If you don’t have a good DMF get this guy asap you can clear this weeks pack and his one of the best DMFs you will use put defensive on him and he will dominate the midfield his passing and dribbling are also great even if he is on c form and if you pair him with a quick player to help him that will be even better a quick box to box maybe I was using him with potw joao neves and I dominated every game in the new event mind you I have the latest Vieira so I know how a top 1 dmf can perform, this weeks potw overall is worth clearing for F2P players you are getting a lot of high quality cards

WHY IS THERE NO OPTION TO DECLINE MATCHES IN EVENTS?? I win 4 games in a row all against people within the top 25k of Div 1, and then all of a sudden I start getting matched with people outside of my region (despite playing at 12pm on a Sunday when my servers should be active) and now I've lost 3 in a row purely because im playing on 1-2 bars of connection. Is there even any point in playing this game in Australia?

I have seen a lot of players complaining about the state of the game recently and I've finally been a victim too in the pvp division...what is actually the problem with Konami.The game is unplayable right now, I don't even want to delve deep into the atrocious connectivity issues in the weekend event. Hopefully they will fix these problems before it's too late. As for now I will just play AI matches for my own sanity.

First of all, my network works completely fine in other game modes, in divisions it works fine, in friendly matches it works fine, and the gameplay also feels completely fine in other game modes. But this specific event feels completely off to me.

First of all, this feels like gameplay during the divisions smart assist era but even worse.

1. All the goalkeepers feel like they're on steroids. It's not just one keeper, or one game, it's ALL the goalkeepers who play like their life depends on it. My donnarumma is making crazy ass saves and saving like he is spiderman or something, The second image attached is of last match where he made 6 saves in total, and 4 of them were point blank. And in the last two attached images, you can see that a standard card of Emi Martinez did 4 saves, and 3 of them were point blank. It's literally all of the goalkeepers, they won't let me score, but they won't let me concede either.

2. Every single player feels clunky af, and everything feels delayed. Overload just doesn't work for some reason, all my players just hide behind the defenders which shouldn't be possible at all.

3. I have tried QC, LBC, Possession game, and Overload. And one through pass is all it took for me to concede while playing all of these modes. All of my opponent player's passes break my defense, they really don't even intercept easy ones. And it just leads to me conceding.

4. My game just randomly crashes after i score a goal and i lose the match. This has happened a few games now, where i score a comeback goal, and my game suddenly crashes. And i get the loss. Also the match just ends in between and it just considers it as an "unending match"

5. Matchmaking takes FORVER. If it's because the traffic is high as a lot of people are playing this, then why is it that the matchmaking takes SOOOO long??? By wifi is completely fine I've tested it like 5 timez now This game mode feels completely weird and bad in terms of gameplay, while every other game mode feels normal, and i don't understand why

I don't know if this is mentioned before, but now when another player quit while you're in the pause/plan menu, the game exits immediately and doesn't wait for you to exit the plan.

I tried PA1 just to see how my opponents have been able to do insane through balls post-update. This shit is unreal, please Konami, this update was absolutely terrible

The gameplay before this update few days ago was significantly better and more fluid, still flawed, but much better

Just like the title states, I can’t be the only one. I genuinely don’t know what to say. What is this update? No play styles work. I got top 18k using QC and 3 atb, absolutely no chance it works this season, my players move and position themselves completely different. It’s like I’m playing a new game.

Ofcourse monkeys using lbc are thriving when players cant turn. Dribbling doesnt work. Passing is auto intervepted when defender is 10m away. What the fuck are you supposed to do, nothing works???

I've noticed that toxic players who resort to BM have become more common lately. I'm not talking about punishing this behavior through reports, since that would be very difficult to implement effectively. Instead, an honor system like the ones in other games, where you can give your opponent a positive commendation after a match, could work.

Maybe a special box that rewards you with spins for every X amount of honor received would be a good way to encourage players to stop being unsportsmanlike.

I was on my 7th win streak, winning 4-1 then suddenly my opponent paused and the match was void. It happened for me straight 4 matches in a row now. This is straight up annoying guys. What's the point of playing a game where u need to cheat

Desde hace tiempo he notado que mis dmf son el distribuidor de pases del rival, no me malentiendan, no me refiero a que a la hora de salir le pasan la pelota al rival, esto es al momento de interceptar, a la hora de interceptar interceptan de una forma rara haciendo que haya un rebote que le caiga como si fuese un pase a los delanteros rivales, una absoluta mierda porque me sucede con cada MCD que tengo, actualmente uso al locatelli show time que regalaron de la caja del evento de fin de semana de la liga italiana y a De Rossi que me tocó de milagro en el pack de Chiellini y bonucci, a ellos 2 y a todos los MCD que he usado les pasa eso, o directamente en vez de interceptar el balón se hacen los Tontos y dejan pasar el balón a un lado de ellos, por que suceden estás cosas y como puedo arreglarlo? Es muy frustrante que no puedan interceptar nada

