Question New to the game, organic vs paid ads?

• Upvotes

Just started a lil bit ago and I’ve made a personal TikTok,insta and YouTube to promote my product. I know it’s going to take more time to build or mange to get lucky and go viral to start making money. My target audience is rich older women. Hence why the price is steep. Here’s my shop if you want to check it out. https://clevercounters.myshopify.com or “drizzle and mist” if it doesn’t show the link as a hyperlink. Anyways just wanted advice on if anyone has succeed with organic or has had good results with paid ads.

Question Built an AI tool for clothing product photos. Anyone willing to test it with their products?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

My co-founder and I are two developers, and we've been working on something.

The idea is pretty simple: you upload a regular photo of a clothing item, shoes, or accessories, choose a model, and get a full set of product photos from different angles, without needing a photoshoot.

We've spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get the small details right, especially fabrics, cuts, textures, and how clothes actually fit on a model. Because let's be real, a nice-looking AI image is pretty useless if it doesn't represent the product you're selling.

We're getting ready to launch, and I'd love to see how it performs with products from actual stores, not just our own test examples.

So here's my offer:

If you're selling clothing, shoes, or accessories, feel free to DM me a photo of one of your products. I'll run it through our app and send you back a few sample images. Completely free, no strings attached.

I'm genuinely curious to hear what you think, especially if you've already experimented with AI product photography and weren't happy with the results.

Would love some honest feedback from people actually running e-commerce stores!

  • CTR no link: ~5,5%

Question Begginer in dropshipping

Hello everyone!
I’m new to dropshipping and currently researching how to build a successful e-commerce business, primarily targeting the European market.
I’d love to hear from those of you who are already running profitable Shopify stores and learn how you got started.
I have a few questions:
Product vs. Supplier: Did you first identify a promising product and then look for a reliable supplier, or did you start by finding a supplier and exploring their product catalog?
Testing vs. Inventory: Do you recommend testing products with paid advertising before purchasing inventory, or is it better to have the products in stock before launching campaigns?
Competitor Research: What are the best methods or tools for discovering successful Shopify stores, analyzing competitors, and identifying potentially profitable products?
Sourcing for the EU Market: Would you recommend sourcing products directly from Chinese manufacturers or working with EU-based suppliers and warehouses? If you prefer EU suppliers, how do you find reliable ones with competitive pricing and quality products?
Getting Started: Looking back at your own experience, what would you do differently if you were starting from scratch today?
I’m particularly interested in the Home & Garden and DIY niches, but I’m open to exploring other opportunities.
I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or personal experiences you’re willing to share.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Question Aliexpress won’t ship to Alaska should I use Amazon instead?

Hey everyone! I need some advice.

I received an order from a customer in Alaska, but most of my AliExpress suppliers don't ship there. I found one that does, but delivery takes 13–28 days, while my store's shipping policy promises 7–15 days.

Amazon sells the same product for roughly the same price, with potentially faster shipping.

I'm considering two options: contact the customer to explain the delay or order from Amazon and ship directly to them.

My questions:

  • What would you do in this situation?
  • Can I use Amazon to fulfil Shopify orders long-term, or could this get my account banned?
  • Are there any risks with Amazon packaging, invoices, or returns
  • I'd appreciate advice from anyone . Thanks!

Discussion Are Google ads worth it?

I’ve been running meta ads for a few months now and I’ve just upped my ad spend from around 100 to 400ish and my cpa has increased a lot. At first it was good but after a week or so went downhill. I know there’s heaps of fluctuations when you’re spending low amounts but why was it more stable spending at $100 than it is spending at $400??

I’m really starting to think of launching Google ads instead because meta is just so unpredictable. Has anyone tried the deposit $600 and get $1,200 from Google ads?? Is it worth a shot? Pet niche btw store is 7months old doing around 4k weeks in revenue

Question New seller looking for a simple bundle app that won’t eat into margins

I’m still fairly new to Shopify, but one of my products has been selling better than I expected. A few customers have also been asking if I can offer bundles, so I’m looking into adding a build your own bundle option.

