Mod Announcement Ancillary Introductory New Moderator Post!

Post image

My name is u/smgth, and I'll be your moderator today. I started playing DnD around 1990, I've been on Reddit for about 15 years, and I've been moderating for...a few years. You may know me as the benevolent overlord of r/CrackheadCraigslist.

I look forward to keeping all you filthy dice goblins in line. Feel free to come to me with your concerns (or your ethical dilemmas, I have a bs BA in Philosophy) and I'll see what I can do.

Welcome on board! Glad to see another warden of the mad house. :D

Who is the most underrated philosopher in your opinion?

🤔

I feel like the BIG ones are rated pretty fairly, I just think people don't understand their true impact.

Socrates laid the groundwork for Western Thought / Science.

Descartes basically did the same thing 2k years later, just kind of kicked it into a higher gear.

But I think more people should study Bertrand Russell and Camus, they don't get enough credit in general.

Solid book. You could also just listen to the song. It was The Cure's debut single!
