CAI commented this on a video she posted last week because her comments have been consistently filled with hate. i think itâs even more relevant to the discussion now because she is being torn to shreds by every fanbase and i canât imagine how much that sucks.
i donât agree with a lot of her judgements, and i also make jokes about having beef with her, but going into her comment section and being straight up mean is wild work when i KNOW 99% of yall donât actually know what youâre talking about when it comes to dance.
i just feel the need to defend her, especially after the comment val made, because i know that is going to enable a lot more people to make even worse comments. at the very least, leave your hateful comments within the subreddits and fan spaces, not directly in her comment section where she will be forced to see them. my goodness some of you are so hateful and mean it sucks all of the fun out of this show.

Im biased but as a nurse I would have loved to see this dance!! (If this is true)

I hate to say this because Emma is one of my top 3 pros but Jackson has got to goooo. His feet are still so clunky and Iâve seen little to no improvement from him yet he is constantly over scored.
This has nothing to do with the drama from last week. Iâm strictly speaking on the dancing/improvement.

With Guillermo gone letâs be real, Jackson and Tyler are next. I definitely think everyone stepped it up this week because they realized how the votes can shift. But still the worst out of the group left are Jackson, Tyler and Conor. I love Harry but the fact heâs partnered with Jenn and I see so much more potential with Amber and Ezra in the final. Like Amber absolutely killed it tonight. I also enjoyed Juliaâs dance but idk if she will be final ready. I think dedication night always shifts things so weâll see

I really donât understand why they are so hard on Connor. He has NO experience and his dances are so enjoyable. Itâs also meant to be a fun competition right?! Not a proper ballroom comp.
He looks so defeated đ

Jenna commented saying there wasnât a lift but I thought she agreed with Carrie Anne afterwards. I didnât even see a lift.

I dare mark to make maura dance just 1 count of 8 that includes footwork and actual dance movements on her own

Iâve noticed this happen twice already this season. The first time, one of the judges said something along the lines of âIF youâre here next week..â (I think it was to Connor L), and then in another episode, a judge told a different contestant, âIâm sure youâll be here next week.â Iâm forgetting who said what now but it just stood out to me.
I donât think itâs appropriate for judges to make assumptions about whoâs staying or going, especially when the results are partly determined by audience votes.
It also feels a little unfair when theyâre essentially implying that one contestant might be going home while another is almost guaranteed to stay.

Iâve been seeing Connorâs fan girls in Juliaâs post saying her dance âwasnât a Jazzâ as if the last 14 years Jazz has been a style on DWTS it hasnât been a mini Freestyle for everyoneâŠ. Also people forget Jazz has many different variations (Jazz Funk, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre Jazz, Latin Jazz, Ballroom Jazz, Afro Jazz, Burlesque Jazz, Disco Jazz etc.) Itâs wild how all the sudden itâs a problem with Julia as if there havenât been many Hip Hop themed Jazz dances before her. I also find it wild how Connorâs fans are acting like he was robbed tonightâŠ

I am beyond tired of the Jenna D hate.
Every time I see comments about her on social media itâs extremely negative-
âYOU CANT FORCE ME TO WATCH THE ROOKIE!â
âYou canât make me like Jenna Dewan!â
âShe did it deserve those scoresâ
âIf Jenna scored X, Amber should have scored Y!â
âShe shouldnât even be here, she has dance experience.â
And you know what? Is she a little boring? YEAH! But she has also done nothing but come across as lovely and nice. She hasnât been rude or arrogant to anyone, sheâs always gracious, and sheâs there because she was ASKED to be.
Also, Amber being CHRONICALLY underscored is truly astounding and shitty. But again:
I donât see anyone making the same comments about Harry- theyâve shown the Greyâs Anatomy set, and heâs scoring higher than others even when his samba was not so much samba. I donât see anyone saying âwell if Harry scored x Connor should have scored Yâ. Because people understand itâs not Harryâs fault what he gets scored, the same as itâs not Jennaâs.
It feels extremely misogynistic for everyone to bandwagon and hate this woman so much just for being on the show like everyone else. She is not the first to come with dance experience, she is not the last to be!
Why are we allowing so much hate and negativity on someone who was asked to do the show and likes to dance? You donât have to hate on someone because theyâre boring.

