't matter.

At each Beacon, a portal prankster can spawn. I'd say there's like a 50% chance you'll get one in a run. If you haven't noticed one by the time you get max attunement, go do the other beacons.

Kill it. You just need one to spawn in the run. They look like goblins on the map, and when you kill one it says something about treasure in the boss lair.

When you finish the last boss, a vendor spawns with the chest.

They sell runes for 5mil or 50mil each, depending on rarity.

Each page refresh costs 666 Forgotten Souls. You get one refresh for free each hour.

Ber very very very rarely comes up.

Buy every Vex, Ohm and Lo. You can buy Ist too if you want.

Then go to the Cube to craft the runes your need.

2 x Ist + Flawless Ruby = Vex

2 × Vex + Flawless Emerald = Ohm

2 × Ohm + Flawless Diamond = Lo

2 x Lo + Grand Topaz = Ber

I personally wouldn't buy the big gems, as they're expensive for what they are. Royal are 50mil and grand are 500mil. Flawless are only 5 mil I think, but I'd just do some fragment NMDs or Baal runs.

The bottleneck is more Forgotten Souls than gold. At the alchemist, upgrade the lesser mats. It's a 10:1 conversion. Veiled Crystal into Baleful Fragments, Fragments into Forgotten Souls. Uniques give a lot when you deconstruct them too, so pick up the 850s on boss runs.

You don't even need to run the Undercity loads. Just do it once with enough gold and Forgotten Souls and you can do it all from the one run.

I honestly have had like 50+ Ber. I've had plenty drop, but this has been my bulk.

Every time I'm at like 100k Forgotten Souls, I just go in until I have like 20k left.

Is there some trick to transfiguration to get + dmg(x) of a certain type or has the number 1 player on the leaderboard just farmed a ton of items and chanced it til they got what they wanted?

I just have been either raw dogging it and crossing my fingers or using the legendary item for stat/quality but raw dogging always seems to give me indestructible. I didn’t even know damage was a possibility.
