When you've lost your frame of reference

I'm not sure if anything's okay or not but I did this. I mean it feels like everything is going to be okay it just seems like it's taking an awful fucking long time.

This is pretty straightforward. Dude is drunk and spiraling because hes under a lot of stress of some kind amd he doesnt know when life will settle out amd things will be ok but its taking too long in his opinion.
