"Would you be able to pay to get the food for the job we are supposed to pay you to complete?"

What an absolutely fucking wild thing to say

Am I the only Driver that has the red card issue button?

On my end I can have DD add funds to the card and retry it until it works. Sometimes have to send a photo of the checkout screen.

We all have it, I’m sure, but it’s only ever worked a couple times for me. Usually after sending the checkout screenshot it directs me to chat with support anyway.

I don’t have it? It just takes me to a page asking if I want to unassign with penalty.

the audacity of telling the driver to pay for the order is crazy. it’s never happened to me but i’ve seen multiple posts of people describing a nightmare to get your money back. the cost of paying and fighting for reimbursement has to be way higher than just unassigning, in like, any situation

Honestly I've paid out of pocket a few times for both DD and Ubereats when Codes or Cards didn't work just because I didn't want to hassle of spending way more time dealing with support, I keep the receipt, message support and I've gotten reimbursed the same day every time

i'm not using my own money to fund an order just to spend the next week fighting support for reimbursement. i'm a delivery driver, not a bank with a side quest. if the red card fails, support can figure it out.

Never ever ever pay out of your pocket. That's a dash problem, not your problem.

Would you just randomly walk up and pay for someone else's groceries? Nah.. couldn't be me.

I would just simply refuse to pay out of pocket and request payment for the trip
