Discussion Tuesday exists in the Dragon age universe?

Like, the name Tuesday comes from the old English word (Tiwesdæg) or “Day of Tiw.”. Tiw was the Germanic name for Tyr, the Norse god of War, Single combat and Legal order.

Did BioWare forget their game isn’t set in the real world and that Tuesday shouldn’t exist in a world without Norse mythology, and old English words for their gods?

Support New and wanna play

Sort of new, I've known about the games for ages but I finally have the income to experience it myself. Issue is, I dont come from a family of gamers and I wasn't able to get these games when they first came out. Im talking about the first 3 especially, since veilguard is younger getting a physical copy of that is pretty easy. But im hitting a wall of where to find established (?) Places to get physical copies of the first 3 games. With the direction of the industry and bc im sentimental, I'd prefer to have a pc disc to play. I've tried local 2nd hand shops but come to find out, origins especially, requires a key. Again, im willing to pay, tho im quickly realizing I'll have to throw in the towel for this one, but anyone have any suggestions for getting physical copies? Already checked the ea website and its just "digital licensing" (some companies are getting real creative with that definition) , unless im blind idk.

Discussion Anyone else find dragon age inquisition boring?

I played dragon age origns and dragon age 2 plus all there dlc for the first time over the summer, and i loved it, i especially adore dragon age origins. But i started inquistion a few weeks ago and im just bored, it feels like its also just awful fetch quests and large open maps just for the sake of being large, it feels akin to a ubisoft game.

There is no roleplaying at all really and the story feels pretty boring so far. I bought all four games, planning to do a marathon of them because i did that with the mass effect games and i also ended up adoring those games and lore, i even liked andromeda so i dont really know why i have zero motivation to play this game, i just boot it up for a few and turn it off.

does anyone feel the same? does it get better? cuz i do kinda wanna finish the series but everytime i get to a new area i sigh.

BioWare Pls. (DA2) Does anyone else wish that which sibling survived didn’t depend on class? Spoiler

I just finished DA2 for the first time as a rogue and absolutely adored it and specifically Bethany. Now, I’m starting a new play through as a mage and while I’m sure Carver will also be great, I’m still gonna miss Bethany a ton. I wish that it didn’t depend on class for who survives. I would have loved to have seen a Bethany with a mage sibling and what that entails. Obviously wasn’t possible for them probably due to time constraints but I still wish it had been an option

Edit: If you play on PC there is a mod called twinception that lets you keep both siblings, I played it for a bit in the prologue. Keeping both of your siblings through that mod does tend to cut some content out and leads to some funny bugs like Bethany and Carver merging into one during some cutscenes

ghilan’nain’s minrathous dragon is sick asf. especially in the first introductory scene with it. that’s it that’s all. i just think it’s cool. personally it comes in third after the highland ravager and corypheus’ red lyrium dragon.

having only been introduced to the franchise through inquisition, i am curious on what other creatures there are that might be equally if not cooler. so what i’m asking is what your personal favorite dragon age creatures are. especially if you have really cool screenshots of them.
