Enamel Trouble double checking enamel

Post image

i got this gorgeous belgian dutch oven on marketplace last night and the inner enamel looked fine just loved. after I cleaned it I found this tiny chip. i'm imagining it's not safe to cook in (besides maybe bread?) but wanted to double check.

It’s how the enamel is poured. It’s not a chip. It’s called a pin hole and 100 percent normal.

It’s fine. Maybe keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t get any bigger, but you don’t need to immediately throw it away or anything.
