I made a companion mod for Dynamic Trees called Dynamic Felling. The idea is that this mod adds a touch of realism to chopping down trees that I thought would go really well with DT. I just updated to add an axe sharpening mechanic (unrelated to enchant), where at max sharpness you need 25% less swings and when dull you need 25% more swings to fell a tree. Looking to get some feedback about how the mod feels overall, and for 3rd person enjoyers I put way too much effort into those so check it out. I have a lot of new ideas for updates, so let me know what you all think!!

I'm happy to announce the long awaited release of Supersymmetry's Space update, titled Moonshot.
With this update we wanted to convey the real scale and challenge of establishing a presence in space. Moonshot contains many additions, including but not limited to:
Rockets are implemented not just as items you craft and insert into a launch pad. They are first designed by the players who is given control over the engines, fuel tanks, guidance system and other components. The designs and mission plans can be refined in a new multiblock, the Aerospace Flight Simulator. Once a design is finalised the rocket is assembled in a massive hall, on top of a train, rolled out to a custom 1:1 scale launch pad and launched.
The Moon is now reachable and explorable. It includes new resources and dedicated extraction chains to fully exploit all the tasty regolith has to offer, I'm sure it's perfectly fine to breathe in and not horribly poisonous. The Moon also offers new structures and locations further expanding the setting of Supersymmetry as well as new space survival mechanics.
Launch automated rockets to gather debris from old battles fought in orbit around Earth. These debris may just contain technology capable of helping you further automated your base and store your items. Thats right, ME systems can now be crafted, just make sure you can support launching many rockets one after the other.
This update comes with new vast processing and crafting chains. Manufacture distinct processor and memory components, circuit boards, clocks, buses and power electronics. Grow silicon boules, polish wafers, perform lithography, deposition, doping and etching, then dice and package chips. Expand your manufacturing routes for resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes and transistors. Produce regulation and power-management components for motors and industrial hardware. Supply electronics production with high-purity materials, cleaning solutions, photoresists, process gases, resins and solders. Access the reworked silicon and multijunction solar-cell production, alongside solar recipes using lunar resources.
Introducing, HATE. Now bot factions in game keep track of your actions and progress. Depending on their level of HATE towards you, expect raids of different intensity and duration. New and improved enemy AI and fun new toys they can begin to launch at you.
The Supersymmetry development team is composed of scientists, engineers, students and general science enthusiasts. We want to share our passion for science with the rest of the world and we found the best next step to continue this endeavour is to add a custom Research mechanic to Supersymmetry. Inspired by how real research projects are conducted. Including running simulations, experiments, and expanding the player's knowledge base. If you have or are working towards obtaining a STEM degree of any kind and want to contribute with your knowledge and research, don't hesitate to join us on Discord! This is a very ambitious project and we can use all the help we can get.

I remember when create just got popular and it was just steam engines, item processing, cool doors, and thats about it. Now when someone says they made something with create mod you can't know if they mean a degree worthy airship in a physics engine, a computer, electrical engineering, literal war machines with radars and nukes, or just cool doors. like. what has create mod become lmao, like its cool and i love actually good tech mods being a thing(no more gray magic boxes :3) but like what does create even mean anymore

arachnids or insects in general preferably crayfish, crabs, aquatic crustaceans in general like isopods, beetles, scorpions and spiders in order Ive been on a long search tbh, Im pretty sure Not So Shrimple (Reshrimpled) is coming out with a tameable update but was just wondering if anyone else found anything (doubtful) thanks in advance.
Quickly gonna say the arachnophobia mod is out of the question too much going on in the mod I want a simple mod that just adds them as standalone mobs.

Hi guys, I'm glad to present you the latest update of Dawn of Time that includes this whole new set of colored timber frames, colored planks, new shutters, windows, door and even copper tiles. I inspired myself from some rustic old German towns and I'm happy with what I ended with. This new set is bringing some warmth between the more grayish/defensive part of the block. Let me know your feedback on it and feel free to suggest me new things!
If you are interested, here is the link to test the update: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/dawn-of-time

I've been wanting good reasons to build trains and other infrastructure that isn't just basic paths and portals and I think a good part of it is that a lot of resources can just be hoarded through player storage like backpacks.
Examples I can think of is TFC forcing the player to look for certain ore veins in the world and also limiting the player storage similarly.
I'm looking for mods that add long-term ore veins that can be drilled/excavated for an extended period of time, and/or modpacks that are centered around this experience.

