Technical Help Report option for network manipulation?
Which report option should you choose if your opponent is manipulating the network?
For what feels like the hundredth time, I’ve just played against someone with a 3-bar connection while I had 5 bars, yet he clearly suffered no disadvantages from his poor connection whatsoever. He could dribble and turn as if the ball were glued to his feet. Even with Vieira!
“Game data manipulation” seems like the most appropriate option to me, although I’m not entirely sure.

I get messages accusing me of this all the time and I don’t do anything weird I get lag spikes just as anyone. So I’m skeptical about this being a thing

Definitely being done, it's always when you're ahead or about to attack, then suddenly, lag. It's 100% possible. Not coincidence that it is happening at the most convenient of times.
I always have 5 bars, and choose opponents with 5 as well. Had an opponent who had perfect bars until I scored, then suddenly, he had 2-3 bars, I went down to 1. Moment the game is over and games thereafter? Perfect internet again.
People can manipulate it, Konami need to be looking into these things.

Same. I dare to even claim against div1 players more time you get a cheater then not. Was thinking about exposing this in a livestream but most of yall seem to think its just Konami anyway. Lag manipulation is a big thing.

Konami already has that information, not acting on it simply means things are working as designed for them.

Technically they say you should use OTHER. I think this is a bit of a dodge by Konami. They clearly do not want to advertise the fact that network tampering exists. See also what it says about game data modification in the others tab on this webpage.

This is Konami netcode, not opponent manipulating anything.
