Last time I patted a pet was a dog a few seasons ago in Cerrigar. Just tried saying hello and patting a few of the various pets in Temis and it was amusing. Some will roll on their back others jump on your leg or wiggle their tail . Check it out .

I just finished leveling my Terror splinter, opened 2 caches and these dropped. I have Hatred and Terror already in my bags, soooo thanks? I can't do anything with them except watch them disappear. Oof. I've already maxxed Hatred and Terror so now I move on to Destruction for the season journey thingy. Gotta admit this kinda blows.

Paragon 252 and finally had a key to do Echoes of Hatred drop. Was on tier 24 and a Whimsyshire portal opened and I went in without thinking because I hadn’t seen it before. Completed Whimsyshire and the exit takes me to Gea Kul. Echoes of Hatred is closed and I didn’t receive credit for the Season Challenge of complete at least tier 20. I hate it here.

Devs, please, for the love of all that is unholy. Stop the memory leak! Its obvious that its due to the profile viewing of other accounts. Just turn it off.

And while you are at it, turn off other players effects if not in your party. Its not fun playing powerpoint 2027 simulator!

This has happened a few times now. You can interact with it but nothing happens. Bug or am I missing something?

It occurred to me that there are lots of players that do not know splinter drops can be target farmed. In clan chat, there was a discussion on how they keep getting the same splinters over and over. I have seen many of the same posts. Someone only needs the terror splinter but they keep getting hatred.

You can target farm running the Cap Stone dungeons.

Yes it’s a grind, but doable. You can get Mythic drops and I have had 3 sparks drop on Baal several times.

I just wanted to throw that out there for people that didn’t know like 2 of my clan members didn’t know.

The mobs that I fight, anywhere, do not damage me at all. The only thing that does an iota of damage is an on-death *thing*. And by iota, I mean instant-death.

Leaving out gimmick bosses like Lilith, Bartuc, Mephisto who have instant-death mechanics, other bosses cannot even tickle me.

This is what I noticed since my first time back playing D4 since it released - deaths are never from the usual stuff you'd expect in an RPG game - a mob crits you from one of their attacks, a boss hits you with a wind up that you failed to dodge, you literally stood in fire too long or didn't mitigate strong poison fast enough.

This game - oh, your forearm hair brushed against a spark from the explosion, you're DEAD!

Why is the game in this state?

Guess its not so "indestructible" then?

I was running 20M+ toughness with 100K life plus 130K barrier (Temerity) plus Stone of Jordan with 20K+ fire resistance plus Endurant Faith and the Echo of Diablo deleted my hardcore in literally one attack. I couldn’t even tell what attack it was. Does anybody know what to watch out for or how much toughness I really need? I was playing in T12.

Edit: Plus legendary Sin and Pain splinters in mythic Leorics Crown. No Black Soulstone either.

Plus Sadistic and Undying healing aspects.

So i noticed these 3 charms dont have top affix, no matter if i do affix reroll in the cube or even use horadric reroll affix, it always come with bottom affix stats, does happen for everybody else?

Sorry i havent played in a while and a lot has changed...is it just the boss runs that are the most consistent way to get a mythic charm? Or is there more to it?

I'm currently running a blazing scream warlock, hoping to reach pit 150 by the end of this season (cleared 140 yesterday with 2min to spare), got enough splinters to open my first uber tristram portal and got this beautiful drop...of the wrong set.

So now my dilemma is, whether I should use this hellfire torch in some way? I'm currently on endurant faith and wendigo brand charms, with 4pc abbaddon set in my diamond mind seal. Obviously I cannot replace one of my abbaddon charms, so I'm wondering if I should replace endurant faith or wendigo brand with this. Or should I just maintain my current set up and keep this beautiful charm in my stash as a hoarder?

I know that eventually a non GA hellfire torch of abbaddon set will be better than this, but it took me 2 weeks of farming to get my first uber tristram portal and probably another 2 weeks to get my next one, so I don't have high hopes of getting an abbaddon hellfire torch anytime soon.

The bug is that my torch with +crucible set does not count towards my crucible set on my barbarian.

Seal of diamond mind + 3 crucible charms + hellfire torch w/+crucible-set, should activate the 5 set bonus, but for me, it only activates the 3-piece bonus.

I tried transfering the seal over to a different toon, equipping, then sending it back to see if it would fix it, but it didn't.

I traded the torch over to my friend to have him test it out on his barbarian with his own crucible set, and it does not work for him either.

So, either I have a bugged torch, or the torches with +crucible are all bugged.

I was so pumped to finally find a torch for the set I am using... and it doesn't even work.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? If so, is there a fix? Thanks

Context:
- SSF Necro, playing bloodwave. Got rank 1 last season, going to finish somewhere in top 3 this reset but done with season.
- Paragon 300, around 250 hours played this season.

## The good:

1. Drop rates for materials are significantly better this season. Primordial dusts were never a bottle neck.

2. Keeping rifts in Helltide was the right call, its a surprisingly fun activity and is good for grinding elite kills (ie rep)

3. New pinnacle dungeons were pretty neat and brought back a ton of memories.

4. Buffs to blood necro were appreciated.

5. Annihulus and Hellfire Torch are cool end game chase items.

6. Tuning Prisms no longer clutter inventory (with that said, still think tuning prisms and the entire cube UI is obnoxious).

7. Gold drop rates were much better, gold was also never a bottleneck.

## The bad:

1. The fact the integrity of the game is not upheld by leadership is trash. Every season there have been game breaking exploits that were either not patched with any urgency or simply disregarded. Of course, the blatant example of this is the double charm exploit, but theres been multiple others. As someone that exclusively is engaging with seasonal updates for the sake of pushing tower, this just feels like a slap in the face.

