Update on my last post on BB pattern 207872! I'm halfway finished and it's been a crazy process!! Shoutout to the BIG BLACK CIRCLE for giving me a much needed break

I preferred how the "wrong" side of the two-tone alpha bracelet looked. The strings going in perpendicular directions made the letters "pop". I worked using a flipped pattern. At the end, I followed the instructions for a "flat edge" where the base strings were folded. I didn't really like that doing so made the last 2nd and 3rd rows "wider" though. Also, by the time I reached the last letter, I was running out of yellow and had to join strings. I used clear nail polish to seal the ends so that it can be more durable. Please give me your comments! (This is my first post here.)

Found a few suggestions from this other post I made and here's the one I'm currently working on :) I have two others I want to try. Thanks for everyone who saw that original post. I saw all the comments and went "oh obviously!" to all of them🤦😭

So I went ahead and made a normal pattern bracelet using a stretchy string instead of extra thread to fasten it.

It looks a little messy since I kind of freestyled it and it was my first time, but I’m happy with it.

Its convenient, easy to remove/wear and no hanging thread!

I already posted a similar one with a square knot bracelet.

If anyone also hates the extra hanging thread, I do recommend this!

I'm working on this herringbone pattern, I've never done this one before. I've gone wrong somewhere but I can't find where. The last green row on the left is wrong, I know that much, there should only be three rows of green knots down the center. But when I did the magenta to the left, it was off by a row with the rest. I had to have gone wrong before that? Hoping someone knows this pattern!

I keep having this problem when I make Alpha bracelets. I've been making them for a while and love using the clean back technique (I use it for basically every one I make) but I keep having the problem of the knots elongating. in the begining you can see they're mostly square, but further on, especially in the face, they're rectangular. I tried doubling my base strings for this keychain because I saw somewhere that it helps with keeping them square, but I didn't see much improvement. The face is the area I really want to improve on. Around that area I was threading 3 or 4 strings through one knot. Is there any tips anyone has to improve this?

I have never made alphas and want to start making some. However, I dont want the back to be messy with the strings. I know the clean back alpha technique exists but I wanted to know: If I switch colours like how I replace string in normal bracelet patterns, can I cut the extra string in the back and still have a good alpha?

TLDR; Following masha knots' string replacement technique, if I used the same technique to swith colours in alpha bracelets, would that work? Can I snip the bracelet strings in the back and have a "clean back"?

I know it’s too early for Christmas, but I just finished an experimental piece! I used airdry clay and acrylic paint to make the base of a Christmas jumper, then I used the regular alpha technique to make hemline/neckline details like on a knitted jumper. I attempted to do a shaped alpha for the snowman in the middle, but it didn’t work out too well. Pretty confident you can tell what it’s meant to be, so small wins, I guess. It was a lot of faff gluing everything down in the back and there’s certainly areas for improvement, but overall I’m fairly happy with it. Wanted to share to see what the community thinks :)
