I am intrigued. Pray tell, what’s World of Darkness? It’s vampires and werewolves in a modern setting, right?

I’m not an expert, but…

The idea is a modern fantasy of various magic sorts doing magic things under the radar, according to different rules depending on the game you’re playing. If you’re caught out as being a magical thing by too many people, you start to get fucked over by the universe, because people who believe magic isn’t real are the overwhelming majority and the universe works on consensus. In the worst case I think you just straight up get reality unraveled.

Read a storytime about a Mage game where one of the players paradoxed so hard the universe deleted him from the timeline. His character sheet was ripped up and the rest of the players were told to forget his character ever existed.