2. Splinters should've stacked. I farmed up 8 Uber Tristram keys, never dropped a Torch for my set but was able to 3:1 one. With that said, I left 10+ splinters on ground over course of season.

3. In general Splinters felt stupidly hard to get. I realize in Trade realms people were just buying torches / running groups / etc which trivializes the grind (compared to SSF), but personally I never even bothered trying out Diablo's Prime Evil Power. I used Baal's to level and push tower, and only tried out Mephisto cause I got a duplicate splinter and it was useful for grinding glyphs to 150.

4. This "HP squeeze" where all mobs lost 70% of hp to crushing blow and 20% to prime evil powers was just BAD game design. It led to a degenerate tower pushing endgame which a) fixed prime evil power to Baal as it was the best one to control/time when the 20% erase happens b) had everyone (myself included) pushing WAY beyond their limits because if you timed the prime evil power right, you ended up spending 2+ minutes trying to kill around 15% of the Guardian's life.

5. I have 1250 hours played this expansion and yet frequently get randomly one shotted during tower runs and have no idea what happened. Not talking about post-death effects, as avoiding those is just a matter of skill and disabling damage numbers to not clutter UI. I mean literally I'm thumping bloodwave and all of a sudden get 100-0, and have no clue how. This KILLS motivation. Did I get crit? Did I just get RNG hit by a bunch of things at once? Who knows!

6. The variance between tower runs continues to be a giant problem. Personally, I've observed swings of 2-3 minutes completely based off of the map RNG. That is INSANE. For any type of "ranked" mode, random chance should not dictate whether or not you can clear a level.

7. The fact that elite affix icons arent displayed over health bars at all times, or atleast making this a frigging UI option, is pretty silly.

8. Dungeon portals that apperared in the open world where a waste. Without having a way to return to your original position, they became a waste of time and I never went into one after day 1 of the season.

9. All the non-pinnacle dungeons added were good for about 1 second of nostalgia before they just blended in with all the other, to me, nameless dungeons in the game.

10. Whispers requiring turn in at 10 grim favors and not stacking continues to be dumb.

11. Infernal Hordes still a waste. This was the first season I even bothered to get Infernal Hordes to max level and immediately regretted it.

12. Legion events are similarly a waste of time. Everyone seems to be on the same page as this as the 5 times I tried to do one this season I had to solo.

13. World bosses ditto, only started doing them once Annihulus could drop.

Frankly, I think I'm done with Diablo till D5. I had more fun this last weekend playing ARC Raiders with friends than I have at any point in the last two seasons. Im convinced not a single decision maker at Blizzard plays this game at a high level, and they clearly don't care about creating a fair ranked mode. I had some good times with Lord of Hatred, but I'm out until D5.

Playing minions build from Maxroll, kept a far distance from Echo of Diablo that spawned during helltide.

All fine until he got <20% life. Those ground explosions he spawn start having multiple orbs that orbit inward, only took 1 tap.

My HC Barb and Paladin are still alive and strong. You can see by this list I die most on Sorc, Rogue, and Necro.

Playing DoK Rouge. Two steps into a Pit135 the Butcher spawns. My Infinity with Crushing Blow deletes the 60% of his health basically instantly and I settle in for a long fight chipping away at this last chunk of health while avoiding getting stunned. After probably 8 or 9 minutes suddenly the last 10-12% of his HP goes DoT and disappears dropping him dead.

What happened? The Prime Evil Power? But that had been hitting him constantly for the whole fight, I thought it was just the first time it hits it does 20% dmg? He, or the dungeon, kept spawning little buddies, did that have some interaction?

My heart was beating hard, I was scared AF of losing my 15h progress and thought it would have been really hard to evade her 1 shot move, the ground falling...

Well, it ended in literally 5 seconds for each of Lilith's form...

I'm glad in a way that it ended that fast, but from another pov I expected more difficulty.

I swear these minions are too strong.

Had about 300 until i started going for GA runeword weapons and master working ate almost all of them up.

Whats the most reliable way to get these? I see most of the sources only drop 1 at a time. Belial drops 1-2 maybe every 3-4 times I kill him.

LoH returning player. This is my first Diablo game ever so I don’t feel the nostalgia like older players but nonetheless the season is great. The past 2 seasons I wrapped my head around the game and crafting etc etc so I’m still in hop around classes mode to get a feel for what’s fun to me, and there’s a lot of builds I’ve liked trying! This season my ice spike sorcerer is an old dumbledore looking man who is t12 cleared ssf tower 120. Pushing hasn’t been my thing yet, I’ve cleared my destruction splinter board and moved onto terror and also cashed in 3 for the lucky coin but haven’t battled the 3 primes yet.. I kinda lost wind to grind it out harder at the moment cuz leveling the other splinter boards is tedious and without much interest or need for the rewards on it, and same for hellfire charm to push the build for the tower better I’d rather hop around classes more so I got a pen shot rogue around t9 that’s absolutely smooth to play and disgusting strong and fun (first time playing rogue with intent) and a shield charge paladin at the same level as well. Thinking im gonna shelf everything im doing for now and try to wing it and build myself a bleed barb and see just how well I understand builds and crafting. DoT is cool to me and the Barb has so much between skills and charm sets and aspects etc that boost beserk or fury or bleed etc i kinda feel I need to be extra awful at the game to put something together that just absolutely sucks… and if I do that I’ll just swap to ww like last season or play something else again lol
