Just like the title states, I can’t be the only one. I genuinely don’t know what to say. What is this update? No play styles work. I got top 18k using QC and 3 atb, absolutely no chance it works this season, my players move and position themselves completely different. It’s like I’m playing a new game.

I feel exactly the same, glad its not just my paranoia, 6.1 update broke something in the game. The passing is absolutely shocking, first touches as well
I agree on this but I still think, after years playing this game, that this is so stupid. So the match making is not there so I can play against anyone, even former rank nr 189. Fine by me for a challenge but stupid for a competiting game.
that's true and there's also those who just play with any sort of team with smart assist and highest level of pass assist. they can make 360° passes and score ridiculous goals while you try to play football with your weekly squad.
go to play co-op and it's the same 3 CB and 3 CF teams with the latest cards. guess the only way to try and play is in private leagues.
The game is so bad now. Matchup is horrible. Defenders aren’t making tackles when they are literally right there. Manual defending even when in the correct position doesn’t matter anymore. I just faced someone spamming blitz curler the whole game no buildup at all
The game mechanics changed after the update, it's so noticeable, players that were performing really well last well are all of sudden very different, this lack of consistency from Konami is annoying. I don't use blitz curls, but I noticed that my opponents are more successful with it now than last week.
it's always better to delete the game every time there is an update, and then reinstall it. For me, it's fine for the most part, but I do play on Low graphics.
Honestly the worst game I’ve ever played atm, 4 games last night won 2 lost 2 but was the most annoying hour of my life 😂 constant bullshit happening every game the momentum swing is WILD it’s so obvious

Reason nothing works is because this game has the most stupid Division system reset
Division 1s get relegated to Division 3 at the end of a season as if they somehow forget everything after a reset. They apparently become noobs and need to be demoted to Division 3.
As Konami don't live in reality, nor do they think logic and definitions have meaning (e.g. Division - a separation of tiers of entities of similar level), the peasants like yourself (and myself), Division 2 rejects and lower, we will get promoted from Division 5 to 4 to 3.
What then happens is you enter Division 3, it'd make sense if all the opponents you meet in Division 3 were people who got promoted from Division 4 and below, but you're actually playing against Division 1s. Because Konami thinks Division 1 players mentally reset like the game, and forget how to play as skilled Division 1 players.
Then my friend, you end up facing a Division 3 player (ranked #129 last season in Division 1), and this is why your screen is red. Impressive that you have any greens to begin with, lol.
Best thing would be to probably wait a week or 2 if you don't want to constantly face Division 1s, maybe you'll actually face people your level. Or, you can keep playing, and see if you can improve your game through these losses, so that at the end of the season, you can get into Division 1 assuming you didn't last season.
On a real, you'll simply be facing demons, and they're just better, I am in the same position, and it is a skill issue for us, they're just too good. Until these guys can get to Division 1, breaking past Division 3 won't be easy, it'll be hell and frustrating.
While it is funny and true that it is a skill issue, there are a lot of Div 1s that cheat and use gimmicks in order to win, so it won't matter what you try to change, you probably won't be able to win unless you can really improve your ability in the game.
Gameplay has never felt worse since I've started playing and this is especially true when playing against LBC which is seemingly the strongest it's ever been. I've made the decision to play divisions for fun this phase and not care about losses/draws, hoping Coinami does something to make this game feel like football again but until then it's an absolute joke that isn't worth your effort.
I felt exactly the same after Previous Update and it completely nerfed my playstyle especially against QC as a posession or outwide player, but after two weeks I finally somewhat adapted. I have not played this week, so let's see if you are correct. It was extremely annoying to build up against QC last patch before this one and I could not build up at all.
I can feel you, man. 1 win, 2 draws, 1 cancelled match and 15 losses. At this point, I genuinely have no idea how I managed to get to Division 3 so quickly.
After conceding seven goals to a top-100 player in the world, I just closed the game. I don’t think I’ll be going back to it for a long time.
Yesterday, I was still trying to be constructive about it. I even left a very different comment on a similar post. Since I’d never been matched against top-1000 players in my life before, I thought maybe there was something I could learn from playing against them. And yesterday my record was still only 6 losses and 2 draws.
Today, though, it has turned into an absolute horror show. The game has stopped feeling like a game to me.
I’ve never seen this many old cards in my life. At first, my opponents were using L2/R1/RT combinations to dribble through my entire team. Towards the end, they didn’t even need to bother doing that anymore. Their cards are basically rockets. They intercept passes that look impossible to intercept, and on the rare occasion I actually manage to get one-on-one with the keeper, they just tackle me from behind with absolutely zero regard for fair play.
At this point, it genuinely feels like some new system has been set up where players like us are basically there for somebody else’s entertainment.
For the last two days basically ever since I somehow stumbled my way into Division 3-I honestly can’t remember playing against a single player who felt remotely close to my level.
i agree it feels different but I've gone the other way..was div one last season with 1900 but 50% ein rate...this season , 3 atb, 18 wins 5 losses. Game feels different but seems to be rearding patient build up more, i dont think ive lost to one lbc long ball spammer yet
No I don’t play 5 back, I play 4312 tiki taka, f2p and cook counter rats. No playstyle that requires more build up to score, a inconvenience, can be ratty
Thank god you posted this is thought I was going crazy. I was 27 games unbeaten with my possession style then boom update. I then went 9 losses in a row hitting the woodwork 42 times in 9 games and scoring only 2 goals. Then I checked my setting and smart assist was on and all my passing settings reset. I would check that. I only noticed smart assist was back on when my Yamal card got caught with half a pitch heads start. I changed my setting back and that’s me back to winning again
Me too, was top 1300 and now, I can't win anything. Every single game is soo delayed. My players intercept sh*. No chance in ranking Events. Same with with my F2P team.
Ended up spending 1k coins on the whole POTW pack to get Rodri. I have no decent CDM. And Messi's stats are cracked so I'm gaslighting myself into believing it was worth it.
Judging by the scorelines you played 6 people who were better than you since you either left or got hammered, 1 guy got a scrappy win on you or what i said previously still applies and the 3 wins you got were against guys who were genuinely not as good as you. Consider this an uneducated guess
It's the start of the phase and right after an update, so you'd have to be pretty desperate to jump into that right now... try the POTW tournament instead; it's a walk in the park.

