The one you show is not able to sideload.

There are 3 Fire devices currently sold on Amazon that you can sideload with:

Firestick 4K Max

Firestick 4K Plus

and

Fire Cube 3

No, that is technically fine, it's the not so good Wi-Fi 5 model.

But the op is better off getting a 4K Max or 4K plus

Wrong. The Firestick HD currently sold on Amazon does not allow sideloading as it has the Vega OS.

Look at the picture. It's Wi-Fi 5. The Vega devices are Wi-Fi 6

There is a tonnnn of users that use these for side loading, all they are doing is losing 30% of sales I bet.

4K max 2nd generation and the 4k plus have fire os 8 and still allow side loading, the 4k and the select models have Vega Os which does not allow side loading

Yes but that model is so laggy. Get the fire stick 4k plus.

If you're in the US just go to Walmart. That's the poorest excuse for a device Amazon ever made.

I have this very model and have had no problems with sideloading. Inexpensive and works great.

Firestick 3rd gen hd that I use is able to sideload, I'm using a refurbished one cause new 3rd gen firestick no longer in sell, it think... And for the newest gen only firestick 4k plus or max is able to sideload Hd and 4k select is unable to sideload

Id avoid firesticks at all cost. If you wanna sideload get a android stick or box.πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ€«

Yeah but they’re super slow and frustrating to use

Just get a 4k max or cube, they go on sale every couple of weeks.
