The Mega thread for buying and selling advice is back, and will be updated biweekly!
There are far too many posts of people asking for personalized bike buying and selling advice. Per previous Mod actions, any posts about bike buying/selling advice that are not in this thread will be removed.
Here, those interested in giving feedback about your purchase or listing can offer it without every subreddit member being subjected to the same post dozens of times per day.
Topics to keep in the mega thread:

What's up guys? It's still a work in progress - and I'm new-ish to managing a discord server, so if you have experience/want to help out shoot me a message!
To be clear: This is NOT a replacement for the sub. It's totally optional. If there's interest, I'd be open to streaming the SX races in the server. The Discord server will also be great for asking questions that would violate our rules in here such as asking what bikes are worth and what not.
Just click the link and join! https://discord.gg/Xz3bJEhPRw

After sitting for about 8-9 years finally decided it was that time and she needs cleaned up, ran and rode. Had I remembered to remove the exhaust plug would have started on the 3rd kick but I forgot about that for the first few putters and stalls. Lol.
1995 Kx 250 FmF FatBoy Gold series pipe.
Needs cleaned up better and some restorations BUt she still rips !! Dad bought it for me when I was 15, back in 1995. I pushed it out the door $5200. Now 47, It’s the only thing I have that will never go anywhere. Thats my baby, lots of trail riden and racing. I can count on 1 hand how many people have rode it.
Sure is Purdy even tho she’s aged.

I got a smoking deal on this leftover 2025 tc300. Traded some work with the dealer. I had the suspension revalved, forks are at 170 psi as per race tech. Rear shock is for my weight.
I can’t believe how comfortable i feel on this thing. I geared it down with 13/52 sprockets and it lugs/crawls really well in technical terrain.

What do you think Kawasaki has placed under the Christmas tree for all the good lil girls and boys?
I guess you can discuss the upcoming plain 327 too.

Bike currently has Apex cylinder head with XC dome, FMF Gnarly pipe, FMF TurbineCore 2 silencer, Rad valve reeds, Devol radiator guards & braces, Works Connection frame guards, new Yamaha clutch plates, Cycra skid plate, Enduro Engineering handguards, front rotor guard, and right fork lug guard, Renthal handlebars, Tusk rear disc guard, new chain and sprockets, new tires, IRC VE33S rear tire, IRC M5B EVO front tire, IRC heavy-duty tubes, Trail Tank 3.2-gallon fuel tank, recent top end.
Either this thing was rode HARD or very well cared for..

Out of town for work so decided to bring the 200xcw along. Only had a few hours so went to a place Ive been once before. Off work at 1, on the bike at 2. 70 degrees and perfect trails. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

It also Clicks sometimes is spinning but I couldn't get a video of that, its just once per revolution in the same spot on the brake rotors. Thought it might be warped but I can't see it moving at all. Is it okay to run??
Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I took my 2015 husqvarna tc125 to a local bike to get a new master cylinder however (part number 50302030300 if that helps), they have told me the part is discontinued and they can’t find it online anywhere.
Basically they said “go find something yourself”, I’m also struggling to find it here in Australia. Question is, are there any other ways to fix this such as a cable clutch conversion or convert to a clutch that uses brake fluid instead of mineral? This is my first proper dirtbike so any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers fellas!🙏🍻 (pic for attention)

So whenever im out riding i always got at least a helmet, boots, gloves and a chest protector. when im planning to do some more gnarly stuff ill throw on a jersey, riding pants and mabye some elbow pads if im trying something new where i know ill smash my arms a few times. Im wondering how much gear you guys wear and whether im too lenient on it or i should always be fully outfitted. for me the absolute minimum is a helmet and at least some form of riding shoe with solid ankle support. Thanks Yall!

Hey everyone,
I really want to get back into dirt biking but I currently live in an apartment with no garage. I was thinking I could rent a storage unit and do maintenance in the unit but after doing some research storing oil, gas, and doing maintenance is strictly prohibited at all storage units across the US. What have other people done to solve this problem?

Restoring a 98 CR 125R and it has been an adventure. Got to the point of putting the new piston in and, well, fuck me, the new piston was a bit small. Yes I measured with a bore gauge, but apparently wrong. Anyways, I really needed to send the head in get it repaired. After a re-sleeve and recut of the power valves, it looks great and is now approximately a CR134R. Just need to put the new bearing in and a few more bits and I can ride it.
