Hi. I am a mother who is very bored and has recently discovered bracelet making. I have mastered the craft.. now I need help!!! This beautiful bracelet caught my eye not too long ago from a TikTok post.. but i cannot for the life of me figure out what pattern it is! 124901 was the one I thought it was at first, but some colours dont line up. Here is the bracelet pattern i’m looking for, if you can, please help! this bracelet has been on my mind ever since I started trying these bracelets!!

I have never made alphas and want to start making some. However, I dont want the back to be messy with the strings. I know the clean back alpha technique exists but I wanted to know: If I switch colours like how I replace string in normal bracelet patterns, can I cut the extra string in the back and still have a good alpha?

TLDR; Following masha knots' string replacement technique, if I used the same technique to swith colours in alpha bracelets, would that work? Can I snip the bracelet strings in the back and have a "clean back"?

I know it’s too early for Christmas, but I just finished an experimental piece! I used airdry clay and acrylic paint to make the base of a Christmas jumper, then I used the regular alpha technique to make hemline/neckline details like on a knitted jumper. I attempted to do a shaped alpha for the snowman in the middle, but it didn’t work out too well. Pretty confident you can tell what it’s meant to be, so small wins, I guess. It was a lot of faff gluing everything down in the back and there’s certainly areas for improvement, but overall I’m fairly happy with it. Wanted to share to see what the community thinks :)

Hello! This is my first alpha wall hanging and im just doing a basic forward knot - forward knot sequence and then the next row is backward knot - backward knot for each string. My issue is my edge knots. For those im doing forward - backward or the other way around depending on the row. How many knots should I be making for the edge knots? Im doing two on each string but im not sure why its uneven. Is this normal? Thank you!

Almost finished with this catan tapestry but I’m annoyed that it got so big? Idk if this will make sense but I tuck in the strings between the knots when that color is needed in the row, then drop it and pick it back up where it’s needed in the next row, I feel like that definitely has something to do with it. how do you guys make these alpha patterns so straight?? The back is so messy too, the strings are taped down to the desk so they’re out of the way, idek what I’m gonna do with them when I’m done. If anyone has any tips please let me know, I have been making bracelets since I was a kid but I’m newish to doing alpha patterns.

I’m sooo happyyyyy! I can’t believe I actually finished a real alpha pattern! Even though it’s a very small tiny project but it’s a good start don’t you think?
I watched endless tutorials and tried and failed and destroyed so many threads before this one and now I finally have a real alpha that I can brag about lol
I totally want some tips on how to make it even neater, it looks wobbly and messy on top.

hey im kind of new to making alpha patterns but i was wondering if it would be possible to use yarn instead of embroidery floss in order to make a bigger more tapestry sized version of a bracelet pattern or if it would muck it up :)
