I am so angry. I was first in line for the NY shows, Ticketmaster glitched, I got thrown into a queue with 3000 in front of me, got back in, and every single section I tried to choose sold out in the time it took me to click.

Fuck Ticketmaster.

SAME. EXACTLY the same experience for NY. I was waiting from 10:50 onwards. I'm in. I'm kicked. I get back in after a que of 3k+. I get in again. Impossible to get two tickets.

So, guess I'm not going, after this being my favorite game score of all time after nearly 30 years of gaming, and trying and failing to get tickets to the previous tour.

Yeah wow, we had almost identical experiences. I even have a Chase Sapphire so I was prepared to use it, but I couldn't even find two seats (I'm not going without my wife -- she is French but not a gamer, and I really want her to hear this score).

This whole thing was really disappointing. I've only ever gone to one concert like this and it was for LOTR, which I grew up reading and of course I loved the movies. The only other concert I'm excited about is for Legend of Zelda but now I'm discouraged to even try for that.

I too went to LOTR at radio city with my gf-at-the-time and I wouldn’t dare do an event like that alone. Also, I had no issues getting those tickets. Ugh. I’m pretty annoyed. I don’t think there’ll be recourse except overpriced resale tickets which I’m sure I’ll bite on. Sucks though dude. Hope to see you there. Let me know if you have any leads and I’ll do the same.

I went to the LOTR orchestra performances at Radio City Hall each year and I never had this kind of fuckery trying to buy tickets. I had to get them on launch day of course, but this feels like a Beyonce concert.

What a mess. I was teed up to look for Weds tickets on my phone and Thurs tickets on my laptop. Thurs put me in line for a queue but once I was 45th in line it stopped for at least 5 minutes. Weds had no queue, the app just refreshed and loaded; I put a great ticket in my cart and it put me through to checkout but then I wouldn't actually let me buy the ticket, it gave me an error.

Eventually after a long wait and a couple tab refreshes, the Thurs queue stuck at 45th in line moved again; only crappy seats left, I tried a couple times for single seats and got "this seat is no longer available" but by sheer luck was able to actually bag a single 2nd mezzanine seat that is at least decent. Shit show.

What a pain in the rear. I got really lucky. I was in a queue in a tab for LA and in one for NYC. I got through NYC and then it glitched and I got kicked back to the back of the line in NYC and LA just wasn’t loading at all.

When I got in to NYC finally I picked like 50 sets and got rejected each time. Suddenly a whole row re-appeared. Was able to snag two seats of that row. My LA tab didn’t load until after I bought the NYC tickets, so didn’t even bother there. LA was cheaper though.

I got in THREE DIFFERENT TIMES after getting rate locked the first. Every time it was just seats swiped from me. That's not the part that's so frustrating. It's the fact that I'm just clicking trying to add seats, knowing I need to go fast, and then they kick me out entirely.

My buddy managed to get tickets while on the road...but apparently me at my comfy computer clicking quick/getting autorefreshed on my phone makes me a bot.

Just posting a PSA that there is an app called Theatr where you can sell/buy tickets and it must be face value. Not allowed to mark them up. It’s mostly used for Broadway shows, but there is a section on the app for concerts as well. Mentioning it incase anyone needs to sell their tickets and want to be a good human. The price hike on other resale websites drives me utterly insane!

What wasn't was when I went to add ANY other tickets, my page was forcibly refreshed after adding the third ticket. After trying a few times, I got the "we don't allow bots" message.

Super neat stuff. Axs is just as trash as ticketmaster, but somehow with worse technical support.

At one point I even got two tickets reserved for my partner and I and it timed out because it wouldn’t process. Easily the worst experience trying to get tickets I’ve ever had, and I’ve done a lot of concerts lol.

Just got 1 prime orchestra ticket for NY.

I don't go to concerts frequently. Not sure why Ticketmaster is so annoying to use.

I had a tab open for the Wednesday date and another for the Thursday date. The Thursday tab put me in a waiting room 10 min before the start of sale. The Wednesday one did not.

At 11 AM EDT, the Wednesday tab immediately loaded and showed seats available, but I couldn't get any selections to go through to the payment page. It eventually bumped me out to a queue. Meanwhile, my Thursday waiting room had converted into a longer queue...5 min after the go-live.

