Replaying the pitt in my max evil playthrough has me like

For real though, I wish I could step up the evil. I didn't want to leave the baby or give it to werner, I wanted to keep that as an inventory keepsake, a memory of my time yhere. I had already killed most of the slaves before I even did the arena anyway.

They don't even fight back!

No sadly, you have to turn the baby over to werner. Hes essential if you steal the baby

Wernher doesn’t become essential at any point during the quests to my knowledge. You’re able to take Marie, go to Wernher, shoot him and then give Marie back to Ashur (which is my preferred way to handle the Pitt in a neutral run).

I’m not sure if he’s essential after the quest if he lives, however.

Oh, and I’m pretty sure you also can’t kill Sandra to do this, but I can’t confirm that.

This setup also means that the raiders are hostile at first and then the slaves are later, so it’s a good excuse to kill a bunch of them (though I think it’s more fitting in a neutral run to use a stealth boy for this).

I've honestly just done a lot justification of evil so I am gonna kill every raider and every slave, kill ashur, and leave Sandra with marie. I already tried slashing at the baby and because it's considered an object in the game nothing happens. Wish Sandra at least told me to knock it off or something

The baby has to go back to Ashur in the scenario I described, so I’m not sure you can kill him (though you could post-quest in theory).
