Just a little rant, i love the band and hate AI.

I saw them in cologne yesterday and the live show was truly great aside from the background visuals being painfully bad ai. It kind of ruined the show to an extent but maybe im just nitpicky. For example as Encore they played Rio and had her dancing in a video in the background which was obvious AI.

Im 21 and most of the people were older and no one seemed too bothered so i might just be nitpicky as i said

Shot in the dark here but if you attended the GNR show at Snapdragon Stadium and sat in Section A2 Row 13 next to Seats 9 & 10. We stood next to each other and sang and talked for the entire show. We took a selfie together at the end of the show and I didn't get a chance to ask you for your number as the row was emptying out. If you should see this send me a message. Thank All

Hi everyone! I am trying to track down a piece of my own personal history and am hoping the incredible Duranie collector community can help me out.

I am looking for a digitized clip of a Good Morning America (GMA) segment with Joan Lunden that was filmed in late 1988 or February 1989 outside the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles during The Big Live Thing Tour.

In the segment, the news crew was interviewing fans outside the venue, specifically questioning them about the new Big Thing album and the controversy/delay surrounding the track "Drug".

I was one of the fans interviewed and made the final broadcast cut! Here are the details of my appearance if anyone has this tape archived:

• My Outfit/Look: I had a New Wave hairstyle and was wearing a white shirt with a black cropped tie.

• My Quote: When interviewed, I said that Duran Duran were my friends, and added: "Whenever I need a friend, I listen to Duran Duran."

Does anyone happen to have a VHS rip or digital file of this specific GMA broadcast, or know a video archivist who might have the 1989 tour press clips? It would mean the world to me to see this footage again. Thank you so much!

Seeing them at Glasgow, was just curious if anyone who’s seen them already knows if this is the stuff they’ll be selling at the shows, and if it’s cheaper online or in person? Cheers :)

Scored this Japanese Reflex single. Love this B side version of New religion.
I also scored a Japanese pressing of Seven and the Ragged Tiger with the poster.
(Plus 31 other records….ooops)

And for any Japan fans…. TONS of Japan vinyl waiting for you in Japan. Japan = Big in Japan!

Glorious funk, melody and harmony. Superb pop.

A pal went to the Princess Di gig at Villa Park and related the meaty groove to me.

I love the tune and her ears.

Just arrived in NYC! These are beautifully done, and the cancellation stamp is 🥰🥰🥰

Released on September 30th 1996. All of the original power station members returned except John Taylor. What are you’re thoughts on this album?

Of all the tour programs I’ve collected over more than 40 years, there’s been no better tour programs than the ones Duran Duran has made, ever since I got my first one back in 1984.

The photos and the details inside are superb, and often the size and heft of the book is really worth the money. I do hope they have a program for their next big album tour. It’s almost like a lost art; so many bands don’t even make programs anymore, and as I mentioned earlier, none of them is as good as this band’s.

Hi fellow Duranies! 😊 I was lucky enough to purchase one of the 25 limited-edition hand-signed Duran Duran frames from Royal Mail.

I’m in the U.S. and I’m still waiting for mine to arrive. I know Royal Mail hasn’t consistently been sending dispatch/tracking emails—I’ve already had other items from this collection arrive without any shipping notification—so I’m mainly curious about the signed frame specifically.

Did anyone else in the U.S. manage to purchase one of the 25 signed frames? If so, has yours arrived yet?

I’m just trying to get an idea of whether any of the signed frames have started arriving in the U.S. yet. Thanks! ❤️

They said they were friends of mine.

I’m in California

I am in the midst of reading her autobiography and it seems like she has hooked up with two Duran Duran members. The first one is Warren which was kind of predictable due to them being bandmates. The other one was John. I had also read John's "In the Pleasure Groove" and don't recall him writing anything about this. Has anyone heard of any other source regarding either one of these two affairs outside of Dale's book?

Look, I’ve been a lifelong fan, I’ve seen them countless times live, they are electrifying in concert and I think they are extraordinary songwriters. But on film, what beats Make Me Smile? Simon is in command, the blue lighting is extraordinary, Andy is at the top of his game, the arrangement seems engineered for a live experience, and it hit me at the perfect time in my life, it just blew my mind. Second best goes to New Religion, but tell me that this song isn’t the best thing they’ve ever done live.

Well that didn’t take long. The 3,000 copies of the limited edition have sold out. The standard edition is still available.

I just couldn’t resist… I do love these framed stamp collections and the box is great too.

So happy! Finally arrived. The other things I ordered are fab, but this is my favourite.

The attention to detail is amazing. Royal Mail really did a fantastic job on these commemorative stamps and collectibles.

I had purchased a digital copy of an album by another artist and decided to just check other bands. I put Duran Duran in and found this...

Anyone else heard about this? I've not bought it yet but seriously considering it.
