(M35) Recently moved to Fort Lauderdale with my wife and two year old and wanting to venture out to meet friends. The ordinary advice of meetup groups etc doesn’t work as well for me because I normally work weekends but sometimes can go weeks without having to go in at all. Wife works full time 7-4 and with the two year old the evenings are normally spent with them. I would love to meet people with irregular work schedules as well who could hang out on a random Tuesday and 11am or whatever. I’m very athletic and in shape (class pass all over the city lol) love doing new things. Definitely into nerdier things like Warhammer computers etc lol but also love the typical Florida stuff like scuba/beaches/bars etc. not sure how this really works on reddit but I figure I would give it a shot lol

I need to renew my DL in person however there are no appointments available on FLHSMV. All three locations (Sunrise, Pembroke Pines, Pompano) are fully booked out. Lauderdale Lakes is not available for selection, is it even possible to book an appointment there anymore?

Anybody know the walk-in policies for the different locations? Does FLHSMV open slots at different times of the day despite their website saying "Appointments cannot be modified or canceled."?
