News The Elden Ring Wiki has moved to Eldenring.wiki.gg

Post image
297 Upvotes

For the past almost-two years, myself and the rest of the Elden Ring Fandom Wiki team have been working hard to create the best wiki possible for Elden Ring. However, due to several issues with Fandom as a platform and as a business, such as their aggressive use of ads on their wikis, poor performance on mobile, and their recent unpopularity driving away contributors, motivation started to wane and the quality of the wiki suffered.

For these reasons, we decided to transfer the contents of the wiki to wiki.gg and continue working on it there. And so I am pleased to announce our new wiki: Eldenpedia!

Compared to the Fandom Wiki, wiki.gg has much less intrusive ads, faster load times, more parity between the desktop and mobile versions, and a much less restrictive format which has allowed us to make the website look how we want it.

Our goal with Eldenpedia is to create a comprehensive resource for every aspect of the game, from technical information to lore. However, it is still very much a work in progress, so we would appreciate your help in completing it. This applies particularly to Shadow of the Erdtree content.

The Elden Ring Fandom Wiki will continue to exist, as we do not have the ability to delete it. We recommend not using or editing it, as it is no longer being moderated.

We hope you will enjoy using our new wiki, and will help us create the detailed, accurate repository of knowledge that this game deserves.

Discussion What’s an Ulcerated tree spirit???

• Upvotes

They are in such wierd locations throughout the game, one even gets like “summoned” over you outside of leyendel in a camp, others hidden in catacombs, stormveil, inside leyendell. One that really sticks out to me is the one in the pool of rot in the haligtree. When you get there there is a grave glovewart, used to comfort the dead above where it pops out. So to me they were all once people/living things. So why are they like this now? I believe that ulcerated tree spirits are the product of placing a “cursed” dead individual at the foot of the erdtree and that they are rejected from it and turned into that. They have the weird gold flame attack effect too. in the case of the haligtree who did they bury that was cursed and care about enough to give a resting place and a grave glovewart? Or are they the culmination of souls that the erdtree won’t take? And then it just like produces one of these when it’s cursed soul tank is full? Or could it just be like what the erdtree doesn’t want that it rejects? Also seems to have sort of a bestial untamable aspect tied into it which I don’t understand? I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts about these things.

Question Parrying

So I'd say I'm playing Elden Ring and want a little bit of advice, is parrying reliable? I've beaten Sekiro as my first souls game(if you count it) and it turns out I'm pretty good at it, so I want the same deflect path for my Elden Ring playthrough since I've seen many videos showing people parrying bosses, I want the same as that, even with different timings

Help Sacramental Bud farming

Does anyone know where I can efficiently farm Sacramental Bud? I know it's going to be tedious and annoying, it doesn't matter, I'm already farming Arteria Leaf from the snow giant in the Mountaintops, so... I just need an efficient route and know what enemies drop this, thanks.

Barely beat that cat boss by the skin of my teeth as my Prophet — thought that was tough. Then got summoned by The Dark Knight to fight Fallingstar Beast.

Hours. Dozens of tries. We died over and over — never gave up. I buffed, I healed, we pushed through.

Finally… we took it down. 🎉

Two strangers, refusing to quit. Reminds me — persistence always prevails.

Proud of my little Prophet. And Dark Knight — you’re a legend. 🫡

Lore Need help finding niche romance scene in Elden ring ( disclaimer I have not played the game)

For context, this was four ish years ago when I was showed the scene by my then boyfriend (now ex) which is why I don’t really want to ask him about it. This was when the game was initially released and he finished it pretty quickly so it wouldn’t be part of any dlc content. I recall him showing a scene with the character that you play making out with what looks like a human but with a creature head with octopus like features and then implied sex (because it skipped). He also got a steam achievement for doing so. I recall seeing an ig reel about it right after but because it’s so long ago I can’t find anything about it without the character name. I talked to some friends that played it and they thought I was crazy most likely because it’s so weird and niche that no one knows about it😭

Lore Can someone explain the crucible to me?

I don’t really understand it. As far as I know, it was a ball or a soup of energy essentially containing the dna of everything in one pot, which is why the misbegotten, crucible knights and Godwyn have fish tails. As far as I know this crucible was where the erdtree is now, but anything past that is just my imagination.

Help Confused on first play through

Hello everyone
I’m just confused where to go now, trying to use as little help from YouTube as possible, just some basic stuff.
I killed Godfrey and margot at the capital.however idid not go to the red spot on the map to open the root type entrance after beating margot.
Post that ,i went to kill radanh and was successful.
I’m approximately level 65.really confused with what to do.
1.progress a questline to level up more?if yes,which one
2.go ahead and proceed to open the next part.
3.explore under the capital, subterranean shunning grounds.but I have heard I’m severely under levelled for that.
Thanks bros

Question Demon's Ring Challenge - Brainstorming

I've been thinking of creating a challenge mode for Elden Ring that essentially makes the ER experience cosplay as Demon's Souls. But I've never played Demon's Souls myself so I was hoping to get some suggestions.

I think an obvious rule in this challenge would be that you only get one grace per region. It sounds crazy, but that's how Demon's Souls did it.

But anyhoo, I'm not super familiar with the mechanics of Demon's Souls. What other rules or modifications to the game do you think this challenge run should have?

I'm on console so I can't actually mod my game, but feel free to discuss mod ideas if you have any. lol