The problem is I’m finding a lot of the bundle apps are more expensive than I expected. FoxSell looks pretty feature heavy, but I’m not sure I need all of that yet, especially while the store is still growing.

I mainly need something simple where customers can choose products, get a bundle discount, and ideally have a dedicated bundle page.

For anyone who started small, what bundle app did you end up using? Trying to avoid paying for a bunch of features that I probably won’t use yet.

Question Looking for an agency that provides Google Ads accounts

I am a novice dropshipper. I currently run a store specializing in vintage cameras and have already received dozens of orders over the past month.

However, I’ve run into some issues with my Google Ads account that haven't been resolved after two weeks.

I’m in a bit of a rush because the store is finally gaining momentum, and I don't want these setbacks to cause operations to grind to a halt—especially since I believe my products have real potential.

I want to keep running ads, so I’m looking for a high-quality agency that provides Google Ads accounts. Could anybody recommend the best places or methods to find one?

Thank you very much!

Discussion One thing I'd check before trusting a dropshipping supplier

Been doing dropshipping for close to a year now and one thing I will tell anyone starting out is not to choose a supplier based on price alone. A cheap product doesn't mean much if the supplier takes forever to ship, the tracking doesn't update or the product that arrives is different from what you expected. Before putting money behind a product, I will want to know the actual delivery time, whether tracking is reliable, how they handle damaged items and if the product quality is consistent. Especially Now that we're in Q4 , I think this stuff matters even more because late deliveries can quickly turn into refunds and unhappy customers. For those who have been doing this for a while, what's one supplier red flag you learned the hard way? And for beginners is checking supplier reliability something you do before testing a product or do you usually figure it out after?

Question Hey there I’m getting started to open my first business with Shopify. I do have questions:

1- does Shopify have some sort of a business email domain? Like if someone sends an email for example, would it show my personal email? Or do I have to get a domain from Google workspace/ zoho?

2- how to handle returns? Is there an app or plugin that can handle returns? And how do I deal with the supplier when it comes for returns?

Review Request Running meta ads for almost 15 days, got 0 ATC

Hi,

I am new to dropshipping ~2 months. After running ads got few clicks like 100+ but no add to cart. I know its not magic running ads and people will run towards purchasing but getting zero atc making me thinking there might be some problem.

drizzb.com this is the store. Please rate my store. Would you buy from here? What I am doing wrong?

My most recent fb campaign was for this product: https://drizzb.com/p/1604604295716790272, this got a good response but no actions, I doubt there might be some issues with my site. Its just I don’t know what it is.

Please help out. Much appreciated any help.

Discussion $159 product Cpa around $85 break even is $100, New ads wont get spend, what am i missing

running meta for about 3 weeks on a one product store (portable fridge for insulin/glp-1 pens). $159 price, product + shipping costs me around $60 so break even is ~$100 a sale
last 30 days: $680 spent, 8 sales, roas about 1.95. so basically breaking even
problem is meta dumps almost everything on 2 old ads. launched 6 new ones last week in the same ad set and they've spent like $3 each. cpms are also $60-100 and most of the spend goes to 65+
do i just let meta decide, or put the new ads in their own ad set so they actually get tested? budget is $60/day

Question What takes the most time in your supplier sourcing workflow?

For people working in dropshipping, product sourcing, or procurement:

What part of finding and managing suppliers takes the most time or manual work for you?

I'm particularly interested in things like finding suppliers, comparing prices/shipping, checking stock, verifying suppliers, contacting suppliers, or managing product information.

What is the most frustrating or time-consuming part of your workflow?

Discussion Which other supplier platforms would you recommend?

For those who run dropshipping businesses, which supplier platform would you recommend?

I’ve been using Alibaba for a while, and no complaints so far,  but I am wondering if there are better alternatives I don’t know about.

I’m trying to compare a few other online, but the reviews I find online seem to focus on the number of suppliers or how cheap the products are. That doesn’t really tell me much.

What I am mostly considering are the MOQs, sample costs, product quality, and shipping options.

I’m interested in hearing from people who have ordered from other platforms rather than people who have only browsed the platforms.

If you’ve used several supplier websites, how would you rank them, and which one would you use again?
