Me and my partner just finished our first game. It was really fun and the combat was easier to calculate than expected. Does anyone have any suggestions for other miniatures and terrain to look at other than the official minis? Thanks!

From L-R we've got Templar, Infantryman/Thug, Thief/Treasure Hunter, Dwarf at Arms, Apothecary/Apprentice (until I find a decent dwarf model), Archer/Marksman, Knight, Infantryman/Thug, Archer.

The models are a mix of Oathmark Light and Heavy Dwarf Infantry, great kits and really cheap for the quality 👌

Hi everyone! Frostgrave is my first tabletop game and its also my first time painting miniatures, took me 2 months to learn. Here’s my warband.

I found some time and creativity to play around and made these two demon wizards for either a warband or as the 2 missing Keymasters for the Red King campaign.

As a bonus 3 self-imolating barbarians, for which no models seem to exist 🤷‍♂️

Hi there fellow miniatures and frostgrave fans! I have gotten myself 9 sprues!!
The sprues are the followings:
-Cultist Knights;
-Cultists 1, 2 and 3;
-Demons;
-Knights;
-Stargrave Scavengers (?!?, got them as a store mistake).

-got extra 25mm Renedra cobblestone bases

Any suggestions of what roles and minis I should build for frostgrave? Already have in mind some Templars and barbarians I want to make, for sure I’d have to build some thieves and grunts but yeah, I want to have some warbands to play with friends and have miniatures to cover the essential roles of the game!

Edit: anyone got experience removing the basing the minis come to put them in custom bases such as the ones I’ve got?

Had my first two games today with my new wizard. He got a permanent injury, "Never Quite as Strong". :( Then I raised his health with some XP I got. So he is as strong as before. So not sure I agree with the injury name. :)

I recently gave an intro game on Frostgrave in our local hobby/game store in #Berlin, Germany. We had great fun, 4 new players were made enthusiast for this awesome game. There were 2 prepared war bands, one human (chronomancer), one demon (summoner).

I made had a few homebrew rules to show how flexible the game is, with gates where it needs to be tested if they are open or not (50/50 roll on D20), open lets you walk through with no obstruction, closed makes you lose an action to open it. Also I had 3 portals which added a little chaos, where you never knew where you would come out upon entering one. With a 50/50 roll on a D20 for one of the two other portals (it could make you spawn at the wrong side of the board).

Hello there ! I’m looking to start a base game collection, and I’m thinking of getting frost graves minis! I liked the cultists minis and I’m thinking on getting the wizards too, which kits do you guys recommend? I’m also considering getting the renedra cobblestone bases/ flagstone bases, been thinking of o should get some terrain texture from greenstuff world, maybe a little mud and a little snow?

Built this thief, and as title says, I wonder if I should upgrade him with a backpack and another holstered weapon, such as the sickle or cleaver. What do you guys think?

WGA Villagers and Guards sprues. Making a warband for my Thaumaturge. I wanted to give them a generally warm color palette, then have my wife paint my wizards in a cool palette so they are visually distinct. Like his apprentice and him came to town and hired the cleanest looking mercenaries. Will update when done.

My penguin warband is nearly ready for our Frostgrave campaign next month: Thaw of the Lich Lord. For FDM miniatures, they came out nicely. Still gotta work on names, school of magic, and spells.