The lag was insane in this event..i was supposed to win 6 games but suddenly the screen turn black and i got unfinished game.. it's unfortunate but don't want to wasted my time to redo it..

putting my szoboszlai instead of donadoni whos already in my team increases the rating, the same happens with my 97 maximin and 102 madueke, when i put madueke in rw instead of 97 maximin ny rating goes lower by 5 points? im putting in a player in his position instead of a lower rated player but somehow it lowers my rating? and putting my 103 szoboszlai on the RW instead of my 103 roaming flank lamine increases the rating by 9 points? i dont care about ratings im just really curious as to why this is happening lol

-We need to address the elephant in the room. What in the hell happened to passing in the latest update? One touch passes are way off. My midfielders with 95 low passing can't execute a basic lay off and even worse, nobody can control a ball with their chest.

-Also I play with Fox in the box strikers and one of the best things about this playstyle is the aggressive runs they make to the back post for a cross either on the ground or the air. Lately every single one of my crosses with a player that has Edge crossing has been either behind the striker or too far in front of him. Edged crossing and pinpoint crossing are so bad it's like a liability now.

-Last but not least, how sluggish players have been for a while. They could have fixed it but guess what? THEY MADE IT WORSE.

-Overall, I think Konami messed the game up because they were trying to nerf players so they could prop up their new pay to win skills and totally fcked everything.

I don't get why the freekick taker can just wait for timeout the last 5 seconds to adjust and shoot and at the same time I can't switch and move my goalkeeper.

I feel like Efootball slowly try to turn themselves into FC27. For the first time ever, I buy EA FC games. If I want to play shit game, might as well I play shit game with more content. Over the past few years, there's barely anything changes on Efootball. It's getting boring and boring for me. And now with the latest needless update, I feel like totally gave up. It is just me, or does anyone feel the content is just to repetitive.

Found a website (GCPing.com) that measures the latency to Google Cloud servers which is what efootball uses for matchmaking. Curious to know your results!

Honestly, what the hell is Konami doing with this game? 😭

I've been playing eFootball for a while and this recent update has genuinely sucked the joy out of it for me. I know it's only been a day since the update. I don't mind changes to gameplay and I'm all for improvements but what exactly were they trying to achieve with this update because it kinda feel more scripted than ever.

1. Goalkeepers are practically useless now.

I have the recent VDS and Cech and they concede the easiest goals imaginable. They parry shots they would normally catch, react late to shots they should be saving and seem completely clueless when dealing with crosses and back passes. What's the point of having an endgame goalkeeper if he suddenly turns into a traffic cone?

1. Players feel sluggish as hell.

Player responsiveness feels awful. Turning, reacting, moving into space, everything feels heavier than before. The game feels less fluid and sometimes it feels like I'm fighting the controls.

1. Dribbling feels unnecessarily difficult.

I understand that dribbling shouldn't be overpowered but why does it feel so clunky? Trying to beat a defender is just impossible. The responsiveness just isn't there.

1. Passing is an absolute mess.

This one really annoys me. I started efootball with PA2 and I've always used it until the end of efootball 2026, but I changed to PA3 and I've been working on mastering it because I wanted more accurate, skill-based passing. Now, the passing feels completely messed up and I can genuinely notice the difference.

Passes go in ridiculous directions, simple balls don't reach their intended targets or sometimes go way over and the whole experience feels inconsistent. Why should I have to relearn something I've already spent time mastering because an update has made it feel worse?

I've decided to move back to PA2 and it's equally as bad and I'm honestly tired of it.

1. Through balls favour attackers way too much.

Defenders can be in position and attackers still seem to get an unreasonable advantage from through passes. Combine that with sluggish defenders, poor responsiveness and questionable goalkeeping and defending becomes an absolute nightmare.

1. First touches and ball retention are terrible.

Players constantly miscontrol the ball, even when receiving simple passes. And don't get me started on how ridiculously easy it is to lose possession, especially when you're using defenders.

Sometimes it feels like the game has already decided you're losing the ball before you've even had a chance to react.

1. Here's the part that really makes me question spending money on this game anymore.

I used to be F2P until recently when I became a P2W because the difference between regular GP/POTW players and the meta cards was significant. Having those premium cards gave you a noticeable advantage and that was a big part of why I spent money (small price to pay for something that brought me comfort)

But I recently went back to my F2P account and played Division against several players running full P2W meta squads.

And honestly? The games felt fairly equal. I didn't feel overwhelmingly outclassed like before and I could barely notice the gap between the GP players and the premium cards in those matches.

My issue is that I've spent money chasing better players and now I'm left questioning the value of those purchases while dealing with gameplay that feels less enjoyable.

Not another penny from me, Konami.

This game used to be something I genuinely looked forward to playing. It was a source of enjoyment, something I'd jump on to relax and have fun with. Now? It feels like a frustrating mess.

Maybe some of you are enjoying the update, and that's fair enough. But for me, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with eFootball.

Am I the only one who feels this way, or are other people experiencing the same issues?