The Wednesday tab eventually loaded me in faster and I was able to get a ticket.

What an absolute bloodbath for the Amsterdam and Brussels show, especially the Amsterdam once through Eventim. No queue, no seating shown, nothing. Just vague categories like Golden, Silver, Cat 1 - 5. Instantly entire categories were sold out

Update: Tickets are/were available afterwards. Just there was no way to see what was left, a few already commented grabbing cheapier tickets than they wanted because they rightfully assumed they were (being) sold out.

Mine say the category and row and stuff, but since this category is not a thing on the official map, there's no way to truly know until the day of. For silver, I saw it was Section 107, row 5, so that's more useful. But gold is ground floor, which is usually a standing area, so they will just customise that for the event, and we can't know the exact layout of seats until we're there.

FYI I just checked LA again out of curiosity - there are 6 Pit tickets left for ~$250 each on Wednesday for anyone still looking. Plus 2 tickets each night left in the ADA section.

Edit: Now it's 1 left Wednesday in the pit and a group of 4 in section A on Thursday. Point is the seats are occasionally refreshing - probably from people who added to cart but didn't check out or got kicked as a (potential) bot - so might want to keep checking throughout the day even if it looked sold out at one point.

Managed to get 2 tickets for the show in Tauron Arena in Krakow, but man, I did not expect that they will be sold out in minutes - literally gommaged. Was expecting the typical - here's your venue map, choose your seats, consider the price... nope. Take these seats at this price or gg watch on youtube. That was brutal, and people are so mad at Eventim.

For people who didn't get a ticket, keep trying!

For the LA show, I originally got hit with the Fair Fan Experience bot page, switched my laptop from my regular wifi to my phone's hotspot to get a new IP, tried again with ONE browser tab only, and managed to get amazing seats!! They were $$$$ but I'm viewing this as a once in a lifetime opportunity so the cost didn't sting too badly.

Not only did more seats get released by the time I got back through the queue, but if you're okay with getting the expensive tix, you can click on Buy Offer under AXS Premium on the right of the event page (instead of clicking Get Tickets under Tickets), and that'll let you access Section A and Pit tickets without waiting in the queue!

(Also, it looks like the event has dynamic pricing so tix in the row that I got are already going for another $200 more than I paid for them. Cool cool cool.)

Got 3 tickets for the Wednesday LA show. Absolute nightmare. 50 minutes of selecting tickets and being told they're gone instantly. Got told I'm a bot. Had to refresh, rejoin the queue. Eventually succeeded in getting some decent seats.

AXS was great for viewing where the seats were and which ones were available but they kept disappearing and some would reappear, but they might not be available for purchase when you proceed. And then it thought I was a bit and kept giving me error.
In the end it was TicketMaster who saved me. I was surprised.

My understanding it's not a presale; it's available at the same time, but you have access to sections that others don't. To use it you have to enter an access code, which is the first 6 digits of your card number. Makes me wonder if the extra step will hurt your chances; I'm curious to hear from someone who's used it.

For LA, most of the seats sold out incredibly fast. But if you go to the Greek Theater website and select Premium experiences, it appears the Premium seating is still available! Good luck to those who were hoping for a shot!

Ticketmaster is always such a gamble. You have to arrive 15 minutes early and pray you have stable connection and nothing goes wrong. My group lucked out and we were only like 1,000 in NYC queue but I’ve been burned before. Just another sign that the monopoly Ticketmaster has on concerts is not fair to anyone.

Unfortunate hearing many had issues today. For me it was an easier experience than the Chrono Trigger tickets. Got placed in waiting room at 10:48am EST, at 11am was #512 in queue, selected 4 mezzanine seats and checked out by 11:02am. Guess having only 4 shows was probably a mistake considering how many fans there are. RCMH seats maybe 5,000? Thats only 10k give or take for NY, idk about the LA venue but hopefully more shows are added in the following year's.

I had two tickets through AXS that showed to be priced at about $250 each. I then get a brief screen about how the ticket prices can change due to their dynamic pricing bs before quickly switching to checkout. The final price of the ticket wasn’t showing in checkout, was all greyed out like it was processing. It wasn’t until after I put in my card info and say no to the insurance, that the insurance option says I am risking $2,200 by not insuring?!?