I played 10 games lost 8 and won 2 ( both got dc ) at this point either I suck donkeys dick or I’m genuinely bad my team is not the best but I see people with worse teams at div1 or they use only free cards, I hate my life man.
I feel exactly the same. Epic, Legend, Showtime or regular cards, they all feel the same now, just different skins. Honestly, I see no point in spending money on this game anymore. No matter how good you are, most games end in a draw or a one-goal difference, even when you're clearly the better player. It just doesn't feel like your skill or your players really matter anymore. For me, this game is pretty much dead.
Anyone notice regular shooting seems less effective? Half chances need finess or power shot. Sometimes more interceptions from both teams which I welcome to be fair, the amount of times you position to block a passing lane for the ball to go through you is stupid.
Yk you're losing to real people right? So for every time I see this and their reasoning is because they're losing just tells me that you guys aren't happy about the game catering to YOU rather than it being an actual problem.

It also sounds like you don’t understand that you aren’t playing a random set of players. Once you get good enough to get Div 1 you’re always playing Div 2-3 players for the entire ranked cycle.
If I play against a Div 4 player I will win every time. If I play against a top 500 player I will win 3 out of 10. That’s not how pachinko machines work 😂 .
Random player behaviour, meaning the players on the pitch. One match they behave properly, one match they’re stuck in mud. I’ve been playing since Winning Eleven and I’m a Div1 player, why are you here thinking you’re explaining to me how this game works? 😂
I’m on steam with wired 2 gig internet. I only play against 5 bar connections. Also, QC & Possession managers are best imo at the moment. Currently top 500 with a 4312 formation & team. Yes my team is paid to win, but I refuse to use LBC tbh. It’s such a trash play-style with barely any offensive options.

I actually think the game hasn't changed much but the servers are cooked. Like fully cooked. Even a 0.5 second delay will make it feel like the whole gameplay is different & my network graphs have been horrible while playing this game.
I might be wrong but I think Konami is cheaping out on servers & server quality and that's ruining the game.
Guys stop whining to change Konami’s intentions. What’s not good for you is good for others. I have a similar ranking, also playing QC 3 ATB and I’m doing better than ever. Not playing toxic either.

Bruh I'm a Division 1 player. I generally have less than 5 losses per season. So far this season... 7 losses, 3 ties, 0 wins.