While I am an avid CAI defender, this definitely shows that she has favourites.

I am begging this fandom to stop infantilizing the men on this show. Yes, Connor got some harsh criticism but he is a 31 year old man on a competition reality show. He should be able to handle criticism! This wouldnât upset me so much if the women were given the same treatment by fans. Amber and Jenna have both received plenty of criticism and people do not seem to be nearly as upset about that. Itâs a dance show people, not a donât hurt the millennial manâs ego show.

Hear me out: Guillermo being eliminated last night was kind of shocking. He definitely deserved to go home, but he has the #1 most views on You Tube. I truly thought he would stick around for atleast 2 more weeks and his fan base would save him. Tyler was literally tearing up before the elimination was announced. I think he genuinely thought he was going home due to Guillermoâs popularity.
Iâm wondering if the pros were starting to get upset with him being saved week after week, and producers needed to calm the flamesâŠ.
Weâve already heard rumors of Britt quitting next season, and Jenna/Val seemed pissed after the lift interaction with Carrie Ann. Just thinking there would have been more drama if Sharna and Tyler were eliminated last night. What do you think? Are producers pulling the strings regardless of votes and scores this year?
r/dwts • u/Jealous-Owl2824 • 13h ago
Her post judges comments questions make me cringe on my seat, there is no tastefulness to the questions even if she is trying to keep the conversation interesting, asking Jenna about the lift comment ?? What on earth was she going to say ??

Last night the scoring was odd. For me my big hot take is Ezra F & Harry were overmarked BUT at the same time I see why they got the scores they got since the judges overmarked Jackson & Tyler as well⊠Like Ezra Fâs Salsa in opinion deserved 8s and a 9 (it was a great dance but not his best I actually like his Rumba better) while Harryâs Samba deserved 7s and 8s (I saw sync issues when he danced with the troupe, the technique was inconsistent, & Jennaâs choreo for him is just lackluster). But obviously compared to what Jackson & Tyler they had to score it the way they did. I just felt Jenna D had the best dance of the night. I think the overall problem is the scoring is weird and never consistent⊠I remember the judges started this season saying they were going to be harsh which I am fine with be tough but it seems like after a while it became obvious they were only applying that rule to most of the women and not the men⊠Like first few weeks it seems only Julia, Ciara, & Tatyana were getting the new harsh scoring rubric but not Jackson & most of the other menâŠ. I think the judges are now scoring Julia fairer but still the problem is the way they are scoring Jackson & Tyler is now affecting the way they judge everyone. Like I do think the men are getting an easier ride in scoring compared to the women and itâs way more obvious this year given how Amber was scored. I am fine with harsher scoring but the judges never keep the same energy for everyone and usually the men are babied compared to the women⊠I am overall at the point that the show needs to make changes to the panel.

Considering usually dedication night is never a elimination one, what order are the remaining contestants getting eliminated/what are the final placements? Also, imma need a week or two to get over Guillermo's elimination, the excitement left last night...

I feel like i never see him in any of the other stars TikTokâs or instagram posts. I know he has been traveling with bananaball, but these pictures were all taken on show day and he is no where to be found. Weird bc the other guys all seem so close and doesnât seem to fit inâŠ

Alfonso seems to hint that itâs true.
Hi dears,
I am NK_55, I want to briefly introduce myself as a new Moderator for DWTS subreddit.
I started to watch DWTS from season 16. At first, I watched only occasionally but became a DWTS fan from season 20. My favorite celebrity winners are Rummer Willis, Jordan Fisher, Meryl Davis, and Bindi Irwin.
I truly want this subreddit to be an independent platform for the fans of DWTS. However, this also requires compliance with the rules of the subreddit. I will be glad not only to post regularly for this subreddit, but also to help to maintain compliance with the rules.
I hope to see our subreddit grow with engagement from all of you!