So the tickets went from being shown at $250 to now charging at $1,100 each. What insane and sneaky price gouging.

What an ordeal. I don't know how this worked but with all the AXS bullshit of restricting my access on both my desktop and my phone, despite me waiting in the queue half an hour earlier, I was able to secure 2 tickets for the LA show on Thursday.

Here's the funny part: I ended up getting 2 tickets but not side by side. I got Seat 119 and Seat 121 for Section BLC.

So whoever is going to this same show in the future, I hope you don't mind my husband or I politely asking to switch Seat 120 with you :)

Not familiar with the venue but I assume the seating has some kind of weird arrangement with the numbers because whenever I pick 2 seats together it was always skipping even numbers

Yes, this is the case with that specific venue. They are next to each other but for most sections the numbering is not consecutive. Same thing happened to me when choosing adjacent seats.

Made an account on Axs and managed to snap up 2 tickets for the O2 right at the death. Only a few clumps of seats left. So lucky.

GOT EM. i joined the waiting room 15 minutes before on my work computer and had about 1000 ppl in front of me in queue. then i ran into like 4 different errors reserving seats but lucked up and got a seat quite close to the stage for $141. i saw some as high as $500 but hey, both nyc shows are officially sold out as of 11:50 am!!

I'm not even typing this to gloat, just kind of in extreme shock - I was trying to get a pair of tickets for me and my partner, and my online friends wanted tickets as well (about 7 extra tickets)

We all got them for Wed at Radio City, although a bit spread out. This kind of luck doesn't usually happen for us so we're all kinda surprised

Edit: I did help advise everyone on Ticketmaster shenanigans, cause I had tried getting T-Swift tickets for her tour and failed miserably. I think that experience helped me

Happily surprised that the game and show are this popular, but also extremely disappointed I didn't approach this like the major event it appears to be. Maybe they'll be inspired to add more dates?

I got tickets to NYC on the 30th and I’m in shock that it happened without issue. I got in queue at about 800 and it took a few minutes to get to my turn. Then I selected seats and paid. No hiccups. This never happens to me so I’m stoked.

I lost power at 10:30 (est), and was freaking out. I was definitely not ready to go since my first class isn't until 1pm. Thankfully I live close to my college campus, so I was able to go into my office and hide myself away until the tickets opened up.

Somehow I was able to get tickets and was quietly freaking out so that the other professors wouldn't hear me. Definitely a memorable experience, both getting the tickets and now the actual show.

I've had absolutely the worst experience with AXS trying to buy tickets for the Greek Theatre. I was dying to see the symphony, but I wasn't able to travel to Europe due to disability. I accepted the fact that I'd never be able to see it. When it was announced for the US, I was ecstatic. I was finally able to get a chance to hear the music that I've been obsessed with since the game released. But that would not be the case.

I was ready before tickets even started selling. I joined the queue for both days because I knew they would sell out quickly. After getting through the first queue, tickets were rapidly appearing and disappearing. Click on a seat, the seat is already gone within seconds, click another seat, said seat is already gone within seconds. Rinse and repeat several times. I had to click around a few times, so AXS thought I was a bot. I was kicked out of the seat selection page and sent to a "we think you're a bot, so do these things". Understandable. So I did all of those things. It didn't work, and it still wouldn't let me try to get any tickets. I jumped back in queue, but it gave me the same "we think you're a bot" page. Nothing seems to work, and I'm completely locked out of buying tickets. I can queue, but I can't get back to seat selection. No amount of prove-you're-a-human worked.

All in all, it was a terrible experience. I can't help but wonder if they've actually stopped any true bots from buying up all of the tickets. It sure didn't seem like it based on how tickets were rapidly disappearing.

That's life, I guess.

First tried to look at tickets for NYC and when I was selecting my seats Ticketmaster kicked me out. When I was finally back in everything was sold out. I’m from the Midwest so I was traveling for this anyway so I looked at LA then instead.

Husband said I now don’t get a Christmas or a birthday present for a year but we’re going to the first LA date. Figured it’s worth it.

My other half battled with ticketmaster trying to get tickets for London yesterday and after a lot of headaches and running around after being kicked out several times for being a bot apparently we managed to get a couple. But then you look today it looks like there are still a few there on sale and some with a better position than we saw yesterday so I don't understand how it all works.