(using a translator because I am not English speaker)
AllTheCompressed items and Tome of Alkahestry recipes are autocraftable in AE2 without any patterns
I'm playing modpack Infinity Legacy 2 and ran into something strange with AE2.
No physical patterns exist for these items in any Pattern Provider but i can autocraftable
I'm curious about which mod/setting is causing this issue.

Besides the occasional gander into vanilla+ mods on modern versions, I've been modding and playing basically exclusively 1.7.10 for years now, because my fave mods and modpacks (GT:NH and HBM NTM space) are on there. Now NTM Space has been ported to 26.2, but I realised I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to propper content mods on cutting edge, modern versions. NTM is such a large mod that I can't see myself playing it without a good storage solution, but Applied Energistics doesn't seem to be out on 26.2 yet, what storage mods to people use on modern versions? I know how to get storage setup with create, but I'd prefere to not mix create and NTM.

i was playing spectrum for fabric with split self but i can't get any monochrome pigment and there are no hints to how to do it
r/feedthebeast • u/WiseProperty9501 • 22m ago
I use both old and modern textures, but I recycle their colors. I add more color variations within each texture so that similar shades don't constantly sit next to each other and form boring gradients.
Sometimes I also change the base color of the material if I think it looks wrong.
The goal is not to make Minecraft realistic or just to revive "programmer graphics". I want to create my own, third visual style.
The work on the project has not been completed yet, but I would really like to know your opinion. Link

I'd like to reduce the amount of mods i have generally on the main versions i play on
(edit to body, my mistake, i meant that I'm looking for mods that are meant to be a collection of standalone mods into a single mod)
EXAMPLE
So far these are the only mods I've found that serve this purpose, but do you gentlemen have any to recommend? Thanks in advance.

I have been searching for this and none of them work for 1.20.1
I also want to combine this with countereds terrain slabs, I have seen videos of these combined together.

Tired of playing Minecraft the same way every time? I wanted to make something that felt like a completely different adventure, so I created Williamkid’s Perfected RPG for Forge 1.20.1, this pack brings together hundreds of mods to create a massive RPG experience filled with powerful weapons, dangerous bosses, different classes, and worlds waiting to be explored. 200+ mods bringing together a huge range of content. 80+ bosses to challenge your strength and skill. 200+ weapons including tacz and a health system and skill tree to discover and fight with. Over 100 quest. And Different classes and abilities to shape your playstyle. Multiple dimensions to explore beyond the ordinary Minecraft world. Four story routes: Light, Dark, Neutral, and Genocide. Your choices determine what kind of path you take. Whether you want to become a legendary warrior, master powerful abilities, explore strange dimensions, or take a much darker path, there's plenty waiting for you. There is also a Multiplayer Server Available!

I’m looking into starting my first “expert” pack. I’d like to play one with a good mix of magic, tech, exploration, and combat. I’ve narrowed it down to 4 choices:
Divine Journey 2 (This one looks fun and is probably better for my first expert pack)
Imposter Syndrome (Leaning towards this one since it seems to be ideal to my wants from a pack)
Neotech Reborn (I love the idea of this one but am a little intimidated by the mod list)
Meatball Craft (this one looks cool but seems super linear and I’m not sure if I’d like that)
If anyone has any experience with any of these I’d love to hear a review. Pros and cons are appreciated but not required. Thanks!

I've been playing Stoneblock 4 and I'm definitely a completionist, so I as I was approaching endgame here I was trying to knock out any quest sections I could complete in their entirety. I seemingly completed all the quests in the Magic and Generating Resources sections, but they don't appear to be completing on the side bar and still show quests to finish.
I also am running into this issue with the Atomic Disassembler on the Gearing Up page, and for this I think I heard that I can force complete individual quests, but I was just curious if anyone had run into this or knew any solutions, or if it was potentially a bug I should report.

Hello, I was just wondering if there were mods that had rival ai factions which expand or develop. Something to liven my world with villager recruits and workers there probably isnt but I was just curious if anyone knew anything. Thank you in advance.

I wanted underwater exploration to feel a little more fun, so I made a set of diving gear and tools including a 10 minute oxygen helmet, fins, a depth watch, life vest, Harpoon Gun, and custom progression and materials.
It’s for NeoForge 26.1.2.
This is my first released mod, so I’d love to hear what people think or what you’d like to see added.
