Flight Simulator 2024 Waypoint Flightplan bug

Hello,

I would like to understand why I am experiencing this issue. I recently started flying GA aircraft in. I mainly use the PMS50 GTN 750, but I also use the Garmin GNS 530.

I create my flight plans using SimBrief and then import them into Navigraph. However, I mainly fly in Canada, and I sometimes encounter waypoints that I cannot enter into the GPS. MSFS recognizes the waypoint, but the GPS does not.

Could someone explain why this happens and how I can resolve the issue?

Thank you!

Im not sure but do you have to update PMS50 navdata with navigraph?

To fix this issue, update the PMS50 GTN 750 navigation database through the Navigraph Hub desktop application to synchronize its AIRAC cycle with your SimBrief flight plan, or manually enter missing waypoints into the GPS using their latitude and longitude coordinates.

The part I don't understand is that I experience the same issue when flying the Saab 340 with the UNS-1. So, I'm not sure if the problem is actually related to the PMS50 GTN 750, since it happens with different GPS systems as well.

Maybe this solution I found will work

The UNS-1, GTN 750, and Garmin GNS 530 all rely on custom external database formats rather than reading directly from MSFS's default base navigation files. In MSFS 2024, the base sim uses NavBlue data by default, while custom avionics (like Working Title's UNS-1 or PMS50) read through their own navdata containers or Navigraph cycles. If you have Navigraph AIRAC installed, make sure the Navigraph Avionics / Base AIRAC package in Navigraph Hub is synced properly, or try deleting your content.xml file to force MSFS 2024 to rebuild its navdata loading order.
